And they had the battery that I needed. I wanted a small lead acid battery for a battery & solar powered electric fence controller. I also had fun looking at all the latest & greatest LED bulbs. Most telling of all, I had to return the battery the very next day. The fencer itself was bad, not the battery. The return was completely hassle free. This place is really a mixed bag, some services really suck and others are okay…read more My wife and I recently stopped by to look at phones, to buy printer ink, and to look at digital cameras. GOOD: The sales staff in the various areas were available, very friendly, and they seemed to earnestly try to help out. The store is also very beautiful, huge, fully stocked, and organized nicely. It's a good place to buy something if you need it immediately. BAD: As a previous review mentioned, we literally had one of the sales staff read the bullet points on the stickers to us for the digital cameras. Duh! I can do that myself! If you don't know about cameras, just say so, dude. WORSE: The installation department sucks! I recently bought a Cadillac Escalade for my daughter and it had a Viper system (installed by the previous owner at this Best Buy location). The seller told us that "something" was draining the battery dead. Guess what? It was the stupid Mickey Mouse Viper system! It's a crappy product and an even worse installation job. And if you have a warranty, installing this thing voids your warranty and your dealer won't touch it! So I had Slim's Auto Clinic remove the Viper and install all of the wiring back to stock original condition. And...? Electrical problem solved! But photos speak louder than words. Checkout my photo to see the cancerous crappy product, the bad wiring splicing techniques, and the monstrosity that was removed from the Caddy! Overall, I think the Best Buy brick & mortar selling model may no longer be relevant. It's nice to go in and look at stuff and to ask questions (and have some person read the labels to you). I get back home with the printer to schedule and call Geek Squad and they say the store Geek squad doesn't know what he's talking about and they can fix in store. CRAZY!
