The first thing the repair guys said was - the glass is cracked and it has the antenna so it needs to be replaced. I asked what if it's not the glass. the receptionists said then we will put the old glass back on. (odd) i said what if the phone still does not work? we went round and round. So i left it and came back - the glass was replaced and it still did not work. NOW they checked by calling with their phone and with my phone and low and behold it was blocked. AND THEY SHOWED ME HOW TO UNBLOCK IT! Do I get an apology? no I get defensiveness. "This is not what we do to check if its blocked". (Excuse me - that is what you just did). I had almost the opposite experience from the one described here, so I wanted to chime in as…read moreanother customer. First, this is not some random third-party place like Best Buy or Target that just happens to sell Verizon along with everything else. It's a Verizon Authorized Retailer, which means they use the same Verizon systems and can basically do the same things a corporate Verizon store can -- upgrades, new lines, activations, SIM/eSIM, billing changes, troubleshooting, etc. I've gone to both corporate Verizon stores and this location, and the big difference I noticed is how much more time they spent actually helping me. At corporate stores I've often been rushed, told to call customer service or "do it online," and sent on my way. Here, they actually sat down with me, explained my options, and took care of everything right there -- including on a phone I didn't even buy from them. There are times when specific SIM cards or certain inventory can be limited, and that can definitely be frustrating, but that doesn't mean they're "pretending" not to have them just to force a sale. In my case they explained the difference between physical SIM and eSIM and still helped get me activated without trying to push a random phone on me. Also, from what I understand, Verizon has been moving more and more everyday service over to authorized retailers like this one and relying less on corporate stores. So it actually is in people's best interest to get familiar with these locations -- they're going to be the face of Verizon for most of us going forward. Everyone is entitled to their experience, but painting all authorized retailers as "only wanting to sell you something" just doesn't match what I've seen at this store. If you're reading these reviews and are unsure, I'd say at least give them a fair shot before writing them off.
