We told the front desk this and they gave us his costs. I paid the bill before I left the office. We were supposed to return after having a root canal. We did not. The endodontist told us to find an alternate dentist to finish the crown. Weeks later we received a bill for hundreds of dollars. The front desk receptionist was rude and dismissive. Stay away!!

The dentist said a hard one would be best so my teeth don't move since I wouldn't be able to wear a retainer with it. I paid for it. He said it was risk free bc if I didn't like it I could try something else. Well, it was extremely painful. I thought maybe I just needed to get used to it. I couldn't sleep bc it hurt so bad. I tried wearing it for an hour during the day and over time I got acclimated but then had insane rebound pain when I took it off. I went back to complain and the dentist said there's no way they made any mistakes with it and it must be my fault. Maybe my teeth moved because my retainer isn't in good condition. I asked if my teeth could really move that much in 2 weeks. He admitted that no, they couldn't. He seemed upset but finally allowed me to get a soft night guard. Turns out in my sleep I think a soft night guard is chewing gum! I woke up so sore I couldn't eat solid food that day. Did I go back and tell them? Heck no! I don't need to not be believed another time. Good for them, they got to keep my money. Definitely never going back.

I also have a secondary insurance, and it was ignored, they wanted payment without submitting it to my secondary insurance. I had filed several complaints to the BBB, DOPL, and both of my insurance companies. Whomever is not being honest we'll find out. I don't want my credit score to be damaged by someone else's mistakes or failure to do their job.

I told them I would be fine with a missed appointment fee or a late fee since it was my fault for not adding the appointment. When I arrived, they took my blood pressure and informed me that it was too high for them to proceed with the treatment. I explained that I often have high blood pressure at doctor's appointments, which is well-documented. I also mentioned that I had taken my ADD medication an hour before, which tends to raise my blood pressure. I even showed them my previous doctor's visit records on my phone, indicating that my blood pressure is typically 5 to 10 points lower than what they measured. The dental assistant suggested that I should see my doctor and get on blood pressure medication, which I found unnecessary as I already know that I get high blood pressure, and I see my doctor every 3 months. They took my blood pressure 2 other times and each time it lowered. They went ahead with the exam, took my x-rays, and then poked an area that had not been bothering me before. It turns out I have a cavity under a crown, which is unfortunate. After the exam, they informed me that I was done for the day and would need to come back when my blood pressure was lower. I was extremely irritated, as I have never had this issue before at this office. They have told me I had high blood pressure each time but never denied me treatment. My high blood pressure at medical appointments is well-documented, and despite showing them evidence and explaining my situation, they still denied me a cleaning. This entire ordeal felt like a complete waste of time. I had no idea they would refuse treatment based on high blood pressure, something I experience during all medical appointments, interviews, or similar situations. After the appointment, I went to Starbucks, got a coffee, and took my own blood pressure at home about 30 minutes after. It had already dropped by 10 points, even though I was still angry. Three hours later, I checked it again, and it was back to normal. Not only was I denied treatment, but I'm sure they billed my insurance for the exam and x-rays. Now, the area they poked hurts, even though it didn't when I first arrived. I have been a patient at this place since it opened over 10 years ago, but this was the last straw. They keep changing their policies and dentists, all with varying levels of quality. Save yourself the trouble and find another place that won't discriminate against you or bill your insurance for half an appointment, only to send you home and tell you to come back later. They also mentioned that I had a credit on my account which somehow was being held for 6 months.

We were recommended by our regular dentist, when my son hit the lovely milestone and was ready for the procedure. He had his wisdom teeth out last week and was in and out for the consultation and the procedure in less time than it takes to get an oil change. I never felt rushed, however. The staff took us back to a consultation room where they explained the procedure and gave clear after-care instructions. (We had also received a couple videos via text earlier in the week that went over the same.) They spent plenty of time answering questions and putting us at ease. The recovery and healing has gone even better than we anticipated. No complications, mild pain and discomfort and my son is nearly back to normal a week later. I appreciated that we were given the doctor's direct cell phone number in case there were any issues after hours. Luckily, we never had to use it. But it was nice to know we could if necessary.
