As a Chiropractor, I work with a lot of patients who also train at XTP, and the difference in their strength, body awareness, and overall movement quality is undeniable. They come in more connected to their bodies, with better control and stability, which makes a huge difference in both their recovery and performance. Janine is incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to the musculoskeletal system, and that really shows in how she coaches and programs. What I appreciate most is how easy it is to communicate with her. I can confidently talk through cases, movement patterns, or specific concerns, and she just gets it. That level of understanding and collaboration is rare and so valuable for patient outcomes. If you're looking for a place that not only pushes you but also truly understands how the body should move, X-treme Pilates is it. Couldn't recommend it more.

She gave guidance to the guy in the class and one of the girls, but none to me. She asked me afterwards how I liked the class, and I was VERY honest with my response which I can tell she wasn't too happy about. I gave it some time and decided to give it another shot except this time with a different instructor. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! I was so much happier with this instructor. I liked it that much, I came back again and tried out another different instructor but this time, I didn't need any guidance because by the 3rd time here, I was familiar with the class routine. The class is challenging depending on the instructor. It REALLY makes a big difference who's teaching the class especially if you are a newbie to the studio. Studio is nice and clean. There's an area where you can place your stuff. The bathroom is nice and there are some amenities provided for women which is great. Plenty of free parking in a shared lot, but it can get pretty busy sometimes. There is street parking available which is also free.

I was originally introduced to the studio in 1999 due to chronic knee issues. After a few years of dedication to my Pilates regiment, I regained a strength I thought I'd lost forever. With a desire to learn more, I entered Perfectly Fit's Teacher Training Certification Program, and became an instructor. From 2002-2018, I had the privilege of working at Perfectly Fit with Melissa Quezada, the dedicated and professional studio owner. What a pleasure it was to show up to work every day, teach alongside talented staff, instruct wonderful and loving clients, and give back some Pilates knowledge that had been shared with me over many years. I am now retired and have come full circle as a returning client at the studio. Perfectly Fit is part family, part fun, part functional to my well-being. Whether you are new to Pilates or a seasoned "pro", this studio is a gift to the self that will pay a lifetime's worth of dividends!

I…read moredidn't have trouble using up my monthly credits and quickly moved up from the 4 class/month package, to the 8 class/month package. Over the last year or so, classes have gotten harder and harder to get. I get my credits on the 8th of the month and even when I go in on the 8th, I have to waitlist almost every class that I'd like to attend for the whole month. While this model may work for some, not knowing if I can attend class until around 12-14 hours prior, when other people cancel, doesn't work with my work schedule, so I ultimately made the decision to cancel my membership after 2 years with CP. They have a very wide variety of instructors and they all have different teaching styles, so you'll find the ones that work best for you and are your cup of tea. AJ, Jamie, Betsy and Renee are some of my favorites and are wonderful about correcting you and meeting you where you're at. I'm not a huge fan of instructors that bounce from one exercise to the next constantly, and there are some instructors that give beyond confusing instructions that leave everyone doing something different, with no corrections in sight, so again, you need to find the instructors that work for you - challenge is, most likely, everyone else will want those same instructors, and you'll be on a waiting list to get into the classes! If I was willing to constantly attend classes with those confusing instructors (who also happen to be the ones that say things like "it's not that hard, you have to listen" when they realize everyone is lost) I could probably get into more classes, as those are the ones that consistently have openings. I wish I could have stayed with CP but at over $200/month, it was just getting too challenging to justify the expense when it was so hard to schedule the classes I'd paid for. They will extend class credits for a couple of weeks, but ultimately that only helps so much when you still can't get into the classes without waitlisting them. If I want to take a class, which I'm sure I will, I think paying class by class is going to be the better option going forward, rather than having a monthly subscription that I am locked in to and can't use.

The instructor was good. I wish the class was 45 to 60 minutes!! I noticed that they use a lot of different types of equipment which always makes a class interesting and challenging. I would have bought a package, but it's way too expensive for my budget. I have ClassPass, and they are not on ClassPass.

She is keenly present from moment to moment observing, correcting, and controlling, and is a very competent, pleasant, and calming presence. Then there is a different way of breathing, standing, balancing, and operating one's body in day-to-day life, the training along with the exercises to activate the appropriate muscles. The improvement in my balance is huge, I was frequently tripping or bumping into things - no more. I love to stand up paddleboard, now my balance has improved so that I can paddle on rougher ocean water. I like hiking again - it had become tiring due to injuries. There are side benefits associated with the core exercises and breathing technique that has improved certain common difficulties associated with males of a certain age. Better sleep etc. My knee, lower back and hip pain seem to be in the past as well. It's a lot more fun to do the day-to-day stuff.

I was back home for the holiday season and I'm glad Yelp helped me discover this studio.
