I used to manage a technology store where we did in house repairs, so I know a little of what is involved. Moe did a fantastic job and he had the tools and parts needed to service all the big brands. If your cell phone is busted - go see Moe! NOTE: GetMoe may not be open right at ten am. Call ahead if you're making a trip to the store, and make sure they're open.

Spectrum dispatch offered no help (besides a reschedule), claimed they were "busy" (go figure). So, I guess look out for technicians who claim they show up but never do? There were even a couple of times where Joel took the time to trouble shoot and ultimately fix whatever the issue was and then offer no charge. Looking back, I wonder if this was possibly because my issue was minor- something that most people would be able to understand and therefore take care of on their own but either way, in this day and age, it's next to impossible to find that kind of generous kindness. As a thank you, I always tipped him. Yesterday I had to jump through hoops just to try to fix my phone and to buy a new phone. It was very stressful and annoying. It's bait and switch on anything they can possibly do to fluff up their numbers in both sales and direct reviews of the employees. If you have an advanced age relative or friend, I would highly recommend that you accompany them to this establishment, as it's very possible that they would get swindled out of more money on items with marked up prices without someone who could catch the multiple red flags and then "whoops, found a discount " etc etc. The person, Brian, who sold my father his phone, couldn't even be bothered to look up my father's actual name (that is directly listed next to the phone that was purchased, on the date it was purchased - and is also a verified user on the account) to send the absurd card to him.
