I just competed a 3 month program with Alex and it was the most life changing and transformational experiences in my fitness journey. A little background on me, for the past 15 or so years, I've been training the typical "bro split" prioritizing building muscle while sacrificing everything else, including my cardio and mobility; I never gave those things much consideration. To switch things up, I decided to join a CrossFit gym in October 2025 to switch things up a little. All it took was a month of CrossFit for my lack of cardio and mobility training to catch up to me, and I got my first ever injury while training...a tweak in my lower back. That was my sign to reach out to Alex, especially after having followed him on instagram for a few years (and taken two previous group classes with him in 2023) I reached out and scheduled my initial consultation. We determined I'd be a great fit and decided on a 3 month dedicated program. In just those 3 months, my lower back issue was completely resolved, my shoulder mobility limitations were improved dramatically and I learned so much about how to restructure my training style to align with the postural restoration techniques Alex teaches. Alex was able to show me how to integrate these techniques into my usual exercises so I could still build muscle but prevent the mobility imbalances and getting stuck in movement patterns and body positioning that caused so much of the nagging aches and pains I learned to just live with. At the end of our journey together, we discovered another limitation I had been living with for years now and Alex was able to guide me into the right hands to make improvements on that front as well. For about 3 years I was suffering from a fractured neck injury that held me back in many aspects of my life. Physically my body would break down every time I got in a workout routine. I saw many doctors and specialist and no one really understood what was going on. It was only when I met Alex who brought hope back into this journey of recovery. First he wanted to understand who I was in a whole, not just what my injury was, but how it effected my body and what my body had been through in the many years even before my injury. I started going to Alex January of 2024 and my life has changed completely. I initially started going due to my lower back pain. He did an amazing job listening and understanding to what my body needed to manage my pain and improve my life style. Just completed 8 sessions of the "RESET" program by One Studio and Coach Alex. The program was unique, informative, and focused on Myofacial Release and decompression techniques as well as understanding mobility and musculoskeletal relations. Personally I found the program extremely valuable. The techniques learned will be part of my daily routine to improve pain as well as re-establish proper movement. Learning of different breathwork techniques was great too. Since the program my sleep has improved , people have mentioned I am in better spirits, and I am excited to rehabilitate all these years of occupational work damage as well as damage caused by old school weightlifting and traditional workouts. I started working with him for a few sessions 2 months after having my baby and not only struggled with my weight postpartum but also had lots of pain in my legs and my back from epidural.
