The people in this store should be on the street selling counterfeit watches. They could not be more unhelpful or uncaring about your business. I went in to buy a $1400 iPhone 13 Max, upgrade my plan with AT&T, and walked out with neither. They were mostly unknowledgeable on the differences between plans, what I'm currently paying, and which phone I brought in to exchange. The ATT reps on the phone seem to be able to explain all of that relatively easily. They could pull nothing useful up on their little tablets even though I'm a customer with an account. I asked questions about 5G service with my plan and all I got were buzzword answers. The two guys I spoke to at one table were all glassy eyed and tired looking and didn't have any confident answers. I looked around to see if the other two employees in this empty store could help and they scatterred like flies. You are better off changing to a different cellular provider, or buying online if you need help from AT&T. You won't get it from the people working in this store. This is the store by the food court. I rarely have a need to visit the actual "brick and mortar" AT&T store. I usually buy all my phone products from the Apple store directly. It's on the end of the mall I usually go and I love their service. Even though I work an unnamed telecom competitor, I use AT&T because I prefer their mobile service in my area. But anyway, I had an extreme error on my latest bill derived from paying off my iPhone at the Apple store and buying a new one. After several phone calls and visits to each store, I finally got the right person at AT&T at the mall. David was awesome. This took a lot of work and patience for both of us. He listed, believed me and did what it took to correct it. He also kept me updated while he was working the issue with corporate. I chatted with all three associates while waiting on this Friday night. They were all very profession, pleasant and sharp. Hard to believe I didn't know this store existed on the other end of the food court by the movie theaters. The larger AT&T store in the center is a franchise and not an official corporate store. I think I will shop here next as well as the Apple store. read more

There are two AT&T stores in the Annall. The one bbt the food court and theaters is absolutely terrible. The employees are rude, condescending, and unwilling to be helpful even when shown, on AT&T's website, what needs to be done to make a change to my account. You'll get better results going to the Panda Express and asking them for help. The store near Macy's is much better. Even when they're unable to help, they at least try and aren't total jerks about it. Hey, AT&T, maybe you don't need two stores inn the same mall, particularly if one is staffed by unhelpful jerks with zero customer service skills. Just wanted to confirm, the very thing that the clowns at the food court AT&T store told me was "not the way it works" was easily accomplished at the AT&T store in the Annnapolis Towne Center, where they even figured out how to give me more data allowance each month for less money. So yeah, stay away...far away...from the mall store. read more

i don't know why anyone has received any low stars here . I RECEIVED AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE ! the associate Junior was knowledgeable on all products and helped me and my boyfriend get upgrades . He gave us prices and bill estimates . He was patient smart and helpful , and he was not trying to over sell. We told him what our budget was and he worked with us. He was amazing and funny. Things did take awhile to get set up, but they answered all of my questions . The store was fancy and clean, and my brother was good sitting down in a chair. The manager was a funny nice guy. All i needed was to change my line from a single and add a line. Boyfriend and I are very happy with our new phones ! read more

This review is for corporate AT&T. Not the store itself. We will post on all AT&T yelp page since it's within the family and there is no specific corporate page. We have been loyal AT&T customers for 15 years. We have a grandfather in unlimited data. So you would think they're honor and appreciate their loyal clients, but no. They're just a bunch of greedy service provider. Since they're are not offering unlimited data anymore. They decided to sent us a letter raising it by $5 more. This is a second letter we've received within 3 months. So every 3 months it seems we get another $5 increase in our plans. What a rip off. That's how AT&T treats their loyal customers of 15 years. So to all of you yelper in search of service providers. Keep in mind. AT&T does not care about you. They're out their to make $$$. So go with whichever provider that treats you the best with the best rates. read more

Worst service I have ever gotten from an att store. The customer service person was confusing and dishonest by not quoting us a monthly price that had my roadside assistance, insurance on both phones and tax included. Went in to get my mom her first smart phone and he told us we would both save money by bundling our lines. Quoted us $130 and bill is $180 a month. read more

This is the worst service I have ever experienced in this store. I went in to spend as much as It cost (any cost mind you) to get a new cell phone for my boyfriend regardless of weather or not I have an upgrade. I had a friend I knew worked at the store so I called him to get help thinking he could point me in the right direction. Instead he texted everyone who worked in the store and basically told them not to sell a phone to me. I have usually had great experiences in that store and highly recommended it to friends constantly, in fact I got someone to switch from verizon to ATT onto my phone plan. Since they have re staffed the store they lost their good employees and all of my respect. I have been a paying ATT customer since it used to be Cingular, but being treated like a child and told I am not allowed to spend my money in this store has left a bad taste in my mouth for the new ATT. I will be taking my business elsewhere and I recommend you do as well. Worst shopping experience of my life. I only gave it one star because it wouldn't let me proceed without adding at least one. Called the mall and asked if they had the iphone 5s in 32gb in stock. They said yes, they had a few. We got there to be told by an employee that "there may be some somewhere back there but he didn't see any". He then proceeds to tell us we could walk down the mall to the kiosk to see if they have it in stock or go to the apple store cause they may give me more money for the buy back of my original phone. Or to even call bestbuy as well. After my boyfriend and I spent almost 2 hours walking the mall and calling places trying to find the phone, we went home with no luck or phone. Once we got home I checked AT&T's website and it showed they had the iPhone 5s 32gb in stock at the store! Even in the color I preferred! I was soooo mad that the guy had lied or didn't take the time to look well enough to help me buy a new phone. We felt like we were being pawned off onto other stores. Will not be returning to that AT&T location. read more

The place was clean and Ben was a sweetheart and took us every step of the with replacing our broken phone online and purchasing accessories. Today we upgraded our phones with AT&T. We did the plan switch on the phone. The gentleman was quick and kind, he was very patient with my fathers every question. He then told us we could pick the phones up at the store or have them shipped. I decided to go to the store and pick them up. Now my family lives in crofton, so we had to decided between the bowie and the annapolis store. We decided Annapolis, and thank baby Jesus we did. The lady who checked us in was sweet and very professional (i forget her name) she was an African American lady. She got Sydnie to help us. Sydnie was nothing shy than amazing, and a breath of fresh air. She set up four phones in under two hours. Two of the phones had to be set up and ready to go (My parents phones, and they cant be bothered with doing it themselves). I wanted her to leave my phone alone as i wanted to set it up myself (I should have let her do it, its taken me far to long) all three were Iphone 6. My sisters phone was a samsung galaxy (she had that one ready to in a snap). Then for the accessories. I am super picky and had spent a decent tine looking for a cover i would like. I gave up as i wasn't able to find anything i liked. Well not Sydnie, she found the perfect case I wanted, with very little information to go on. She found the perfect folio case. My phone an wallet are one in the same. She helped us select two cases for my parents that they love (they were not even in the store at the time). She then quickly applied the tempered glass screen onto my sisters galaxy, without skipping a beat. Sydnie was amazing. We usually rely on a gentleman who works there and has been helping us out for years ( My parents have a loyalty to him as he is married to a South African, because we are from South Africa). He wasn't there today, and not because I don't like him but because I am so happy to have met and been helped by Sydnie. I sincerely hope that AT&T are looking after her well. Yesterday, I visited AT&T at the Annapolis Mall regarding my current service and a telephone I purchased the day before from Potomac Mills. I received excellent service. Danny was outstanding and very honest about the price, the best deal, and explaining why and which program is best for me and my family. Although I did not purchase anything yesterday; in the future, I will always purchase items from this location because of Danny. read more

I have been a long-time customer with AT&T. When my iPhone died, I went in to get a new iPhone. They talked me into an account upgrade with unlimited data, Direct TV through my smartphone for $10 per month, and a new iPad for $99. I had trouble signing in for the $10 per month Direct TV deal. I tried calling the store and I was told that my sales rep could only help me. I then spent a good hour on hold with AT&T Customer Service over several calls. I finally went back to the store, where I found the manager extremely rude. I cancelled the Direct TV offer (because I could not actually sign up), and returned the iPad within 14 days. Of course, in the fine print there is a $44 re-stocking fee. When I complained, the store manager was incredibly rude and non-caring. I literally pay over $3,000 a year to AT&T for my plan over the past 10 years. The store manager told me that I was free to switch to Verizon. Unbelievable.
