I found the supervisor standing on my antique outdoor table (that is not meant to be stood on) trying to trim a tree. Very inappropriate.

Aaron and the team are absolute legends. I've been working with them on my back yard for about a…read moreyear now off and on on projects big and small. He's always quick to respond, enthusiastic about the projects, and takes a real pride in his work and making sure things are done in a way that will last. We did a complete backyard overhaul and transformed it from a bare mud pit to a backyard oasis that we now love spending time in now: new sod on half the hard, paver patio and crushed granite on the other half, limestone retaining wall and mulch bed on the back wall, drainage, and irrigation through out. We had an old and non functioning irrigation system that we inherited from the previous owners and rather than just ripping it up and charging us for a new one, Aaron spent hours servicing and getting it to work, and then customized it to work with the new yard layout. We also had some freak of nature downpour of rain pretty soon after the big project was complete, which washed away some of the granite and caused the patio to settle with some dips. Aaron came back and fixed it all and added in additional drainage to keep it from happening again. Aaron is my guy forever now - extremely fair on pricing, honest, full of integrity, thorough, and just an all around nice guy. You won't be disappointed if you choose to work with him.

The photos show how much the selected plants grew in just one season between spring and winter, while still retaining a beautiful look in the colder months without full blooms. The team also fixed our irrigation system and provided additional drainage with a French drain. The team was on schedule and super communicative. After the job completed, Aaron has always been incredibly willing to share advice for landscaping situations that we've encountered since the original installation. His knowledge is very deep and always leads to the expected outcome. I recommend Austin Yard Barber without hesitation.

When we…read moreinquired, they were several months booked, so we just procrastinated and didn't do anything. On the way home one month or so back, there was a PRT crew working in the neighborhood and it motivated me to reach out again. They quickly replied through Yelp once I sent them a message and the estimator was here in a couple of days for an estimate and to provide guidance. He was very helpful in making the decisions we choose. We pretty much revamped our entire landscape. New Sod, removal of old sod and installation of zero scape/natural flat stones/gravel. Replanted all the beds, reworked sprinkler system and a massive trim out of existing shrubs and the sort. Not inexpensive, however they were still less expensive then another service, who suggested such things as a French drain, which really didn't make sense and came in a couple grand higher. The crew were numerous and were on time, courteous and knocked out the project in only a few days. One slight slip was the sod was not available on the last day, so we skipped a day and had the job completed the day after. It still was in the time frame they informed us on to begin with and let us know the day before the sod was to be installed. The result of their hard work will be truly noticed when the new plantings take hold. We have been fortunate with having several days of rain and cool weather. A couple of weeks in the sod has taken hold and none of the plantings have died and are all perking up from the transplanting experience. We are very happy with the results and the ease of working with PRT from start to finish.

We absolutely love it! The crew were super polite and professional folks working through extreme heat over two days (super quick imo). They did a cool underground drainage features with our existing gutters that I'm excited to see workout when it rains next. They truly did a wonderful job and picked up after themselves and even hauled some leftover rotten decking we had for us. Super appreciated and can't wait to reach out to PRT in the future to help us with refreshing our flower beds. They do have a bit a wait but you receive quality results it's definitely worth it.

I wanted a layered, natural landscape that would feel cohesive and attract butterflies, and he was incredibly thoughtful in how he translated that into the design. He paid close attention to the details I mentioned, right down to incorporating some of my favorite flowers. The result feels both intentional and beautifully balanced. This was a comprehensive project that included major demolition, replacing the driveway with a clean, modern ribbon driveway, installing French drains to resolve a standing water issue, a full irrigation overhaul, custom-fabricated planters, native plant install with an emphasis on butterfly-friendly florals, and landscape lighting. The improvements are beautiful and have meaningfully impacted how the space functions day-to-day. The custom planters are truly a standout feature. They've gotten so many compliments from neighbors and really elevate the overall look and feel of the front yard. Abey was on site every day, hands-on and fully engaged. His communication was excellent throughout, and I always felt confident that the project was in good hands. He and his team were also very agile. The team pivoted quickly when adjustments were needed and made sure everything was addressed thoroughly. The transformation has been significant, and the space now feels both well designed and livable, and is true to the natural aesthetic I was hoping for. I'm very excited to watch it grow and develop into a full, lush landscape. I highly recommend Austin Creative Landscaping and wouldn't hesitate to work with them again.

I can't recommend Abey at Austin Creative Landscaping highly enough. He has completely redesigned…read moreand rebuilt both the front and back yards at two different homes for me, and each experience was outstanding from start to finish. Abey starts by listening. He took the time to understand our vision, then created a thoughtful design that balanced looks, function, and long-term practicality. He also welcomed feedback, going back and forth with post-design tweaks until everything felt exactly right. Throughout the entire process he was consistently communicative, clear on timelines, and proactive about updates, which made the whole project feel easy and well managed. The results were truly excellent. In the back yards, we installed turf, quarter-inch steel edging, rocks, and a variety of other xeriscaping elements, and the finished product looks clean, polished, and built to last (and best of all, no dirt for the dogs to track in). The front yards were mostly laying new grass and planting new trees, but the layout and placement were so well considered that they immediately improved the curb appeal and overall feel of the homes. The workmanship was second to none. Pricing-wise, Abey was very competitive. Definitely not the lowest bid, but also nowhere near the highest. Ad the value was incredible given the quality of the work and the experience overall. I couldn't be happier with how both projects turned out, and I've recommended Abey to all our friends without hesitation. If you're looking for someone who combines great design sense, top-tier execution, and professional communication, Abey is the person to call. The before and after photo for the backyard at one of the houses speaks volumes!
