His tech was great too and was just as caring as the doctor. Best of all was the reasonable price! The root canal was cheaper than a recent crown I had gotten and I'd gone into it assuming it would be more! If I had to get another root canal, I'd definitely go back to this office. Well I went to my regular dentist because an implant needs a crown and come to find out Dr. VanDenBurghe left a piece of rubber in my jawbone that will be there forever. I will not be having them do my implant or any other work again. The only thing they have going for them is how nice of people they are. Front desk is Amazing and the doctors are so friendly. The work they do is not top tier so if you're looking for a one time trip for a problem tooth this would not be the spot for you. If you like nice people and going in for multiple visits to have work done on a single tooth this is the place! 2 stars for being so nice and always same day visits are available. Extra information to know is they do not offer any pain management so Tylenol and ibuprofen is all you get. Hopefully you're lucky enough to not need pain medication because they will not give you any no matter the circumstance.

One came out of the magazine I tried to look through that was provided in the waiting area, and one was crawling on me as I left the office. I was hurt very badly by the doctor durning the Novocain injections. I cried it was so painful! I asked for gas, but was told that was an extra $55. I felt this clinic cared very little for patient care or comfort. The Office Manager did call me and try to make things right for me, so I do appreciate that.

Plus they excepted my…read moreinsurance which is EMI, which is a plus because other places I called you before hand did not. I was pleasantly surprised with the service and the whole experience. My general dentist mentioned I would be needing a root canal on one of my teeth. I was not in pain but I waited a bit too long before getting it taken care of and it grew into an infection that made my cheek swell and my inner upper gumline bulge. I got put on an anabiotic by my GD and saw Canyon Creek a few days later. They were very nice and straightforward explaining everything. As any root canal it did take some time, but I was surprised that he was able to work around the bulge and the drain (of the infection/puss)during the procedure. He was able to get it done without having me come back after the infection drained. I didn't want to have to come back for another visit as my schedule is pretty strict. So this was the perfect scenario for me. He numbed me up and went to town. Making sure I was comfortable and suctioning behind the balloon frequently. All in all I could have not been more comfortable. They gave me a call the next day to make sure I was doing OK. I am unable to take Advil or ibuprofen because I am on blood thinners so the doctor prescribed me a different anti-inflammatory and I was able to pick that up from the pharmacy. The bulge went down pretty much right away after the procedure. Great experience, hope the work holds up and I won't loose my tooth.

Dr. Kochevar is very friendly, worked quickly and seems to have a lot of really cool equipment that I've never seen a general dentist use. The office location is a little funky to get to. You have to get off Bangerter at 98th and kind of backtrack a bit through some parking lots but nothing crazy. I thought going to a specialist was going to cost an arm and a leg but I am happy to report they merely cost a finger at most.
