They looked at it and stated that I needed to take it to the Best Buy Geek Squad which I thought was unusual. Shouldn't a T-Mobile store want to keep things in-store and not go to a third party? After driving 20 minutes toward Best Buy, I ended up at another T-Mobile store in Temple (145 Westfield Blvd.) They were awesome and gave me a replacement phone with no issue. Be forewarned, nothing against it, but T-Mobile Belton is owned by a third party (franchise) and T-Mobile Temple is owned by the corporation. I have learned that this is a Big difference. Please take your business to the Temple store instead.

At first, I was a bit confused, but he explained that the crack was in a spot where it was unlikely to spread, and in his opinion, the cost of repair wouldn't be worth it. I truly appreciated his candid and straightforward opinion --he could've easily taken my money, but instead, he gave me valuable, honest advice. While in-store trying to change my phone#, the representative tried to push certain numbers off on me. Typically these phone#s have constant scam calls and FaceTime scam calls. I wanted a particular area code & zip that I mainly conduct business. Then the representative reads my new number out very loudly in front a room full of men. This was to communicate my personal data to the scammers in the store seeking to get customer data to compromise their phone. The new phone number I received was hacked and the entire had to be reset with all logins & passwords changed within 24 hours from the in-store visit. Do not go into these T-Mobile stores to update your account, change your phone, transfer data, etc. Call 611 for customer support for any general concern or technical support at 1800-692-7753.

I have seen one gentleman come out from the back and help one customer and then disappear again to the back. I understand buying a phone takes a long time but the guy checking people in could be doing something to help customers out. Then another guy shows up helps a customer then disappears again to the back. Finally after 50 minutes an associate comes to help me. She gets on the phone and the representative tells me I will have to wait 15 more days till my check is cut. Not the answer I was looking for. I do not understand why it takes over a month to cut a refund check to their customers.
