We ordered 20 wings to share with the table (5 of us), but I ended up eating 10 of them! They were so good! We got 10 Honey Siracha flavored and 10 Double Dipped. We all preferred the Honey Siracha. The double dipped didn't have as flavor. They add tortilla chips to the basket, but they didn't seem to have any seasoning on them. They were very bland so no one ate them. I got the grilled shrimp and a side of coleslaw for my meal. The coleslaw was pretty bland, so I ended up not eating it. But the shrimp was very tasty, and a healthy portion (and healthy option). They come with a side and she got fries. She was only able to eat one taco and took the rest home. Her daughter got to eat for free (from the kids menu). She got the mac and cheese with a side of apple sauce. I tried the mac and cheese. It was ok. She didn't eat anything, but kids are weird. Her mom took it home for her to eat later. My other niece got the boneless wings and loved them. Hers came with tortilla chips. Altogether our bill was about $65 before tip. We had water to drink. I might go back again. If I don't, it's only because I try to eat healthy and there's a lot of temptations here. I give 5 stars because most everything was very good and the server was very nice too. She earned an A+ and her tip reflected that. That said, my friend and I were both extremely upset about the lack of options for lunch. Everything on the menu was brunch and the options for that were not great. It took us quite a while to finally decide on what we would have. I had the quiche Lorraine with sweet potato fries and a salad. The sweet potato fries were OK, but the quiche was cold and I ended up eating less than half of my food. My friend ordered the blue crab benny which came with home fries. Her potatoes were cold and she also ate less than half her food because she said she didn't like it. I will accept blame for not realizing J Wilson doesn't serve lunch on weekends, but the quality of the food is on them. When I come to Lawrence, it's almost always on a Saturday, so I will not be having lunch at J Wilson's again.
