I paid $160 for a screen repair and $80 for a battery replacement. Immediately after leaving, my phone overheated and kept having battery issues. While I was overseas, the phone continued to fail,it wouldn't charge, kept short-circuiting, and became a fire hazard. Another repair shop confirmed the Dallas tech had: installed a fake battery, damaged the motherboard, broken Face ID, messed up magnetic charging, and replaced the screen with plastic, not OLED. I asked for a refund or to cover the secondary repair. He refused responsibility. This is a fraudulent, unsafe, and incompetent service. Do not trust him with your phone.

Instead of assisting her in setting up her phone, the rep sat at the table and made her do it herself. She got stuck several times and we ended up having to leave before she was finished. This was very important because the last step is to wipe the old phone and it requires facial recognition. Due to the broken camera, she could not provide that so we opted to return to the Knox St Apple Store to complete wiping the old phone. We just used the appointment she made the day before. This time service was even better. They treated her like a valued customer and not an inconvenience as we experienced in the other store.
