I'm amazed when I look back and see my previous review on Yelp was 8 years ago! I still give this store 5 stars. I am always treated professionally and still enjoy shopping here. I went there today to have my iPhone repaired, we ran into some issues and had to restore from backup and didn't have it fixed. But the "Genius Bar" person was so professional and honest, I can't get upset about that. He worked and found a solution for me before I return to Europe. I can appreciate that. I wish my budget allowed me to buy many more things there, but I'm happy with what I have.

My iPhone has been frozen since yesterday. I could not reset it on my own. I visited this store for assistance. I was greeted shortly after walking into the store. The associate asked how could he help me. I shared what was wrong and he fixed it right on the spot. Of course whatever he did looked super simple but hey, I was able to do it. Now I am a happy camper again. I was so lost without my phone.

Large area in the mall with large glass doors but they are seriously unorganized. My son had an appointment and we waited forever. There were plenty of workers but I think they have begun only being concerned about sales and not service.

Yikes! Apple the love and hate relationship. I mean I love Apple but when I have to come face to face, I think there is a slight bit of H A T... nah it's not that deep! But geeeeeezzzzzz! Why don't they have more techs on duty? Think about this? Millions of Apple Customers, few Apple Stores, and just a hand full of techs? Is that logical? No it really isn't. Perhaps that is why they pay $18 a hour for the rep to tell you that there is a 2.5 hour wait or even better make an appointment but you may still have to wait? Huh? Oh Apple how I need to detach my life from you! Anyhow, typical visit. Apple people are always happy, the service is always great but the wait is hella long! It's crazy! Nothing special. Three stars cause I waited only for the time frame to be 30 minutes off and later. Yikes. A whole day messing with an cell phone issue. Errrrrrrrrrrrr

Quick update. The phone is still working which confirms the stands at the mall do a better job than the tech crew at the apple store.

I walked in to buy an iPhone 13 Max and they were ready to get started. I told them to check if it was in stock first before we got into it. They checked and the 512GB one I wanted was out of stock. I told them I'd check the Apple store and they turned into used car salesmen telling me to buy from them today instead of going to another store. Completely unprofessional and it quickly turned into a street barter exchange instead of a professional experience in a corporate store. The folks in the Apple store are professional and knowledgeable. Save your time and switch to another cellular provider or else buy your new phones online or on the phone. The people AT&T hire for these stores are awful. They have nothing but buzzword knowledge and are just interested in making a sale, not providing service.

In an attempt to repair my phone, they changed my Apple Id which, in turn, erased all of my data. In tears and again, no place to stay nor any way to communicate, this Annapolis Store caused me a great amount of anxiety. Misunderstood, my tears were that of "I'm stuck with no way to communicate." Unwilling to help, the associate (wouldn't give his name) Sandy-blonde hair, glasses refused to help, and threatened to call the police. I went to the Apple Store in Northern, VA who were astonished by the mistreatment in Annapolis. Their customer service was a striking contrast to the Eastern Shore. Fair Oaks Mall Apple gets my 5-Star rating. Annapolis Mall Apple gets none (if possible) STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE!

When I arrived, I waited around and eventually one of the guys who was walking by asked if I had been checked in, and he took my name. That minimal contact was it. No one checked on me again or even looked at me twice for half an hour. Eventually, I walked towards the back and told a young woman that I was waiting for my 3:00 pm appointment. She said they would get to me when someone was free. I asked for an estimate of the wait time and she had no response. Usually, in the past, someone in the store at least calls out and greets customers coming in the door in a pleasant tone. Not so here. I understand they are busy, but the whole atmosphere was surly. Eventually, after 40 minutes, one rep who was helping someone else asked what I was waiting for. Then he started to assist me while he was still working with another customer. He was pleasant and helpful, but he explained that he is not actually assigned to that store. Maybe that explains a lot. Because customer service did not seem to be assigned to that store either. I get that they are busy. But a smile and a greeting when people arrive would go a long way. Kudos to Aaron, the visiting Verizon employee with the pleasant attitude who eventually helped me.

The issues with this company are clearly widespread, but the Annapolis location deserves special…read moreattention because it consistently shows just how poorly this organization is run. Every time I've gone there, the parking lot is practically empty -- usually no more than a handful of cars, and it's obvious most of them belong to employees. Yet despite having almost no customers, the staff behaves as if they're overwhelmed or too busy to help anyone. Getting assistance at this location feels impossible. You practically have to stop someone in their tracks just to get acknowledged, and even then they either walk away and never return or act completely unsure about basic questions. It's not a one‑time issue -- it's every visit, every time. What makes this even more frustrating is that other locations are just as bad, which is why I've ended up driving 20 miles to Annapolis in the first place. Add in the unhelpful online and corporate teams, and it becomes clear that the problem isn't local -- it's the entire company. To top it off, the Google rating is extremely misleading. The store shows four‑plus stars, but when you look closely, many of those positive reviews are coming from employees, not actual customers. That alone says everything you need to know about how disconnected this company is from the real customer experience. Overall, the Annapolis location highlights the company's deeper issues: lack of service, lack of accountability, and a culture that simply doesn't value customers.
