Had a wonderful experience here at this location. I am pregnant and they were very accommodating with my pregnancy. Everyone was respectful and friendly, and everything was communicated clearly: financial-wise & procedure(s). The cost to be seen was very affordable & getting an appointment was quick and easy process online. Thank you/shoutout to Jamie for being such a welcoming and kind person to me walking-in & out of the office AND over the phone! read more

1. Billing was inconsistent, the refund was delayed, and communication was disappointing; received conflicting information. 2 Poor billing communication and inconsistent refund information. 3. Expected prompt service. Refund delays and mixed information disappointed me. 4. Customer service was polite, but the billing and refund process needs improvement. read more

My experience was just fine. Fast, friendly, competent service. I travel for work, and have been to another Aspen location, and it was also great. My situation both times were emergency situations, but made arrangements to get me in and taken care of. I will say it sad to see a business with negative reviews after negative reviews. It was shocking how many one star negative reviews this place has. And they span years up to present time. read more

I went in with my wife, as we both had pending appointments and upon leaving we spoke with the finance guy about my options. I called numerous times and kept being routed to leave a voicemail, which I did. I waited an hour and called back, finally getting through to someone in the office, just be be told she would leave a note for him to call me back. I waited 2 hours, called back and the answering service person puts me on hold and then comes back on to tell me to leave a voicemail?! What establishment won't answer the phone, won't call you back, tell you to leave a message, and stop answering the phone altogether because it's 15 minutes til closing?? ***Updated Review*** They've now done the most heinous thing ever: I paid for my itemized procedure upfront, then a month later I see a statement saying | owe $278.60 after they essentially billed my insurance again for what they'd already done! I paid and they maxed out my insurance by double billing me, so the insurance kicked it back and I got left on the hook with what they tried billing! This is shady handed under-dealing at its finest, they get you and, don't even think about calling the office, you have a better chance of seeing Jesus than speaking to a live body. Aspen Business Manager We're so sorry to hear about the trouble you're having, Ivan. We have a dedicated team that would be happy to help with billing concerns. Please reach out to them directly at 1-844-296-0187. ***Further Updated Review*** Just when you didn't think it would be any worse, like they're already horrible but have managed to somehow double down on being more horrible! So, I'm now in month 5 and scheduled an appointment for my final dentures. As I previously stated: you absolutely will not EVER get a live person on the phone, (consider yourself lucky or fortunate if you do) so I put in an appointment online and some office worker calls and questions me about what I needed done, then proceeded to tell me the final dentures I prepaid for can't be done due to the double billing balance! Yeah, I paid $5100 upfront for my extractions, temporary dentures, and final dentures but she or they expect me to pay first for what they unscrupulously did! I cannot and will not be denied services I already paid for, but that's the treatment you can expect from this scam of a place. read more

Aspen Dental - A double billing that maxed out my insurance. - Cosmetic Dentists Near Me - Austin, Texas

When I called the office, Andrea was able to schedule an appointment well within my expectations. After a great cleaning and consultation, I scheduled having some dental work done. In just a few days later I found myself in a dental chair with elevated blood pressure and sweating in anticipation of a nasty numbing shot. I was Amazed when Dr Shah said I was done....... It was almost painless !!!! I would come back in a minute and are totally relaxed in Angela and Malvika's care. read more

They did a deep scaling on me after I just had one done here before just to run up the insurance bill. I just called their office again here on the 20th of November and I have been calling weekly since the 1st of November trying to set a date for work to be done that the predetermination had been approved for over a month. I truly wish I had never heard the name Aspen dental, and I regret walking through their door the very first time. That will go down as one of the 10 biggest mistakes I've ever made in my life. read more

Worse Dental Office in Austin Tx 12901 N. Interstate Hwy 35, I was there yesterday for exam. been calling to get quotes and there's no way I can get through been leaving messages and no call backs at all, Not recommended. I've been calling the 512-568-3498 straight to voicemail. read more

This place was horrible and had no idea what they were doing. They're going to fix a denture for me and after the guy did what he supposed to do to make it better it hurt more. It took me a long time and a lot of talk to get my money back and they still did not reimburse me in full. It was a horrible experience. I would recommend that nobody ever go there. read more

The canned response is not cool from whoever puts that in for all I know it's AI. I still haven't got a refund for the scaling I prepaid for. Let's hope they do one thing right. If not well get ready for the reviews. I imagine the Better Business Bureau would be interested in this. And maybe an attorney if I am not refunded. read more

I still can't forgive the female Indian doctor that acted too good to answer a question after making me wait an hour with oral gel in my mouth. I asked her if I can ask a question after the procedure She laughed and said "what do you think is happening here? You're having surgery in your mouth." I laughed along because I didn't realize she was belittling me at the time. So I was like "okay then let me ask you now, my husband is also a patient here and needs some antibiotics, is that possible? He can't be seen until after January due to coverage issues" (ps my husband has language barrier which is why I'm asking on his behalf) The doctor sighs and says "you had all this time and you decide to ask me now?" She starts taking off her gloves "maybe you should ask these questions and I'll come back I start panicking because I already waited an hour on that chair waiting for her to start the procedure and she's punishing me for asking a question. This lady is a bully, she needs to lose her license. read more

Deceptive billing practices. Went in for a cleaning appointment and was told I have to paid first and I do have insurance. Then I have to come back for the 2nd time for the actual cleaning appointment then they asked me to pay again. I told them I already paid and they're like okay you're good togo. Two weeks later, they contacted me and said I still owed money for the cleaning. read more

This office is not a place I'd recommend. In fact the whole company seems quite bizarre. I've had appointments made that were canceled on me for no apparent reason. I've called about others questions and no one seems to be in the office whenever I called. And then when someone did answer they transfer me to another store. It's just a struggle with this company in general. I'm happy I found another dental care provider in north austin that truly cares for people and the overall oral health of their patients and customers. read more

This has to be the worst dentist office in the country. Expect an unbelievable amount of pain for the simplest procedure. They'll ask you to come in an 2 hours early just to make you sit in they're chair until the time of the original appointment. Head doctor treats her patients and coworkers like animals. They will numb your entire face aside from the 1 root they're working on. For your own well being, please avoid this terrible place read more

BUYER BEWARE!! I should have checked the reviews before my visit!! I had stellar service/treatment at the Aspen Dental on Cape Cod, which was why I chose them for my current dental emergency (loose crown). The last appointment of their day, the whole entire office just wanted to leave. I never saw the office manager for over an hour. The dentist gave me a false diagnosis as they wanted/tried to get me to have a costly surgery in their below standard office. The tech was inept and quite clueless as to what she was doing. Both female dentist and office manager were condescending and rude. The office manager informed me, "You have a past due balance!" which was not true, as the only balance I incurred was the one from the current visit. I consulted with a periodontist by phone the day after and was informed that the diagnosis and recommended treatment was entirely false and "most risky" to have performed in an Aspen Dental office. These people are unscrupulous and unethical. They also violated another patient's privacy/HIIPA in my presence. I've reported them to Aspen Dental headquarters (however, they are a franchise) and also to the state agencies that govern them. read more

I went to Aspen 8 months ago after losing a bridge. They then conned me onto 6500.00 dollars' worth of work including bone graphs that were never done. I went back after a week and told them the temp denture was rubbing and causing a sore. The dentist heard this, turned around and left and the front desk person told me I would have to live with it. Six months later they called and said I was ready for my permeant denture. I was then told I had to pay an additional 400.00 dollars before they would continue. When I ask what I had paid for I was told that was only for my 20 minutes in the chair. I ask to speak to the office manager and was informed she would call me back. It never happened. This was not surprising since none of my calls were ever returned. I was told I had a credit on my account of 450.00 dollars and was told they could only return it to the finance company. I told him I had paid them off and basically Michael said "I don't know what you want me to do". This was the worst dental experience in my life. I know posting this will do nothing since they ignore all their one star reviews. Hopefully someone will be saved for making the same mistakes I did. read more

Great experience. They assisted at my time in need and I plan to continue my plan of care with this great team. From the front desk to the tech, hygienist, and the dentist (Dr Patel) were all great and professional. Answered all of my questions and made me feel very comfortable. I will not hesitate to continue may dental needs at this office. read more

This establishment is committing insurance fraud through over-billing and deception. I paid for my son's treatment in full as well as a cleaning that is fully covered by insurance and they're still trying to get more money even though I informed them that cleanings are covered 100% from our dental insurance. The office is refusing to give my son the straightening trays that we've already paid for because they want to give him another cleaning to bill us AND our insurance again. I will be contacting corporate and my insurance company to let them know of this illegal activity. read more

This office got the nerve to disappear summer 2023 when I had to come in and do a filling. I called them several times and they never answered. Never called me to apologize about disappearing on the day of my appointment. THEN a year later they send me a random bill talking about I owe them money for a cleaning where they poked my mouth 8 times to numb me. I'm going to check my payments from that time because I'm positive I paid these people. Because they didn't see me that day in the summer after my cleaning, I actually had to wait longer to get a filling which ended up turning into a root canal. These people are ridiculous. read more

I've read some of the negative reviews and am glad I did not read them before going there, or I might not have gone. I experienced professionalism and genuine kindness from everyone there. In addition, they have the most advanced equipment I've ever seen. It's nothing like it used to be going to the dentist. They create 3-D images of your teeth, and it's truly astounding. If there is anything going on with your teeth, they will see it. I'd like to throw a shout-out to Lilly who asked me to review the office. She made me feel comfortable, which is a bit of a challenge for anyone at a dentist office. I don't go often, because I hate dentist's offices. But, this one seems to be different, and I will be glad to go back. read more

Went in for a tooth extraction and a deep cleaning. The office provided me with a low-ball estimate and failed to get a pre-estimate from my insurance so that I would have an idea as to what was covered and what was not. They told me services were covered that I had to find out the hard way were actually not covered. So, I am left with a bill for over $2000 because they did not do their job. Very shady practices. BEWARE the incompetence of this place! read more

Arrived for my appointment on time this morning only to find out due to system problems They were not seeing any patients today. I drove over an hour each way! I don't understand why I wasn't notified about this the day before. I understand their system was down, but there's always a way to contact people. This is inexcusable. Not good practice! Your patients time is just as valuable as yours. I am an existing patient! So almost a week later, I called to reschedule my canceled appointment. Was told they are still not able to get into their system to make appointments. The work I need to have done has already been paid for and billed to my insurance! How do you run a business this way? read more

I'll start off with saying that all of the technicians and receptionists here were very nice to me. However I came here because my filling had come out of my back molar so I had a giant hole in my tooth for over a month that luckily wasn't causing any pain. I told them this when I made the appointment and when I showed up that I was sure I had some other dental work I needed done but I just wanted to get my filling fixed or at least a temporary fix until I could go to my dentist in my home state. They offered free x rays and dental cleanings for new customers - I got the x rays, never got the free cleaning... then they refused to fix my filling unless I got a crown (upwards of $1,000) and even then they wouldn't do it that day even though I told them exactly what I was coming in for beforehand. But then they gave me a bill for around $13,000 of dental work that I "needed" saying I needed like 6/7 crowns, a root canal, etc etc. so I left in tears with a giant hole still in my tooth, no free cleaning like they promised, and was sent a $30 bill for some cancer screening I did for my mouth. This is now the second dentist I've gone to in Austin that never fixes my initial issue, claims I have tens of thousands of dollars of dental work, and then bills me afterwards anyways. It's cheaper, better, and puts me more at ease to just fly home twice a year to go to my old family dentist who actually knows what he's doing, fixes my problem, and doesn't try to milk out tens of thousands of dollars from me. So thanks for nothing I guess? Also I did not end up needing a crown like they so heavily tried pressuring me to do to fix the hole in my tooth, I just needed another filling. read more

i was seen on an emergency basis and I have insurance. So my total treatment plan was far, far more than most people have on hand at any one time. I wanted to complete treatment for the reason I made the visit and when I didn't want to commit to a line of credit, the office manager became condescending. So I will seek treatment at another office where the staff will actually help you in an emergency without trying to squeeze thousands of dollars out of you on the very first visit. read more

I called in Aspen Dental off Parmer/I35 having excruciating pain, and the office made arrangements to see me the same day. I was prepared to be told that I needed a lot of work to be done due to a number of reasons, negligence being the biggest one, and that's exactly what I was told by Dr. Aanvi. Sadly, due to my past experience with terrible, rushed and careless male dentists, I was really nervous coming into a new office with no personal referral or reference from anyone. I picked this office only because it was close by and I was in so much pain. However, by a rare streak of luck, it was so refreshing to be taken care of by a true professional. Someone who knew immediately what was wrong, took extra care to refer me to other specialists for second opinions and get the work done correctly the first go around!! I was educated and handled with care. I think everyone can agree that dental appointments are not particularly enjoyable, but Dr. Aanvi and her staff took extra care to ensure I was comfortable. They even gave me a blanket and took breaks so I just adjust and relax. I got permanent crowns on their way, and they have a permanent client!! read more

Do not waste your time. Called to book an appointment for a basic cleaning . Even told them that I have braces ..was told that it wouldn't be a problem. But only to first off be given bad directions. Once I did make it in the front desk staff was absolutely amazing... as well as the dental assistant... on the other hand the dentist herself was very unprofessional and rude ! They proceeded to tell me that the hygienist wasn't available to do my cleaning and that I was gonna need my wires removed to get treatment... (which I already knew that) but was told I didn't have to. This place is ridiculous lol ... then on top of all that the Dentist said she didn't want to continue with my exam! And the office manager I assume asked me to reschedule at another location.. like really! I politely said no thanks and left. I ended up scheduling an appointment with my children Dental office instead. Way better service and the Dentist there are professionals and have a friendly vibe and character. read more

Needed periodontal work done -- had the work completed in Dec. but opted to get a second opinion for the other work recommended. The second quote came in at a fraction of the cost of Aspen's. In addition, the periodontal work was done so poorly, it needed to be redone and wouldn't be covered by insurance. I spoke to the office manager and the corporate office. I received no phone calls from either. Now they're billing me for $350 not covered by insurance for work that had to be performed again. Quality of work and customer service is poor - I strongly recommend using another dentist. read more
