The space is clean, bright, and organized; very comfortable. Andre, the owner, and Sal, the PT doctor who worked with me, are super friendly and caring. I always got a full hour with the doctor. Through the course of my recovery they were positive and encouraging. I hope I don't have a another reason for PT anytime soon, but if I need it I will definitely be back to Flintridge PT. The entire staff is so inviting and warm at Flintridge PT. I originally was referred to this facility by my insurance company and I'm so glad I was. From the moment I walked in for my initial consultation with Dr. Andre (aka Doc) I felt at ease. I was ultimately paired with Ron to help rehabilitate my knee after surgery to repair a torn meniscus and ACL. My experience with Ron was incredible. He made me feel very comfortable expressing any concerns and pushed me just hard enough to ensure I was on the proper path towards my recovery without over-extending my abilities. Ron ensured he educated me on the benefits of our various exercises and gave me homework to do at home. Every appointment ends with "any questions or concerns" so you always feel that you have a safe and receptive platform. I enjoyed my time with the knee physical therapy so much, that when Ron suggested I check them out for some neck pain I was experiencing, I made sure to get that scheduled as well. The neck PT was just as beneficial as my knee rehab. I worked with Gladys and Dr. Andre who made drastic improvements to my overall posture and back strength. I no longer am experiencing any neck pain! While I was sad to depart this gym after several months of treatment, I knew I had the tools to continue my fitness journey on my own. The facility is always incredibly clean, Andre runs a very professional business and I so appreciate him for that. Not to mention he tells the best stories! I wish I could give Flintridge PT six stars. This is the place to go if you're looking to heal or fix something through proper physical therapy, or maintain or improve your strength and mobility. I'm a relatively healthy and active guy who pulled his back muscles and for weeks I was in pain - no matter the stretches I did, the heating pads I used, etc. - but after a few sessions here with Andre, I immediately improved and was mobile again and could sleep comfortably. It was incredible. They say therapy is magic for mind. Well physical therapy - specially here - is magic for your body. Dr. Andre and the entire staff are so helpful and knowledgable. While you're there working on your physical therapy, you're also learning new things that you can carry with you in your day-to-day so that you continue to improve and stay healthy, and stay our of places like this or doctors' offices. This place doesn't treat your symptoms; it treats the root cause of your problems - so you address the problem at its core and actually get to a cure, not make the pain temporarily go away with medication or chiropractics. 10/10 across the board here - the treatment, the friendly and caring people, and the results. read more

Honestly just the best experience. Ron was so helpful and did such an amazing job not just giving me exercises to do at home, or running me through a rote program but actually educating me. He always explained why certain movements and habits were helpful or harmful, and was genuinely enthusiastic and invested in everything he was teaching me to keep myself (and my shoulder) healthy. A big plus for me was always receiving tips on how to alter the exercises we did in person to accommodate my available space and tools at home. Dr. Andre, Ron, and the entire staff a were so professional, friendly, positive, and engaging at every visit, and even gave me a lovely (and wonderfully cheesy) send off at the conclusion of my final appointment yesterday. Doctor Andre and his team helped me restore my mobility and relieved years of pain in my foot and shoulder. The staff is kind, flexible, and knowledgeable. Dr. Andre is a very skilled and proficient physical therapist. I went to him with hip pain and after a few sessions I had the tools/exercises specific to my injury so I could heal myself, which i did. I left after the 1st session not in pain! That was big. I could not have done that without Dr. Andre diagnosing the specific problem and knowing exactly what to do to fix it. Dr Andre and his team, Ron and Hanna, are consummate professionals. They've treated me for a chronic lower back problem and an inflamed achilles tendon. Their therapeutic intervention is based on both the scholarly theory and practiced application of PT. As part of their treatment they explain the physiology of the problems in as much detail as you want, and in lay terms. My achilles problem is resolved and I've made progress re my lower back (and all the related issues that go into that) that I never thought possible. In addition, they're terrific people who combine serious medical intervention with compassion and humor. I recently saw Sal and thought he was an excellent PT. Due to a request by my MD I ended up changing to another clinic, but it had absolutely nothing to do with Sal and the team at Flintridge PT. I would have been happy to continue with Sal. Over my years I have seen a half dozen PTs for different issues, so I feel like I have a basis for review. I found him to be very competent and knowledgeable about what was causing my problem and how to address it. In addition to being knowledgeable, he is an excellent listener. To me this is what separates the good PTs from the great PTs. I felt like he was listening to me and creating a treatment plan based on what I was saying and he was seeing, rather than just relying on what he did with other people. I believe PT needs to be specific to the individual, and I felt like Sal and I agreed on that in principle and practice. Beyond his skills treating a patient's body, I found Sal to have a nice 'bedside' manner. He is understanding, kind, patient, not in a rush, responsive, and friendly. read more

Dr Andre is excellent ! Every session is maximized for progress while taking great care not to over stress the injury. Any question I have is answered in detail and explained in easy to understand terms. I feel like I have his 100% attention. He watches each movement carefully , taking notes on my progress and correcting my form or posture as needed. My shoulder had a partially torn tendon , I could barely raise my arm. I am amazed at the improvements in my range of motion , strength and reduction in pain. At 7 weeks I'm nearing 100% recovery and improving daily. I suffer from consistent neck and shoulder pain thanks to long hours at the office. I had already tried multiple chiropractors, massages, cupping, acupuncture you name it. I came to see Dr. Andre in hopes of getting some relief. He has not only helped relieve the pains through exercises but has also taught me about myself and pointed out certain habits I have fallen into that work against me and increase my pain. I highly recommend him if you want to be on the road to recovery. After getting to a place where my pain was minimal I felt comfortable getting back into workouts which is when I joined group sessions with Coach. Let me tell you... the energy in that room makes you feel like you've had 3 rounds of coffee. Coach makes the room come alive with his lively personality. Dr Andre was awesome! When I walked in he was working with a patient but made sure to greet me and even later on apologize for the wait (there literally was no wait, I was early!) You can just tell he is passionate about helping others heal and giving them the education they need to get that process going, he was very honest that he is going to help treat my wrist but 80% of it is my own commitment and doing the exercises at home. Also, I was impressed by how his experience, anything we discussed he had done before in his career. Pediatrics, pelvic floor therapy, sports, workout with the elderly. I am so happy he chose to practice here in my hometown of la crescenta. Also, he mentioned they offer group fitness classes. Dr. Andre and Flintridge PT is fantastic and I cannot recommend them enough! Like a lot of people, I had put on my Covid 20 (okay, maybe more like Covid 30.. yikes), which made my herniated discs in my neck and sciatica that much worse. Plus all that sitting we do now with long Zoom calls and deskwork. My New Years' resolution was to lose the weight, then start working out and getting strong again. I had already been doing gentle stretching and adjustment work with Dr. Andre before he started Flintridge PT, so my neck and sciatica were already better. But to really make those conditions permanently better, I had to get strong and flexible again. So I launched my New Year with a strict diet, lost 25 pounds, then I was ready to start working out. I am in my "Nifty Fifties" so working out with an actual Physical Therapist (and Dr. Andre is a doctor of physical therapy) is key - not only to avoid injury, but in order to do the exact exercises you need to get your particular spinal issues fixed. You CAN heal yourself with the right training! I work out with Dr. Andre 2x a week now in his sleek, new facility and I love it. He has an upbeat positive attitude, always mixes it up with new exercises, encourages me to do more each week, so I get stronger and stronger. Dr. Andre is passionate about helping his patients get better, get out of the pain cycle, then take it to the next level by getting healthy and in shape.
