Fortunately, I was referred to Brodsky Orthodontics. When I saw Joel, he was completely upfront with me. He gently asked why I was even there with that retainer, explaining that it wasn't going to straighten my teeth at all, it would only hold them in their current, shifted position. While I was annoyed that my previous provider had me pay for a retainer that couldn't fix the issue, I was incredibly relieved to have landed at Brodsky. Joel was honest, clear, and walked me through everything every step of the way. My entire experience was amazing. I'm so excited to start my Invisalign journey with them, and I've already recommended them to my sister! If you are looking for an orthodontist for yourself or your kids, or if you're looking for a place to recommend to a friend, this is absolute top-tier local care. He took the time to explain to me not just what his recommendations were, but the WHY behind them; I didn't feel rushed as I asked follow up questions, which I really appreciated. His staff was very friendly, patient, quick to respond to messages, made my child feel at ease, welcome, and part of the process. Even though it's a 40min drive each way for our appointments, and my insurance doesn't cover orthodontics, this was clearly the right choice based on the treatment plan, as it actually made sense, and my child's treatment requiring more than just braces throughout the process. They also offer interest free financing. My recommendation is to consult 2-3 providers before making a final decision, but definitely make Dr. Brodsky one of them.

We were referred to Dr. Doulaverakis (do-LAH-ver-AA-kis) by our kid's normal dentist because it…read morebecame evident early on that his mouth was too narrow as his permanent teeth coming up were all over the place. On the initial consultation, staff took photos and measurements and then the Dr. came in to do an evaluation, explain what she sees is the issue and proposes the plan of action. I thought whoever saw my kid's snaggleteeth would immediately say "BRACES. NOW!", but Dr. D said that they would first approach this with trying to make enough room with a palatal expander that would widen the upper jaw. Once the upper jaw is widened, the lower follows suit on its own (had no idea about this...you really do learn something new every day!). If that didn't correct the issue, they would recommend next steps...braces perhaps. So the doc explained everything and provided a timeline and cost schedule for this initial treatment. She did a very good job of thoroughly explaining everything, breaking down what the costs include, and was patient with all of my questions. Dr. D has very good rapport with my young son, so he's not afraid of checkups here. Front of office staff and dental assistants have all been very friendly, kind, and helpful whenever we've had an appointment. During Halloween season they would hide a little ghost stuffed animal somewhere in the office and if your child finds it and tells reception, they receive extra entries into a monthly drawing. Each month they hold drawings for neat prizes and gift cards. Also, once you start getting services here they give you a Dr. Ortho t-shirt, and if you come in your tee to your appt, you receive extra entries. Fun for the kiddos! Orthodontia is def not inexpensive, but when necessary it's nice to go to a Dr. that you are confident in and one whose office is clean and comfortable with staff that are helpful, capable, and kind. I would most definitely recommend Dr. Doulaverakis to someone wanting a referral to an orthodontist.

In the early months of 2026, I went in for our routine cleaning. I've been bringing my family to this office since 2023, and during that visit I was suddenly told I owed $85 for services dating back to 2023, 2024, and 2025. My question is: why am I just now hearing about this years later? Every time we visit, the front office makes sure payment is collected before we leave. You don't walk out without settling your balance. They told me this balance was discovered during an audit, but that explanation doesn't make much sense when these charges supposedly go back several years. To make matters worse, I now receive frequent calls from their collection company, and the amount isn't even consistent. Sometimes they say I owe $85, and other times it's $87.75. Which amount is actually correct? I typically pay with cash, so it's frustrating to suddenly be told I owe money years after the fact. I don't know whether there was a bookkeeping error or something else happened, but the billing process has been handled very poorly. Being contacted by collections over a balance that was never brought to my attention at the time of service is both frustrating and unprofessional. The dental care deserves praise, but the billing practices have left me questioning whether I can continue bringing my family here. I hope the office improves its accounting and communication so other patients don't experience the same.

They took his x rays and literally said 1 sentence to my husband that 3 crowns were needed and disappeared. He couldn't ask any questions and was pushed to the front where they push cost estimates of about 2.1k cash out of pocket with laughing gas. When I call to complain, the receptionist ask if we could wait 2 wks for another dentist. I said no, so she moved me to wait for 1 wk and said that this dentist was better than Dr. Vu. On top of that the original receptionist said cleaning was provided and my kid did not get that. 2nd receptionist said that cleaning was not. Both of me and my husband did not misheard it the first time. Thats one of the reason why we pick this in the first place. His regular dentist finally came back from vacation and we took our kid there for 2nd opinion. Wowww this place misdiagnosed his teeth. He did not need 3 crowns. 2 crowns will be needed at a later date but the 3rd teeth was misdiagnosed. Dentist never even touch each individual teeth and thought the one with the uv sdf stain was a bad teeth. Sloppy, unprofessional and would have caused my son to lose a perfectly good teeth. Should have known this place was bad as even the address is incorrect on here. Its not East South st guys. Just South st. We let at least 2 ppl know from this dental office to change and it's still not change from here. Smh all around! With care this bad, I should have gotten my money back ughh. Don't waste ur time. Go somewhere else.

I am very happy with Humphries Orthodontics; I literally look forward to my braces appointments constantly! Their environment is very friendly and everyone is just as invested as you are (if not more) to get you your best smile. I came in with an 8.7mm gap between my two front teeth along with some much needed corrections on my bottom teeth two years ago. I never imagined seeing myself the way I am now! I'm at the final stages of my braces treatment and I am so happy with my new smile! My gap is genetic & I've had it all my life, so I was a bit skeptical of the anticipation of my results at first, in addition to having to go through the growing pains of my teeth having to find its place. (My gap actually grew to 13mm while my teeth were straightening, but that's just how biology works.) But actually seeing the progress I've made and how far I've come with Humphries Ortho really made a difference in my life. I can't stop staring at my teeth! & everyone is always so happy to see my progress at each visit! I always have a ton of questions and both Dr. Humphries's patience with me and my inquiries always adds more confidence to the process. Thanks so much Humphries Ortho! Amazing staff! The front office is always so welcoming. The girls in the back are always friendly, quick and constantly asking if you are doing ok. I love how I rarely have to wait and how they get you in and out as quickly as possible. I also loved how even though I would go weeks without seeing them, Dr. Sage and Dr. Aileen always pick off where they left off as if they were your own friends lol for example, I had issues with my invisalign but Dr. Sage was determined to correct the issue and he did. I am now done and very satisfied and actually a little sad that I would be seeing the staff on a regular basis like I was. When i came to Humphries they asked me what i wanted to achieve and i said a perfect smile. They told me in 24-30 months i would be walking out of there with a perfect smile. 26 months later, i walked out the doors with a perfect smile. I got pretty familiar with everybody, i would come in and say hi to everyone on the way to the chair. It was like saying whats up to my friends. But beyond the comforting hospitality they are professionals who do expert work and deliver in the time they said they would. I came in wanting a perfect smile and that is exactly what i got. Highly recommended if you're thinking of getting orthodontics treatment! They have state-of-the-art technology and superior customer service. Dr. Humphries and his team are very professional and accommodating. Dr. Humphries himself is very knowledgeable, innovative, and a perfectionist type. If your orthodontist say your case is too complicated for Invisalign, consult with him, and you will most likely get a different answer. In terms of appointments, they're usually on the schedules. Only once in a while my treatment time took longer than anticipated because they're extremely busy. But overall my experience with them was very pleasant and I'm excited with the results. read more

Wow! What can I say? This orthodontic office is definitely the best. I couldn't imagine if I got my braces anywhere else. I've been a patient at the office for almost two years and I just got my braces off. Dr. Humphries and the entire staff were incredible accommodating and helpful to get my braces off in time for my senior pictures. There is no place that would be willing to go the extra mile like this office. I've been coming to Dr. Humphries for a little less than 2 years now, and what he and his GREAT team of assistants have been able to do to my new straight teeth smile is nothing short of remarkable! The whole team from the ladies in front to the assistants in the back are the nicest staff I've ever met and that goes beyond just dental places I've been. Easy to get an appointment, easy to reschedule, multiple locations, and they do whatever they can to get you in that chair at a time that's convenient to you and your schedule. I came in wanting the Invisalign and started my treatment in April 2021 and was able to finish my treatment in Sept 2022 (as long as you continually wear your retainers). First I was pressures to get the crown when I felt perfectly fine, no symptoms. NOTHING! She was said the filled cavity was "too big" so what?! I had no pain... until... she put the new crown, no root canal just a new crown. Struggling to even put it on... left a hunk of cement in between my teeth. I was feeling a lot of nerve pain that even shot over to the other side of my mouth. I called the dentist and they kept saying it was just an adjustment period. I've had crowns and this was never the case. Long story short they said they are going to refer me to a root canal specialist that goes to their office. Red flag! After a month of pain and waiting he ends up saying it's normal pressure sensitivity. Stupid me just wanting to not have a root canal drilled into my new crown( what kinda backwards dentistry practice is this! ) yeah! You heard that right! She was telling me I might need a root canal after she put a brand new crown on) the "root canal specialist" ended up saying I don't need one. Probably just covering for her....but I was just happy to get out of there. I was/am soooo traumatized... Now I need to find a new hopefully trustworthy dentist...ps I was so traumatized I have not gone back to a dentist since 2 years. The pain finally subsided after 6 months probably because my nerve endings finally died.... I'm so upset.... So much money wasted just cuz this greedy dentist wanted to make money on a crown that wasn't even needed in the first place. First red flag was the secretary was having me sign papers for payment before I was even out of the chair! Also, she suggested Invisalign which would have been another 3-5 thousand for two measly crooked teeth I have. Who cares?! I'm not trying to be a model... Awful awful praying on peoples vulnerabilities and fears when going to the dentist.. so hard to find a good one. like I said, I don't really want to write this review but after my expensive crown popped out after two years???!!!! For reference I have another crown that is 20 years old. For your sake and your wallets sake! DO NOTcome here. Scammers and bad quality work Pps... When our daughter needed six fillings years ago, Dr. Bui made the experience painless and reassuring. She used laughing gas, which she's certified in, and avoided general anesthesia--something other dentists were recommending. We appreciated that thoughtful approach and have trusted her ever since. Scheduling is easy, and the office runs smoothly. Whether it's a routine cleaning or a more involved procedure, we always feel well cared for. And here's a fun detail: Dr. Bui has the perfect height for a dentist--she works comfortably without needing to slouch, which you don't always get with taller dentists. He took the time to answer every one of my questions, (and I had many) without making me feel rushed, and he was honest about what he knew versus what couldn't be determined until treatment begins. That level of transparency meant a great deal to me. I came into my appointment feeling overwhelmed and anxious after receiving very different opinions elsewhere. Instead of rushing to a conclusion, Dr. Wu carefully reviewed everything, explained my options, and developed a thoughtful, conservative plan based on preserving as much healthy tooth structure as possible. I truly appreciated that his recommendations were guided by what was best for me--not by the most aggressive treatment. While this was only my first visit, I left feeling hopeful instead of defeated.
