While on the phone with scheduler l informed her l don't drive and my lyft not uber would be 79 dollars. 3. My son birthday was the day before and my client as me the day before about what l did while at work on that day and l said after work im taking my son to dave and busters. My parent's flying in but they are delayed. 3. I had a death the previous shift and let scheduling know. When l got back to work client asked me how was funeral l never told her personally. Best of care did. 4. We were talking about DBS and l was like l was offered that as well but choose not to go with it. 6. 24 hour line inform scheduler l didn't have number l had to get off google 7. Ask was I opening door for replacement b/c owner of home wouldn't be there. 8. Client having my number because family member wanted it to brief me on care plan for a previous day. ( Texting client- He text me about leaving early and l informed him yes l let Best of care know and was approval by owner of home. Best of Care handled this incident poorly and discriminated against me and defamation of my character. l only showed professionalism at all times. l was informed l only work 7 shifts and was a great caregiver and only got exceptional compliments but the scheduler was there for 12 years. She completely lied and whatever that was discussed with the client l was made out to be the problem to make the company look good and keep the contract. Please do better Best of Care

My mom started her 7 year journey at Angel Home Care after breaking her hip while living alone. The…read morepositives were the home was extremely clean, food healthy and appealing and she hired kind caretakers. Although she was entering the early stages of dementia she did required more care. She was very happy there and loved the backyard. There was a big difference in mom's care as her dementia progressed. I was looking for a new home for her towards the end of 2025. Kathy complained a lot about mom's behavior's as her dementia progressed. Kathy let me know she wasn't going to bath mom anymore as of March of 2026 because of mom's outbursts of being showered so early in the morning. Kathy's home is run on the caregiver's schedule NOT on the needs of the residents. Mom's time there came to a head when I came for an unexpected visit to have mom meet a possible new Board & Care provider. Kathy texted me saying, "she didn't have a good morning because of shower and she had scratches on her back, because mom scratches herself." When I got there mom also had what appeared to be finger bruises. I made all the appropriate calls to Adult Protective Services and made a police report. I immediately gave Kathy a 30 day notice and let her know I would bath my mom going forward. When coming to her home 3 days later to bath her I discovered these noticeable 200+ bites on her back and arms. When ask the caregiver Sandra she told me, " they (the residents) all have them, they sit outside and get bug bites." I told her it was most likely scabies or bed bugs and they should let Kathy know. One of the residents heard this and said, "I am scratching everywhere." I made an appointment for my mom to see her doctor 2 days later and she was diagnosed with scabies. Even when I told the facility immediately they made no effort to start addressing the scabies issue. I sent the CDC guidelines on how to treat a scabies outbreak at a senior facility. They did nothing. The next day I decided to call 911 feeling my mom was unsafe and she was transferred to the hospital to be treated. Kathy's home is beautiful on the outside but in my opinion she is all about the money and not attending to the clients and their personal needs. It is my opinion Kathy has not educated herself about dementia and communicable diseases at senior facilities. I DO NOT Recommend her facility for anyone who has dementia.

The VA suggested a few partners and we landed with the most amazing team. Brandy and Jose were our two primary nursing providers. They were both incredibly patient and respectful with my Dad. They did a great job explaining what they were doing and why. They frequently checked in (in person, text, and calls) asking for status updates. If supplies or medication was needed, it would be delivered, in some cases couriered in a couple hours. Additionally, they did an incredible job supporting the rest of the family. Asking how I was doing, was I giving myself permission for self care, and more. They made it possible for me to juggle working and family without doubt. We also had a fabulous support team with Lisa and Beverly who walked us through so many technical questions - who to contact for additional caregiver hours, questions regarding estate and banking info, VA bottlenecks, mortuary and service information, and so much more. Every person on our Uni Care team went above and beyond. Each person was so incredibly talented in their roles. They were so instrumental in making my Dad's end safe, dignified, and peaceful. I will be forever grateful for all their support. If you are in a position where you need hospice care for a loved one, I will recommend this team every time.

Darlene Weber from Golden Care was a lifesaver for me when my mom was hospitalized abruptly then…read morewanted to come home to recover. Mom wasn't mobile at the time, and Darlene and the Golden Care team went overboard to find enough helpers to allow her to be at home. Darlene was also an incredible resource for information about at-home care - from the supplies we needed to which items of "durable medical equipment" we should request from the hospital based on insurance coverage. She even went out of her way to be there when PT and OT providers came so that her caregivers could help mom do the exercises in between visits. She was also incredibly responsive and accommodating even when our plans shifted multiple times. I can't recommend Darlene and the GC team strongly enough.
