I just had fiber optic internet installed on Saturday afternoon and the process went better than expected! They kept me up to date via email and text. Even sent a photo of the technician before he arrived at my door. Steve was my installer and he was the nicest man. Helped me figure out the best location for my unit, set up the wires (in an older house too so he had to update things), kept everything clean and helped put the coach back before leaving. I am surprised at how positive my experience was because normally I hear negatives experiences regarding internet but AT&T knows what they are doing! 10/10 PS told Steve that my mother's internet was having issues, he asked if it was AT&T and offered to help her too! read more

The slowest internet service. We are at a dial up speed! We're not even rural! When are they going to progress. We've been waiting several years now. What's their excuse! Unbelievably slow. On March 9, 2018 AT&T came to my home to install Internet and Television. Today is 3/20/2018 and it's still not done. I've wasted just under 9 hours of my time between the 5 hours the tech was at my house and phone calls trying to get them to finish the job. I've been told "I'm sorry" way too many times. In my business, when you make a mistake, you fix it. At AT&T I'm sorry is just a nice thing they are taught to say. I've called. I've tweeted @ATTCares (They do not). I've asked repeatedly to speak with someone who has the ability and the authority to get something done. Clueless and very poorly trained people here in the US. ATT couldn't care less about their customers. Don't cancel Comcast before AT&T is turned on and running. read more

Pros: Nice guide set up and features, $150.00 gift card for new customers to sign up, wireless receivers, free wifi router, install waived if you order online Cons: Contracts, much slower Internet speed than my previous cable provider(although they will tell you it's much faster because of their fiber...completely untrue), much more expensive than previous provider once contract ends, multi-room DVR's(this may be a pro to some, but I would rather have more DVR 's for each room to record more instead of being able to transfer recordings), if one thing goes out or if there's an outage everything goes out as it's all on the same connection. In the end I went back to Charter. Although I was excited to get Uverse and their TV features were superior....price, reliability, Internet speed, on demand options etc are better with my cable provider. read more

We switched to them after having our bill raised for the umpteenth time by comcast. At start they promised they would contact me 1 month before the 1 year rates ended to discuss continuing services. They never told me the full cost it would jump to, "cause it never gets that high because we wouldn't want to lose customers." So I called and spent 30 minutes on the phone and only got the bill lowered by $12 because they're promoting DirectTV now so no longer have deals on AT&T U-verse. To top it off, frankly their service sucks. The internet and tv do frequently go down and are interrupted. If we weren't moving in less than a year I would be switching companies but don't want to end up with an extra fee for terminating service. In the future we will never give AT&T a chance again. read more
