I was fortunate to schedule 7 visits to feel comfortable enough to make a 3 day drive back to Oregon. I've been to several therapists in the past . One for tearing my hamstring. Several others for back issues. By far, True Care has been the all around best. Raymond Popp the owner ( Ray), showed me right from the start that he wasn't the typical therapist who would just show how to do the exercise and walk away without any engagement. The appointment was for my son, and the front desk was able to get us into a cancellation pretty promptly (which I was so excited about) and when we got there, we filled out paperwork and went back within 10 min. Alex is who saw him and he was easy going, easy to talk to, and made my son feel comfortable, which is so important to both of us. He did some dry needling on him also and I think that helped a ton. I was in an accident that left me with several…read moreinjuries, and being in my third trimester of pregnancy has made getting treatment extra tricky. A lot of places either don't have experience treating pregnant women or are super limited in what they'll actually do, which can be really frustrating, even with my OB's approval. I was going to another PT place before this and honestly felt kind of hopeless. They weren't very personable or confident, and I felt like they were too scared to touch me, like I just had to wait until after I gave birth to get real help. I knew I was capable of doing more and wasn't improving at all, it was starting to take a toll on my mental health. Deciding to switch to Impact was the best move I could've made. The care here is night and day. You actually work with physical therapists one-on-one, not just techs, and everyone is super friendly, professional, and knows what they're doing. They offer a bunch of holistic treatment options like cupping, massage, dry needling, stretching, and strength work. I've only been going a little over a week, and already I feel so much more hopeful. I'm willing to do the work, I just needed the right guidance, and they've absolutely given me that. They don't treat me like I'm fragile or extremely limited just because I'm pregnant, and that means so much. I'm excited to keep going and finally feel like I'm on the right path to recovery.

Extremely disappointed with ATI Physical Therapy and their billing practices…read more Before I even scheduled my first appointment, I specifically asked them to verify my insurance and tell me exactly what my cost would be per visit. I was told it would be approximately $60. I intentionally waited several days for them to verify my insurance information before moving forward because I wanted to know the cost upfront. At my first visit, I was charged $65. It was $5 more than quoted, but I didn't make an issue of it. Now, approximately 25 days later, ATI is trying to charge me an ADDITIONAL $95 for that same visit. That brings the total cost of ONE physical therapy visit to $160. When I called customer service, I was told the original $65 was supposedly only a "deposit." That was NEVER explained to me. Had I been told that $65 was simply a deposit and that I could later be billed another $95, I would have never agreed to the appointment. What makes this especially frustrating is that I specifically asked for the cost BEFORE scheduling and gave them time to verify everything with my insurance. Their customer service experience only made the situation worse. Patients deserve transparency about what they are agreeing to pay. Quoting someone around $60, collecting $65 at the appointment, and then nearly a month later billing another $95 is completely unacceptable to me. I would absolutely NOT recommend ATI Physical Therapy based on my experience. If you decide to use them, I strongly recommend getting your expected TOTAL cost in writing before receiving any services.

Page was my therapist, and I became more and more comfortable with my balance and strength. By the end of my treatment program, I passed all of my goals. I was particularly pleased with the team concept here. All therapists had ongoing computers for every patient. It can take a year to gain muscle strength back. My PC sent me to Spooner on Litchfield in Surprise, and I am getting excellent care there. I was evaluated by Keith the DPT, and he started me out with exercises and message to lessen the muscle sensitivity I am experiencing after surgery.
