Well I'm unimpressed thus far with cleanliness. Finding not little but a lot of black hairs all…read moreover the main bathroom floor was gross. But the pile of hairs in the toilet was nasty. Totally gross. But the worst had yet to come. The towels literally smelled like mildew. My poor son, 6 1/2 and already exhausted because we'd driven for 7 plus hours and then all food options were eliminated by the late arrival, with only a microwave meal I figured a nice warm shower would help him relax before bed. Well he sadly looked at me and said "mama this towel smells really bad." And WOW it did. Then I was the lucky recipient of the next stinky towel. It was so bad I didn't even wipe myself off. I used the ONE washcloth that didn't stink to dry myself off. When we went to use the coffee machine the filter was dirty and the machine full of coffee grounds. It took me 3 cycles of 6 cups of water to get water to come through clean. How it was not simple enough to clean a coffee machine is beyond me. Our initial arrival we were greeted to a tower of trash and Rubbermaid bins WTF? When we called to ask about it they said they'd take care of it right away. At 12:30 am when we went to bed, it was all stillthere Day 2 we bought detergent to wash them because no one wants a knarly towel to dry off from the shower with. After washing them they're like new. But what a huge pain!!! For cleanliness they get a 2.5/5 from me. A bathroom is the second place you want REALLY clean aside from your bed. And then the kitchen. The beds were fine (a bit old and "springy") but I could have slept on the floor I was so tired. The bathroom should definitely have been mopped and properly cleaned. And I wouldn't have left a dirty coffee machine either. However, the ability to cook your own food 5/5 especially since it's slim pickings and terrifically long lines here for most places. The sledding hills at the property 5/5 because it's fluffy and clean snow. And great sledding. Assigned parking per unit 5/5 because it's easier to have "your" space than have to figure it out or fight for parking. Proximity to "downtown" is 2/5 if you've got kids OR if it's this much snow. It wouldn't be easy or safe to walk with kids with the amount of ice there is out and loads of snow. All in all, I give it a 3 since the value is there. Next time I know to bring cleaning products to make sure it's up to snuff.

The staff were wonderful, the location is great and the view is beautiful. Will go back again soon!read more

Me, my wife and 4year old son stayed in Valhalla. 1 bedroom with hide-a-bed and kitchen…read more Bed was super hard. Hide-a-bed was lumpy, bent and nearly falling apart. The kitchen had pots and pans, dishes and silverware but no foil, oil or spatula. Making cooking almost impossible and messy. Fridge was so loud you could hear it rumbling from the bedroom or bathroom. We called maintenance about the fridge and they said someone would come out. Nobody came or called. We were scheduled there for 3 nights. We left after the second night. We will not be using this company ever again. We usually visit Leavenworth each summer and winter. We'll stay elsewhere.

First off this is the first negative review I've ever written for anything. I've definitely had bad…read moreexperiences with vacation rental homes and services, but none that compelled me so mush to write a review. I found Destination Leavenworth on VRBO so be on the look out when booking through them. The first thing that happened was when I was asking them about any COVID restrictions less than a month before our stay and it came up that they had to move us to a new property due to "uncontrollable circumstances". We ended up with a nice property, but it was a little off putting that this issue arose from me asking a question about the property. Who knows if it would have been caught before our stay. As far as the actual stay there were many issues: - Garbage disposal in sink didn't work. - Sprinklers came on numerous times while we were there making it very tough to enjoy the nice yard and getting our stuff wet. - The AC didn't seem to be working properly. - There was a door to one of the bedrooms with a screw in the doorway making it impossible to close the door. Not great for privacy. - Maintenance people came unannounced to check on the hot tub, making it tougher to enjoy the property and have privacy. And It was just unsettling finding a stranger in the back yard of our rental property. All these things on top of poor communication: Their offices were closed on the weekends and they have an app that you can submit a maintenance form for issues, but won't respond until regular hours. And they won't do work at night unless it's an emergency. Which I didn't consider our issues an emergency, but should have been able to be easily addressed. We didn't end up reaching out to them while we where there with any of the issues because we decide we'd rather not have multiple people come out to disturb us. So honestly I can't speak to their response to issues as you stay there, but the way the communication was set up was very very confusing and uninviting. The kicker is really, that I sent them an email after our stay stating all these issues and a follow up email. I NEVER HEARD BACK FROM THEM. Zero apology. Great way to loose a customer. With his deep understanding of rural acreage properties, he has done a superb job of finding buyers for the properties that we chose to list with him. Geordie's strengths include his communication skills, his recommendations of land use actions that can increase real estate value and his ease at showing and selling property. In North Central Washington I can't think of a better real estate professional to work with that knows land better than Geordie.

In 2012, our family moved out of the Wenatchee area. I had known Geordie socially for 8 years…read morebefore the move; and when time came to list our home, Geordie was our first call. Our home was a split level, 3 bedroom home in the Western Heights neighborhood. Initially, we were impressed by the research done BEFORE our first meeting. Geordie had toured similar homes in the area, and prepared excellent information to help us price our home. The report included for what homes had listed, how long they had been on the market, and actual selling price. We set a listing date; a few weeks later, we asked to postpone (all the cleaning! the packing!). No problem! As part of our listing, our home was photographed by an amazing photographer who also photographs high end homes - the result was beautiful photographs that showed our home to its finest. An offer was received and accepted. And that's when things got REALLY interesting. Our buyers encountered errors made by their bank - and the deal looked to be in jeopardy. To our relief, Geordie helped navigate the 'crisis' - taking advantage of his seemingly endless reserve of valuable contacts to help find solutions. The result was a deal that looked to be 'crashing' transformed into a workable 30 day delay in closing. Throughout the entire process, Geordie had great communication with us. Be it phone, email, or texting, I always heard back in short order. Geordie also helped us navigate the joys of trying to get things done while our family was 'split' across two cities. It was always clear to me what needed to be done when, and by whom. Selling a home is not something I've done often; it can be extremely stressful for the whole family. With Geordie at our side, I felt confident that we were being taken care of.

Terminated Agent for cause:…read more 1. Sellers stipulated that the property address not be included in the MLS. Contrary to this wish, the initial MLS included a photograph with address. The identical mistake was repeated when the property came back on the MLS after a pending sale period. 2. Agent was informed three separate occasions this property included an "Exemption Parcel" protocol for subdivision. Either the Agent lack of understanding on how to accomplish this protocol or unwillingness to confirm this process with Steve Moore of Central Washington Title and the County led to the potential buyer becoming extremely confused by the process. Going forward not knowing the correct procedure, the Agent informed buyer of requirements to supply water, power, septic, and road access to divided property. This is not required for "Exemption Parcel". Resulting from this misinformation, the Buyer became confused by the process and withdraw his offer. In addition, the buyer seemed to not have been advised of, or ignored, the contractual deadlines which resulted in the buyer forfeiting 1/2 of his earnest money. 3. In the initial interview, the Agent offered to pay for the septic and well inspections to ensure these inspections were done before Winter should the property remained unsold going into Winter and these inspections could not be performed. Later when questioned on this promise during a discussion of splitting the costs of a septic system design, the Agent had no recollection of having made the offer to pay the two inspection fees. 4. Agent was requested to copy both Sellers and Co-Agent in on all correspondence. Repeatedly this request was not followed. 5. During the initial listing meeting the Agent informed Sellers a "Broker Showing" would be conducted. To Sellers knowledge that was not done. 6. None of the other Leavenworth Properties Agents toured the property to the Sellers knowledge. 7. Recent texting communications regarding the two fuel tanks on site were less than accurate and created confusion. Seller Agents were aware of the Sellers plans to leave the fuel tanks on the property. Buyer had not voiced a request to have fuel tanks removed, yet Buyers Agent asked Sellers Agent if they were going to be removed. Sellers Agent passed this misinformation along and later apologized for creating the confusion by not clarifying just who had initiated the inquiry. 8. Seller stipulated from the beginning both Selling Co-Agents attend all showings. Selling Agents choose not to attend the September 2, 2018 showing by Buyers Agent Geordie, Windermere Realty during a critical milestone in the selling process.

CAMIEKAE Camie Kae Lynch is a whirlwind and a crackerjack!…read more My husband and I became interested in a house listed with Berkshire Hathaway and contacted the listing agent(s). Imagine our delight when despite an international time zone seller, this phenomenal agent was able to get an offer out and back; countered, and a second offer off and accepted in a 24 hour turn around. Then for her encore, Camie got us an immediate inspection of the house, enabling us to provide our earnest money securely; and she made direct contact with our lender to get the ball rolling on our financing. Throughout the 48 hours, Camie quickly executed documents and paperwork, took our phone calls, enabled multiple house viewings, and answered our countless questions; to facilitate a speedy, efficient process. All this, while respecting guidelines for a mean pandemic on behalf of her Nervous Nelly clients! Thank you, Camie. Thank you Berkshire Hathaway Leavenworth Properties. HANNAH ROSE My husband and I were very impressed with Hannah Rose Lynch, when we called to express our interest in a house listed with Berkshire Hathaway. Hannah was very knowledgeable and quickly put in motion our offer, while we bombarded her with a multitude of questions. She meticulously prepared paperwork immediately and worked tirelessly to make sure each document was thorough but dispersed rapidly. Hannah also helped ensure we saw the property as many times as we needed and clipped a quick, efficient pace, coordinating with her associate, Camie Kae. What a great, seamless team. We were delighted with Hannah's friendliness, kind spirit, and keen business sense. Her expertise was very appreciated. Thank you so much, Hannah Rose! Thank you Berkshire Hathaway Leavenworth Properties.
