The complex is always kept spotless by the hard working maintenance crew and the office staff is incredibly responsive and always friendly. After living in the Boston area for the past 30 years, I decided to move closer to my family in Wenatchee. It is a real challenge to rent an apartment from thousands of miles away, so I asked my relatives there to check out some places for me, and they had the good fortune to meet with Kiana at Riverside 9, who showed them the perfect apartment that would be available by my move-in date! Whew! In the following months, every time I called or emailed Kiana, she conveyed all the needed steps and details clearly and replied promptly to any questions. Her friendly and competent manner reassured me and made what could have been a stressful process a pleasant one. When I arrived at the apartment after the long cross-country flight, I was greeted with a welcome gift from Riverside 9 on the kitchen counter: a goody bag with essentials like dish soap and band-aids and a lovely, handwritten note from Kiana. Now, I have rented many apartments in my 60+ years, but this is the first time I have ever seen such impeccable customer service. Unlike some companies increasingly relying on recorded messages and chatbots, the thoughtful human touch is everywhere at Riverside 9, proving it is possible to do well by doing good. Once I finish unpacking, I look forward to joining in some of the fun activities at the complex. I'm fairly happy with living at Riverside 9. Coming from out of state, Riverside 9 was the only place that has constant communication with me. Other apartment complexes in Wenatchee never communicated back to me and looking for living situations on Craigslist was pretty sketchy. I very much appreciate the transparency that the employees at Riverside 9 provided. The whole rental process was very easy and straightforward. Also, it did not take much time and effort. As for the actual living situation, I'm fairly happy with my accomodation. One thing that I really like is that the washer and dryer units are included in your living space. I live in a studio, so while the units are smaller, they are present within my own apartment and do not cost extra quarters. The utilities are fairly nice and easy to use. I haven't had much problems in my living space. If you were to ever have a maintenance problem in your apartment, the on-site maintenance crew is very easy to contact. Also, they are very prompt with completing your needed service. For your apartment, I would be aware of the different options that you could receive. I've seen some rooms that are completely wooden floors, while other rooms have a mix of carpet and wooden floors. There are options for larger windows and balconies. A lot of these options just depend on your personal preference and availability. Also, pets are allowed for an extra $30 a month. The pet fee is about $300 with a $350 deposit on top of your rental deposit. This location is great if you have a dog because the path next to the riverfront is right in your backyard. It's a great place to give your dog its daily walks. I also really enjoy the monthly community events that take place in the main clubhouse. It is a nice way to get to know the Riverside 9 staff, as well as your fellow apartment neighbors. These events usually include some sort of food and networking. Sometimes there are raffle prizes or other prizes you can win. I recommend going to these if you have down time and don't mind meeting a few new people. Just a note, Riverside 9 is a little bit more expensive than other properties in the surrounding area. There are cheaper options available, but the hassle to coordinate them was too much for me. So, this is just another thing to consider if you run on a tight budget. read more

Too expensive...The staff don't answer the phone and take forever to email you back. The apartment wasn't the best. The parking is terrible and there's only 1 assigned spot. The brewery every weekend always has something going on so the customers take up all the street parking and overflow spots. The business downstairs was a lot of traffic coming In an out and you can literally hear everything. There's an obnoxious train that goes by 3-4 times a day and shakes the whole apartment. Everything in the apartment was cheaply made and stuff wasn't running right or just breaking then it takes them few days to a week to come an fix it. The neighbors were obnoxious they would scream,argue, & fight constantly and the cops were always at there door. The first time it happened the one guy had threw glass bottles all over downstairs and stood out where everyone could see him peeing and screaming at the girlfriend. He broke the whole front door where it couldn't even close properly. The property people didn't do anything about it after several complaints. You would think they would've been evicted but there still there. The rent is so expensive for a tiny space and not worth it. If I'm paying that much for rent I expect better quality and less noise around my apartment. If your looking for an apartment these are not the ones. read more

My mother lived in one of the apartments and they raised the rent multiple times during her lease. Even though she paid a deposit, once she left, she was charged thousands of dollars for repairs that should be normal wear-and-tear at any other rental across the country. This is a predatory company and nobody should fall for their terrible contract. read more

It is nice, but the staff is not very helpful. Also, the pricing changes on a daily basis so be prepared to consistently have your rent increase at the end of your lease. The other problem is the staff does not return phone calls in a timely manner. Emails are not returned at all. I was wanting to upgrade my studio to a two bedroom. I was not able to get a return phone call or email for several days. It has been two weeks now and still no return email or phone call. Lastly, the fan motor in my freezer is going bad and making a terribly loud and annoying sound, which has been going on for 2 weeks now. Maintenance said they would have to locate a new part. It has been 3 weeks now with no resolution or communication. For the highest rent prices in Wenatchee, I just expected a little bit better treatment. I would not recommend this place at this point in time. read more

Rent is expensive! There's no parking at all! Staff doesn't answer calls emails. Anything. When we moved in. They failed to tell us that they were closed. Our view is amazing. But our washer and dryer so so Annoying loud. You can't even be in the room when there running. bad water pressure. read more

I've lived here for 18 months and find the staff to be exceptional. Every single person -- the office, maintenance and grounds keeping staff -- has been professional, helpful, friendly and responsive. Anything that needed repair was handled promptly and done well. Riverside 9 is a nice block of apartments by the river. There is a nice trail to walk on and it's a pet friendly living area. The pros are that the buildings are newer and they keep up the grounds pretty well. The main office and that area is nice. The location is nice for walking. They offer several amenities. The cons are that the amenities are rarely available because they like to lock everything and only allow use when they are there and they have limited hours so if you are paying extra for the apartment because of the amenities make sure that you can actually use them. The apartments are expensive! If you get to park a second vehicle it's in an overflow area that isn't as convenient and it can be hard to find room in there. The apartments aren't too noisy (per apartment standards which can be really noisy!) however you can get a fair amount of noise from the cars parked in front of you since you can pull straight up in front of apartments based upon the location. If it wasn't for the cost I would say 4 stars but at the cost a 3 star since you can't use much of the property except for when they respond to your email which can take awhile and when they are around. I would have given this a 5, but I don't like the open parking ( not assigned spots). Also the balcony design has to be the worst of any apartment I've every seen. Not sold floors which means not solid overhead. Need to have a patio umbrella. I do love the apartments themselves very nice and open. Good quality. And you can not beat the location, love being on the river and able to take my dog on nice walks. Very friendly and helpful riverside 9 employees overall loving living here. read more

What a fantastic place to live! Being right on the waterfront is nothing short of amazing. The units are beautiful, the staff is friendly and knows your name (it's a bit like Cheers) and the facilities are wonderful. Though it's a bit pricier than the other options in town, it feels safe, classy, and modern. Bonus: it's really quiet. I love my apartment!! read more
