The staff HAD ME WAITING almost 2 hours ,,and after taking x-rays,they made me wait another 30 minutes! Instead of starting any dental work, they took me to their "financial advisor"office,,(Sheila?)she tells me that I would have to pay $2,100! Supposedly,My insurance wouldn't cover*Eye Roll*..SCAM ARTISTS! I had already verified with my insurance before coming to this office! I had my 4 wisdom teeth removed in one session and the procedure sucks but the healing process went great. The oral surgeon knows exactly what he is doing and he did a great job. I was very nervous for this procedure but he informed me about what he was going to do and made me feel Comfortable during the procedure by letting me Listen to my music. STAY AWAY AT ALL COST. THIS DENTIST OFFICE IS FULL OF SCAM ARTIST AND WILL TRY TO CHARGE YOU FOR THINGS YOU DONT NEED DONE. Long story short, i came in with excruciating pain and was told multiple times i would be getting a root canal. I waited 3 hours in a room chair with a numb jaw just to be told i was only going to get medicine applied to my tooth since they were closing. I came in at 1 and was rushed out at 4:30 after paying $100 to start the root canal process. Noor was completely rude and told me she would give me money back after telling me she wouldn't be able to do my root canal. WITH AND ATTITUDE SHE TOLD ME I COULD DO WHATEVER I WANT AND THREW HER HANDS UP AND WALKED AWAY MID CONVERSATION LIKE A CHILD HAVING A TANTRUM. She allowed me to sit there for 3 hours in pain and decided to turn the lights out as all of her co workers left. I wasted my time coming here. Also, after numbing me, Noor rushed to the back area to sing happy birthday with her co workers and was having endless conversations laughing and goofing around as i sat in my chair with a mouth full of spit. She does sound like a car salesman trying to convince you of work that needs to be done and trying to up sell you on everything. She is only in it for the money and when you can't afford to pay a big portion up front she has an attitude and then she is on to the next patient. read more

We were forced to find any available dentist open on a Saturday due to my husband experiencing pain in a tooth. They said they accepted our insurance and also allowed payment plans and told us to come in. We have excellent insurance but because it's Saturday, they couldn't call to confirm my coverage, etc. even after I provided them a copy of my insurance card and a tool from the insurance app that shows our benefit, and cost estimator given specific dental codes. They wanted to do X-ray, root canal, crown build up and CT scan for $3600. I don't know if that all seems like accurate pricing but my gut tells me not. I asked if that was with my insurance. They were strict about NOT using our insurance and that we had to pay in full. Now, they know they have the upper hand here cause my husband is in pain. So then I asked what about the payment plan? They said no. Has to be paid in full and stressed "no insurance." Seems pretty shady and extremely frustrating. They said they wouldn't deal with that [insurance]. I'm so bothered with the inconsistency of what they first tell you to when you're sitting in the chair, in pain, and stuck with getting it done or walking out in pain. Just be cautious with this place. They tried telling my husband the tooth under his temp crown had a crack. So they strongly recommend they fix it there same day. Only an additional $1500. Again they refused to use the insurance. We declined and they seems very irritated and half assed the rest of their work. I definitely won't be returning! We ended up going back to our dentist to complete the permanent crown that was originally started and they said this dentist we saw on a Saturday (Norwalk Village Dental) are only open Saturdays to prey on those in desperate need on a Saturday when most dentists are closed. read more

I wish there were a no stars review. This woman is a charlatan. I responded to an ad of hers because I thought she was a "same day" implants facility that was offering a discounted rate. When I called, she actually got on the call, but she told me that she could not even give me a ballpark cost on the phone, but that she would give me a free evaluation. (free was your word) (I had already gotten 2 consults for $50K, so I was asking her to tell me if she might be less. The inference in her telling me to go there was that maybe she would be less) I went to see her. The young man who checked me in said I had to get xrays and that I would have to pay for them ($150) but the doctor would give me my money back. He then took my history, too. He repeated that history to the doctor inaccurately right in front of me. Dr. Noor then examined me, and told me the implants would be $50K (same cost as every other dentist) and that I should have my children pay for them(!!) I have yet to get my refund of $150. I have emailed, called, and tried to get my insurance involved (they sent her $300+!). I am now giving up. $150 is a lot of money to me--it's about 2 weeks food budget--but the anger and frustration and sadness that attempts to get the refund they owe me stir up in my are not worth it. I was so scared to go to the Dentist and that is why I had stayed away for so long until I decided it was time to go and I am so happy that I came to Dr. Noor. She is such a caring person and she treated me with such compassion and professionalism. Dr. Noor made me feel so confident I would be able to get all the work I needed done and she gave me back my smile and confidence! I am so grateful for all the work she did and especially during the Covid pandemic. She takes great care of her patients and she really cares about your Dental health. I don't like writing bad reviews for a place - especially in this climate but I feel I do need to be honest about my experience. I went to see Dr. Noor 30 min away because I saw an ad for her and wanted to support dentists from my community. I previously saw a dentist 1 min down the road... and he was great and I will likely go back to him. But anyhow, I went in, and when asked what my concern was, I stated tooth whitening and deep clean. Well somehow I was led to take impressions for invisalign and an appointment for a cleaning took three hours. Dr. Noor stated these liners to straighten my teeth would be covered by my insurance but then two weeks later I received a bill for 1000k+. I feel very pushed. I never did get any information or solution on teeth whitening. The entire staff was kind and good at their job but Dr. Noor did seem to be forceful in getting one to get work done on their teeth. She had me schedule appointments for me and my daughter while I was in the middle of getting the cleaning.. it was so weird.. and after I canceled all future appointments, I've still been getting texts, and emailing reminding me of upcoming appointments. I'm really baffled at the way the business is working.. I would not recommend this dentist unfortunately. read more

I purchased a certificate for free teeth whitening for this place and when I called I was told that I would need to get my teeth checked first so I did. I arrived and after showing me their massage chairs and other amenities that have nothing to do with dentistry but make them a small profit, I waited in the lobby. Already something about the place didn't feel right. After a long wait, I was taken to my chair and looked at. To my surprise, I was told that I have 3 cavities and they need to be taken care of before the whitening. It shocked me because I've only had one cavity in my life. She wanted to take care of it immediately but I wanted a second opinion. She tried to pressure me into the procedure for the next ten minutes before I finally told her I was leaving and started walking out. She said I could have the whitening w/o it if I would sign some form but by this time I wasn't about to let them touch my teeth. What the fuck I know I like my candy and once in a while and when I get completely shitfaced i can barely stumble into bed let alone brush my teeth but DAMN, every fucking tooth has decay?! ATTENTION: This dentist has complaints against her with the Dental Board of California and is on probation. Too bad I can't give this dental office a 0 rating... I would not recommend this dentist to anyone. Dr. Noor and her team are a ripoff. She is a bully and pressures people into treatment. I sorely regret agreeing to any dental treatment. After we left that same day that we went in for a consultation, after being there for 5 hours, I regretted it instantly. I called to cancel my appointment. Come to find out, she billed my insurance company and has continued to do so every single month for orthodontic treatment that was NEVER done. Although they know they should not have received that money because they didn't earn it, they keep cashing every single check. My insurance company is currently trying to get that money back from her. In addition to that, they kept trying to also collect money from me. I have spoken to her staff many times over the last 4 months and every time I spoke to them, there was a different story. I kept asking for a detailed invoice of whatever it is they wanted to collect from me, and they kept promising over and over again to mail it to me. They never sent anything. I found out (too late) that Dr. Noor's license was revoked and she is on probation due to a complaint she has against her with the Dental Board of California. I wish I had done my homework before I stepped foot in that office. Do not make the same mistake I did. She will lie, try to scare you, and do anything she can to get you to let her do work and then overcharge you and milk the insurance company on top of that. She won't speak to me and didn't face me when I went into her office to try to settle this matter. She likes to have all her employees do the dirty work for her. The biggest mistake of 2010 for me. I will NEVER go to this dentist again and I will tell everyone I can to beware. I do not recommend her one bit. Check her complaints on the Dental Board of California's website for yourself. I came here a couple of years back... THANKFULLY I did not pay for this... Got the same service at another dentist for much cheaper than what they quoted me. From their own mouths - "You'd be surprised what you could get away with by being nice to someone." -- So watch their friendly smiles... Ever read hansel and gretel? The office is filled with "comfort", and "spa" type experience to distract you from them taking you for everything you have an then some. A nice sugar house with pleasant smiles. Dr. Noor has absolutely no integrity as an individual, and will whole-heartedly lie to your face about how many cavities you have and how if you don't get work done very very VERY soon with her, your teeth will decay, and how you probably wouldn't make it an extra few weeks at this point without them falling out, etc.. (nonsense).. she shows you all these pictures to scare you, etc.. while she is very nice herself.. because of course your paying for her Mercedes. I've been to multiple dentists before and since I went to her, and nobody has ever recommended braces to me, but Dr. Noor was trying to sell them to me as if they were absolutely necessary. After getting a second opinion I only had 3 cavities and two wisdom teeth she wanted to charge me for four teeth after having X-rays done the dentist told me I didn't even have top wisdom teeth, also It only costed $800 for both teeth and I was put under anesthesia and they were surgically removed. She clearly is out for money charging me for things I don't have and wanting to surgically remove my teeth which had to be drilled and broken to pieces without anesthesia. I sat with her for 30 mins and she said that I need to have a bridge and bracelets and if I signed the paper now she will give me $1000 discount. When I told her that I need time to think she threatened that this offer will not be available next time. As others have written here, I too would give this "dentist" no stars, if possible... A representative of Ms. Noor's came to my work, to let us know of her "services", which I thought was convenient, as they were covered by my work's dental plan. Once at my "appointment" however, the experience was quite disappointing... The X-rays hurt, as my mouth is fairly small, but the technician, though not very skilled, seemed to be a truly kind person, as many of the staff seemed to be, except for Ms. Noor. I found her to be, behind her "nice" smiling veneer, quite pushy towards me & the employee who took my X-rays. She was abusive in her manner, rushing the technician through the viewing of the slides. I found it disturbing that they took a photo of me smiling that they altered & used to show me what my teeth would look like with veneers (unnecessary & fake looking). Ms. Noor gave off the vibe of a 'used car salesperson' in pushing veneers. I felt preyed upon as well, with her talking about teeth color, when I had come there for my dental health, & began to feel that I could not trust her, that she did not have my best interest in mind, but rather profits. I had taken for granted that I had good teeth basically in my life previously, so I unfortunately had not been to the dentist in some time & was told I needed a deep cleaning, which I believe was true, but no one was there during my appointment who could do that job: very inconvenient. I was dissuaded from a regular cleaning, so thankfully I opted out of that, as I think it was best that I found another dentist. I was asked to sign up for CareCredit, even though I had dental insurance. That did not feel right. I am sorry that I wasted my time & that Ms. Noor got any insurance reimbursement from that visit, though I am grateful that I trusted my gut, had no other service beyond X-rays & went elsewhere... As it seems others did not fare as well in their experiences with her. I was contacted many times after that by Ms. Noor &/or her staff & that felt desperate & disingenuous. I let her know of my experience & disinterest & she did offer an apology & an attempt to give me a different experience, but I trusted how I felt & declined... & seeing all these reviews that ring so true here (except for the stark contrast of five-star reviews, which seem phony), I am so relieved I did. My only regret is that she scared me off of dentists for the first time in my life & it was some time until I finally got that deep cleaning with an appropriate dentist for me... I wish I had gone sooner. This was some time ago now, but I had gotten another phone solicitation from Ms. Noor's office, so it all came up in my mind again & I finally recently thought of Yelp for warning others about my experience with this particular business. I also find Ms. Noor's &/or her team's responses to customers' negative reviews insincere & the word 'narcissism' comes to mind... It's all a façade. Bad karma. I care about my teeth. Deeply. And I care about my teeth health as much as any other part of my health. That's why I came to Dr. Noor's Dental. I'm new to Los Angeles, and I checked and located Dr. Noor's office. From when I walked in the door to when I left I felt supported and cared for. The cleaning itself was expertly done, and I learned more about my all around dental health than I have from any other dental appointment. I'd specifically like to send gratitude to Dr.Noor, who cleaned my teeth and talked me through some things I was worried about. Also, I received more detailed and direct advice than "you should floss more," although that was part of it. I didn't have a lot of problems with my teeth, but I feel motivated to be as clean and healthy as possible... In short, I've found my Dental Home Base in Norwalk. She is the worst. I spent the worst 5years of my life here. I would have left sooner, but I was stuck here because of braces. Braces that they told me would take two years, ended up taking five. Let me tell you about the consultation, she made me cry. At 13/14 years old she made me cry, because she over exaggerated how bad my teeth would get without braces, this was so that we were rushed to start treatment with her. The first few visits were fine, but they progressively got worse and worse. Her rude and unpleasant behavior came out. She had new people work on me constantly which I understand everyone needs to learn at some point, but when they are not being guided properly and are left alone to do it, that is when problems and discomfort arrive. Throughout my years, I only had two people who I felt comfortable with, and one left that terrible place.. Lucky her. Dr. Noor did show skill, however, she would take shortcuts and had terrible costumer service. She threw and plopped down tools on my chest, and would be talk to you in a condescending tone. Once I switched to another dentist, that dentist even asked if I got my work done in Tijuana. She left cement all over my teeth and did a shotty job. Please DO NOT GO HERE! All they care about is money and not your well being. Completely disgusting attitudes. So I came here for my yearly check up. I got an offer off of living social and decided to go since it was local. The offer included x ray, dental exam, and polishing. None of which was done. When I arrived for my appointment, there was no one else in the waiting room. So I figured I would go in asap. NOPE! once I signed in, I let them know I was there because I had an offer off living social. The bad attitude came immediately afterwards. She asked me three separate times during my sign in how much I had paid, to which I did not answer because I had bought my voucher months before and didn't remember the price. After waiting an hour, I was finally let inside for a tour of the office. Once inside they brought me to a small dark office where they talked about my history. I had an employer letter I needed filled out for my dental exam and so it was brought up during this time, but they refused to fill it out. Because I was only paying for the basic dental exam not the full one. I didn't make a fuss about it, and I continued so that i could atleast receive x rays & polish. During my x rays the tech only took 3 photos (which they never showed me) and then took pictures with an Ipad, which I'm still confused as to what that was for. Shortly after , the DR. Walked in to talk to me. She said she wouldn't be doing the polish because I had gum disease. I was confused because I take good care of my teeth. So when I asked her what she meant, she said I had a Crocked front tooth and that it was causing my gums to thin out, and that I would eventually lose my front tooth! I'm 22 years old, I've gone to the dentist my entire life, no dentist has ever told me i had gum disease just because my front tooth was Crocked. After that she kicked me out of my room, and made me go to a room at the end of the hall. During which time they sent a younger inexperienced tech to show me pictures of people with gum disease to scare me into paying for a deep cleaning. After all the horror pictures, the DR. Came back with the nerve to tell me i had to pay for a deep cleaning asap. I finally had enough. I went there for three things, three things I had already paid for and I didn't receive any of them. Why on earth was I going to hand them over more money. I walked out. I told them thank you for wasting my time, I will not be back. This is for anyone out there looking for a new dentist, I'm on the same boat with you. It's hard. I should have read reviews before stepping foot into that office. If one person reads this and decided not to go i did my job. They will treat you like crap and encourage you to get services you don't need in order for them to make a profit. Dr. Asmath Noor is so caring! Her and her staff genuinely care about the well being of the patients that she treats. I am a diabetic and my blood sugar was getting low and they offered me orange juice and food. The staff are very positive, well trained and very informative. They have great customer service skills and the treatment is exceptional. I honestly do not like coming to dentists but Dr. Asmath Noor made my experience the best ever! Dr. Noor has an amazing staff, Claudia Sheila Dr Pushba (probably spelled that wrong) you guys are the only reason I kept coming back. But Dr. Noor, wow, you are soo rude & unprofessional it amazes me. No bedside manner, obnoxiously pushy and egocentric. I tried to look past your behavior but unfortunately enough is enough.
