This review is for the Liberty Ave location in Bloomfield…read more It's currently July 2025 and in December 2024, I dropped off an old pixel 6 of mine because the battery expanded in my hot car. I was told they'd look at it and let me know next steps. I was told I'd need to leave a deposit and I'd hear back. I received a call the next day, wherein a voicemail was left letting me know they'd have to order a battery and it'd arrive in 5-7 days. I never heard back. A few weeks later, I called for an update and was told that they couldn't find my phone but could see the work order and that they'd call me back. No one called me back. I called a month later and was told the same thing and that I'd get a call back. Nope. No call. Oh, by the way, when I "paid a deposit", I was actually signed up for a subscription for Asurion Home that I wasn't made aware of. I cancelled it, but not before I was charged. I visited the store today, as it's clear no one cared to call me back. The manager let me know they likely recycled it after 3 months. He said someone would have called to let me know. Spoiler: no one called me. I, however, did call at the 3 month mark and no one said a word to me outside of letting me know they'd have to keep searching and would call me back. And even though someone said they could see my work order when I called, today I was told there was no work order. I really don't know what to think. Was it deleted to cover tracks when they couldn't find my phone? Did one of them steal my phone and delete the work order? I mean, wtf is happening? From my perspective on the outside, I have to assume the employees either have a min amount of people they need to subscribe to Asurion Home, or there is some sort of credit they receive (it looks like I'm not the only one this has happened to) and the person who I spoke with did so without telling me. Regarding my phone, the manager says it was probably recycled after 3 months and that he couldn't help me. He said to call corporate (which I just did. They asked for the work order#, but that was apparently misplaced along with my phone). His recycled-at-3-months argument is nonsense as well, as my phone went missing after a few weeks. I needed the data on the phone and planned to do a data transfer (per the employee), so I didn't need the phone. It was a phone that wasn't in use. But now the data is gone, along with my phone. This really blows for me. I'm pretty upset and I feel like I won't be helped. So yeah, don't go here unless you're interested in a surprise subscription to Asurion Home and being out the cost of a phone.

All which "corporate" says is not permitted under their "policy" worse yet they try to upsell me on an Asurion maintenance plan!!!!! No on your life! RUN DONT WALK!

I was pleasantly surprised to receive an all inclusive cost estimate the very next day. The price was more than reasonable. Once I arrived to drop off the phone to be repaired, I was greeted with excellent customer service and effective communication. When the repair was completed they notified me it was ready for pickup. When I returned to pick up the phone I was happy to see that the repairs were perfectly executed and the phone was like new. Greatly appreciate this repair shop. I will absolutely be coming back for all of my electronics repair needs.

The gentleman at the kiosk quickly said "yes, I can do it," and said he would do it right away, in 15 minutes. He did get it done quickly. The problem was that the iPhone was not put back together properly. The screen sticks out a bit from the metal back/case a bit higher on one side than it does on the other. I asked the gentleman about this, and he claimed no responsibility, telling me he didn't touch the screen. He said the glass was coming unglued from the chassis. Yes, I agree, but this was not an issue 15 minutes ago. So the battery works fine, but buyer beware.

I would say overall I had a very bad experience with Verizon…read more I needed to return some equipment and get a new remote. I checked online and the main brand new Verizon on Mcknight rd said it took equipment returns. I already reviewed that location they sent me to this location saying they do take returns. I walked in with my equipment and had to wait about 20 minutes until one of the reps was not busy with a customer. He told me they do not take returns except when you first call verizon an get a return authorization. Ok so no=w I am pissed spent 20 minutes at first store then another 30 minutes at this store only to have to go outside and spend almost 90 minutes not he phone waiting for a verizon rep. Finally I got someone to talk to and they accepted the return and gave me a return number which I then brought back into the store. The rep in the store filed the info and took the return info and took the equipment. overall terrible experience. The store itself is tiny and is geared mostly to phone sales. I am not sure how to rate this transaction.?????? The store reps where nice and friendly. The store clerks were in a bad spot as well as Verizon makes it so difficult to do returns on equipment. I would say I give the store reps 4 stars but 1 star for Verizon so I am thinking 2 stars is plenty.

The employees at Verizon disavow all knowledge of this company and do not help to facilitate the process at all.
