Really easy to get set up with DIRECTVstream new streaming services! It was get my Drivers License, Set Up An Account with my Phone Number verify with a PIN, Enter My SSN for Verification put My Alaska Airlines Credit Card as a Autopay/Draft account and then scan in the 2 Boxes that I added unlimited DVR Storage so I can record as much as I want! Boom in like under 20 Minutes I was walking out with my 2 boxes which didn't take me long to set up at home in my Living Room and Master Bedroom. Mom and Daughter can stream to their smart TV's through their Tablets or Phones. I was hoping LG Smart TV's had an App for DIRECTVstream ready to go but they don't yet kinda bummed about that but it has a workaround hence the 4 Stars. GCI was forcing us off their TIVO Cable platform in Potter Vally & Highlands by March 21 so after investigation of the channels and hearing bad things about Yukon TV I looked at SlingTV and Others but decided on DIRECTVstream. I needed an e-sim card on my new phone , I was already an art customer. I walked in and this is what happened. 1. I could see that there were others waiting to get help who were there before me. no one approached me to ask if I needed anything, unlike gci , or apple, was there an easy way to get yourself in cue. For Christ sake even the inept dmv and my bank has a way to put yourself in cue. I had to be assertive and and interrupt an interaction to get myself. And the guy before me, in cue. The list of those in cue is out of sight of direct vision of the employees who have no way of knowing how far. Shins they are getting. I listened for 10 minutes while JASON talked 9mm caliber cartridges and politics with a customer. While the waiting list got longer. Seriously? I'd love to talk 9mm and hunting .,,,but I wouldn't do it at work in front of people needing service. Gimme a break. How unprofessional. If I were his boss this would have been his last day. I called their phone number twice to try to get a manager to come out and get Jason going in serving...not bullshitting. I watched another employee hang up,on me twice because they didn't want to take the call.. So I interjected. And explained... That I was the one calling to complain to whatever managerial,,,,if any...control there was over JASON She Called into the back and two more assistants came out to assist in the lineup. I might add. The dude in front of me got tired of waiting and left the store. You'd think in this economic competitive environment... That ATT would take a more serious stance on gaining. And KEEPING customers. JASON. What a joke. Fire his ass! Enabling assistants to hang up on me and send me back to the recording cue.... Stop that. I've already been tempted to give Verizon a chance.... Heads up. I needed to make a return at this AT&T location and was heckled by a plainclothes security woman almost the minute I walked in, whom tried to make a loud, sideways comment about my Nike sneakers. I feel like it's not security's job to make comments about the customer's appearance, rather, just sit there and do your $18/hour job lady. It didn't help that she was wearing her Judy Garland red sequined chiclettas from her "Wizard of Oz" 7th grade school play decades ago. It might be time to let go of those and re-gift them to a needy family. I mean, come on, I could seriously snap on this broad all day if I really wanted to be nasty too - so let's not start none and there won't be none. Getting back to the review for the actual store, I was charged a $55 restocking fee to return a phone. I live in New York City and even we don't have a $55 restocking fee! That's a pretty high restocking fee! I'm basically GIVING AT&T $55 for nothing but walking in and facilitating a transaction. I was being charged $55 for breathing in AT&T air. $55 for standing inside of the great space that is AT&T. $55 for being heckled by plain clothes security, $55 for being insulted and attacked by some broad pushing 60 who thinks she still has a chance at a career as a stand-up comic in Vegas. $55. They totally messed up a recent business transaction with me and my family. When I went in 3 times to address certain issues they acted pretty damn evasive - sending me to their telephone operators and then the operators sending me right back to this store. So when subsequently pressed they became rude: unable or unwilling to answer simple questions. So worried their little share of my money would be taken back or something, god only knows. Be advised you are not dealing with the sharpest pencils on the block. Also be advised i was nothing but polite throughout the whole process, even gracious. Of course this is probably a foreign language to these cave dwellers. So the thing is put up with their dumbassery or get the heck out of their stupid and smelly store. But lets face it AT*T does not attract and retain quality employees, more like the kids that didn't bother to get educated and move on to do better things. I've no faith that any of the sales staff really know much about what they are selling. It's a grift. They are hoping their customers are just as dim and unaccomplished as they are. I would pass on this place if you have alternatives. The names of the employees have been omitted to protect the guilty but i will be writing a substack detailing everything. read more

I'm only rating one star even though the customer service was extremely ignorant. I was treated badly and when asked for a manager they refused and threaten security on me. They asked me if they could help and when I asked they became self-righteous as though my question was not good enough for an answer. I did manage to talk to a manager and explain the hostile environment and that it should not even elevated to the level of needing to call on their attention. How ever the Management was very helpful so that star is for them. They answered my question without an power of position but as what customer service should be "helpful". it was a simple answer and I was grateful for it. It is sad to see that individuals who may not know the answer would rather treat you like your the ignorant individual when it is I that was ask " May I help you?" read more

Been a customer for over 10 years - I have three phones on my account, and had been getting messages that my phones were "eligible for upgrades" - so after breaking one decided it was time to replace them (traditionally, an upgrade was a newer phone at a reduced cost, along with a contract). Well, NOW they don't do that anymore, so my big bonus was being able to purchase a new phone at retail price, and work the cost into my monthly bill. HUH? I have been run through the ringer upgrading my phone. Three different managers between the Dimond and 5th Avenue stores. Over three hours last night without success and then back today. I spent another three hours at the 5th Avenue location today. This included revisiting the issues of the night before again. This makes three different managers with various opinions as to my situation. A grand total of over six hours of my time along with my kids. During my AT&T marathon today I watched the manager essentially send people away with a claim of being too busy before hearing their problem. It appears that only the line staff are incentivized to help more people. Last night I was offered a discount because of inconvenience today they want more money. The lone bright spot was the staff person navigating poor management and corporate accounting gaffs. Tiff was a bright star at this place and deserves a raise. Perhaps a better job too. Avoid this location if you are stuck with AT&T. Consider using another service if you can. Over six hours for an upgrade over two days makes me think that it isn't worth it as they don't seem to appreciate their customers or their staff. read more

Even though not many were in AT&T at the time, the white lady with the slick brunette pony and serious sophisticated face lied to me. She told me that apps could not be stored on an external memory chip in my android ZTE, which I found out that it could! I am grateful that my phone can do this because the phone only comes with 8gb, which to anyone is not enough. She also looked bored, but I can't blame her. read more

Five months ago I complained about a huge issue they caused with closing my account. Including lying to me about my account being closed. They insisted I never paid and threatened to send someone after me if I didn't pay my bill then threatened to close my account. I went in and talked to an associate, he got his manager then loudly told his coworker what a bitch I was (I'm sorry I'm such a bitch because I'm tired of someone trying to force me to pay for an account I no longer have). They made me pay the bill and said they'd close my account for good. They told me it was the last bill I'd see but sadly that was a lie. Five months later I'm still getting bills, but no threats associated with them, whenever I call or go in they insist my account doesn't exist and tell me to ignore it. I haven't had an account with them since January and they're still sending me bills with instructions to only mail the payment in. read more

Phone dropped in toilet. Gosh how did that happen? I guess it happens all the time..... Went to store and was told to fill out paper work and I had to have it notarized. Need a copy of drivers license. Some glitch need to do it againt????? Went to store for more paper work and was give a number to call, was patched to apple store, patched back to AT & T. Tick, tick, tick, sure I don't work have time to be on phone for hours.... Still no help no new phone. Insurance is a scam. Helpers are incompetent. Iphones are great. read more
