I'm really not a fan of Assaggio's Central Market presence. As Natasha S. wrote, the decor is rather sterile: it lacks the rustic charm of most other stalls. If we want sterile, we could just go to the supermarket, right?
I've made one purchase here, just to check 'em out. I bought a tub of hommus. It was one of the worst hommus' I have tried. It was overly moist, way too sweet and way overpriced. When I can buy two tubs for $5 just across the way at Atlas Continental, it's going to take near perfection to pay that price for one measly tub.
To give them their due, the staff are really friendly and were accepting of my feedback.
