I was very pleased with the service and care that I received from Greenwood dental. Upon entering the office, my wife and I were greeted by Renee, who was extremely helpful and friendly. (Trust me, this goes a long way toward putting patients at ease). We filled out a minimal amount of necessary paperwork and were whisked back to private rooms (very nice) for our cleanings, x-rays and examinations. The hygienist that helped me was very professional and personable. She did her job well and at an efficient speed. The TV in the ceiling was a nice touch for patient distraction, although headphones for sound would have been nice. The office is extremely well coordinated with appointments, and no sooner was the cleaning completed than Dr. Brandon Greenwood entered and introduced himself. Rather than getting right down to business, he took the time to get to know me and tell me a little about the office and the other dentists working there. He also let me know that the office does emergency appointments and that his staff are available whenever they are needed. Awesome! His fun personality was a delight, and a nice personal touch to his care. He was very good at explaining what he saw on my x-rays and letting me know the best way to care for my teeth in their current state. (no cavities!, yes!). A great dentist, whom I will be glad to return to. Lastly, the office gives out "prizes" for not having any cavities (Yes, even to the adults), so I got a t-shirt for my good dental hygiene efforts. I'm sure this practice keeps the kids happy. I didn't need any more invasive procedures done, so if I do I'll update the review later with my thoughts on those. All in all, a positive experience at Greenwood Dental. I'd recommend to anyone with any dental anxiety. Truly a delightful experience.

I had Dr. Dale, who was so impatient! After the initial shaping there was a large chunk of fake tooth scratching me on the back that he couldn't see, and after I had to have him try to file it off 5+ times to no avail he declared "I'd hate to move your furniture!" And by the end, he had totally misshapen the tooth so it doesn't look at all like my other one, is crooked, has an uneven line, and is sharp on one edge where it touches my tongue. But because it was already crooked and too small compared to my other, and he wouldn't stop commenting on how picky I was, I just stopped asking him to fix it. I hoped he was right and I was just being picky but I don't even want to smile any more that's how much it bothers me still. He would never include this tooth in a portfolio of his best work, and that speaks volumes to the kind of dentist that he is. Shouldn't you want your patients to be impressed instead of depressed with your work? Especially a front tooth! Two stars because their office themselves were very accommodating and nice, somehow when I called to schedule they had scheduled me at a different office? But when I showed up at the office I had called, they were able to squeeze me in despite "not having" an appointment.

She laughed and said whatever. And then hung up. Now the work that the dentist did on my mouth over the past three years, has left me with what is called chronic ulcers. The surrounding teeth or chipped by the dentist and these chips caused white painful sores on the bottom of my tongue. Sores it to this day have not healed. Sores that the dentist ignored, until I asked him about them, and he referred me to someone else. Nothing was done to alleviate the pain from the sores, sores that I still have to this day. Chronic is caused by the dentist by his work, and were not treat it. I was under the understanding that if the Dennis knew something was wrong with something in your mouth, they have the obligation to tell you. At Family Legacy Dental this is not true. The dentist is there to visit with the nurses, the dentist is there too except Medicaid, did not except the fact that the price they receive is lower. The dentist does not work with people who are individuals without support systems and have disabilities like myself and turning us onto the street with a dangerous infection which ultimately required me to go to a doctor, who looked at it, said that the gums were infected, and gave me an antibiotic. He then referred me to a dentist in cares, one Dr. Wiest in Provo. To make a long story short, this dentist does not care about the patients the owner of this practice does not care about the patients the receptionist and the nurses, all of the same type age and ethnicity, do you not care about the patients. A dentist who could have written me a script and sent me on my Way, chose to allow me to leave with an infection the size of a golf ball, very close to my eye sinus and was actually growing to the other side of my face, with that too bad so sad, and a message from the owner which said we do not want to treat you again and you are no longer welcome in our practice. They will not release my entire records to me, even though I paid for them, obviously, they are going to give me copies of papers that I still have that don't really explain anything other thanThe work that they did on my mouth. They would not give me the x-rays, and they would not entertain for even a second helping me. He caused me grief, and the dentist or the owner neither one of them had the courage to confront me one on one. They let the staff tell me. The staff laughed when I mentioned how dangerous my infection was, and the Doctor Who finally did treat me and my family doctor told me that a dentist who operates an office like that is there for the money not for the health of the patients melts. He said it's a shame that that dentist is allowed to practice, and that everybody on Medicaid is basically forced to use that dentist because of the limited amount of doctors that would except Medicaid. I admit I did change several appointments two different times I did have the Covid which required me to change two or three appointments, and then my insurance changed in January which left me in the dark as to whether or not he could still be my dentist. In an emergency situation he chose to not help me, even though all he would've had to do was write a prescription for an antibiotic. I believe this dentist is prejudiced against those who use Medicaid, because he does not receive his listing price for what he is doing. The owner, doesn't care about anything but collecting money that isn't covered by insurance. We had a consultation (Orem) and had the actual surgery the next day in Saratoga Springs. We couldn't have asked for a better first time experience! Dr. Burton explained everything thoroughly in the consult. The next day (surgery day) he was on time, personable, and made us feel right at home. The surgery normally takes about 30 minutes but Dr. Burton, being efficient as he is, only took 20 minutes! He even called in the prescription meds before the surgery started, so by the time we arrived at the pharmacy, it was ready for pick up. For a surgery, it was a remarkable first time experience - HIGHLY recommend!

The previous offices I called were booked out until Monday or Tuesday for a consultation and the actual surgery wouldn't be for another week or two. I finally called Alpine Surgical Arts and I spoke with a receptionist named Shannon I believe. We had a conversation on Wednesday morning and she immediately worked to get me scheduled for a consultation and surgery for Friday (today). I had an X-Ray done and confirmed the pricing, signed some forms electronically which was super easy/fast. Spoke with Dr. Viehweg who was extremely kind and knowledgeable. (He reminded me of Mark Sloan from Grey's Anatomy). When I got back to start the procedure, Shannon actually came in to introduce herself and check in on me. That was such a thoughtful and kind thing to do. She is an absolute gem. As well as they had a wonderful team of people who worked very hard to ease my anxiety and make sure I was comfortable. I remember even before the laughing gas I was already smiling and feeling happy. They made me feel safe. Which is very important to me as someone with an anxiety disordered and complex PTSD. They gave me laughing gas to calm any nerves I might have had before inserting the IV sedation. After the procedure they helped me calm down. I was feeling emotional and overwhelmed which seems to be normal considering it's a lot what your body is going through!! After I woke up enough and calmed down. They helped wheel me to my boyfriend's car to make sure I got in safe and directed us to the pharmacy nearby where we could pick up the medicine they sent in. When I got home I was in a good amount of pain but took the medicine I was prescribed, gargled salt water, ate some icecream and worked to stay hydrated. Now I'm laying on the couch feeling kinda sore in my mouth but not really too much pain. Overall, I'm surprised they don't have more reviews. This place is amazing!! Such a great team of people who are professional, kind and have great knowledge in wisdom teeth removal. The pricing with my insurance wasn't bad either. Not to mention Dr. Viehweg just sent me a personal text to check in and see how I'm doing. Very kind of thoughtful!! HIGHLY recommend them!! I thought today was going to be horrible and it's actually been such a good day thanks to them. :)
