They made an incredibly stressful situation completely painless, and they treated our home as if it were their own. One important tip for future customers: This company focuses strictly on remediation, meaning they do not handle the reconstruction or repairs (like replacing drywall) once the mold is gone. This wasn't an issue for me--I simply called around and found a local contractor to patch things up afterward--but it's important to go in with the right expectations and always ask questions! The team members we worked with deserve individual recognition: Brandan came out first to rule out any active plumbing leaks. Once he confirmed the mold wasn't plumbing-related, he kindly offered to inspect the rest of our new home's plumbing. He caught a few minor issues, explained his recommendations clearly, and provided no-pressure quotes. We are so relieved to finally have a trustworthy plumber on speed dial! He then immediately looped in their mold specialist, Ruben. Ruben arrived the very same day to assess the mold and provide a fair quote. He was incredibly sympathetic to our situation and reassured us that he would remove as little material as possible while keeping the home safe and thorough. We immediately knew we were in good hands. A few days later, Ruben and Ivan completed the work. They were punctual, efficient, and surprisingly quiet. Not only did they finish on time, but they also managed to save an entire wall and our builder shelves. Because they saved the wall, Ruben actually adjusted our final invoice down to reflect the lower material removal--a massive financial relief for first-time homebuyers. Ruben took extensive photos, walked me through the containment zone to explain their findings, and even returned the next day to walk my husband through the exact same breakdown so we were both fully informed. The final report they provided was incredibly thorough, detailing every single step with photographic evidence. My husband can be very picky about contracted work, and even he was completely impressed and had zero critiques. The person was argumentative and told me several times that someone had painted the grout in places which is not true. We had the tile installed 16 years ago and we live there and know the history of our tile. We had temoved most of the furniture prior to their arriva. I had one couch that I asked if the put some doem to perfect the feet from getting wet and he said no you don't need to wotry. A disaster from start to finish. Our hallway and bathroom were left without a ceiling for weeks…read more Live electrical wires were left exposed and were later tucked back into the ceiling without being properly addressed. The wires were tested and confirmed to be live. This was an extremely concerning safety issue. We had to get a 3rd party electrician come and secure it before continuing to close the ceiling up. Communication throughout the entire process was extremely poor. We had to call almost every day trying to get someone to come back and finish the job. Dan was rude and condescending during our interactions. The AC contractor they sent came out, looked at the ceiling, and left about 30 minutes later without doing anything. During another visit, my ceiling was cracked when he went into the attic. The damage was eventually repaired, but there were multiple charges that were not clearly itemized, so I could not tell whether the cost of that repair was covered by the company or ultimately charged to us. What should have taken around two weeks ended up taking over a month. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company. To make matters worse, payment was sent by check through certified mail. Months later, we were contacted again and told that they had never been paid, despite the payment having already been made. I'm leaving this review because I believe other customers should know about my experience before deciding whether to hire this company. Between the lengthy delays, poor communication, live electrical wires, unclear charges, and later dispute over a payment we had already made, this was an extremely frustrating experience from beginning to end.
