I once jokingly told an office manager that in my opinion, dentists aren't allowed in Heaven because they're crooks. Just my opinion, of course., I discovered Healthy Smiles through my GPS when I searched for dentists nearby., What I found at Healthy Smiles was truly exceptional. The place is professional, honest, and rare in its quality., Unlike some of my previous experiences, I wasn't frightened or coerced into a treatment plan. I felt like my concerns were genuinely listened to.,Dr. Jacklyn Nargas, the dentist, really blew me away with her attitude. She's just really nice. Mayra, the office manager, played a big role in convincing me to make an appointment. Her willingness to answer all my questions, including those about costs, impressed me and led me to schedule an appointment for the next morning., As a person with disabilities, I always prefer exceptional service, and that's exactly what I received at Healthy Smiles. Office hours are not up to date on here, Google, or their website. Had a cavity filling complication over the weekend and tried calling at opening on Monday to no answer. Drove by this morning at 10 to the lot closed and no signage outside as to why (it's not a holiday either). I get that offices sometimes have days where they're closed for one reason or another, but please either update your website or voicemail to mention it. I ended up having to call my insurance to get an emergency assignment to another dentist to get taken care of and had to pay for another filling instead of having it covered by the office I got it from. Also, at my first ever visit, I didn't appreciate the receptionist trying to upsell me Invisalign or a mouth guard before a dentist had a chance to even looked into my mouth. I let it slide, but really wanted to try this place a couple of times before deciding since it had decent ratings. read more

I knew that I needed an implant for some time, and I had been shopping around without luck until finding Healthy Smiles. This place is small and personal, not the usual mill. I felt at ease to ask my questions, and I was put on the surgery schedule the following day. Dr Tang was the BEST. He made me feel at ease and worked well with his assistant. Came in for my first consultation came in just testing the waters to see what I needed since I hadn't seen a dentist for quite a bit definitely for my first time had a great experience with the person that did my x-rays very informative on everything and every question I asked she answered. If i could give this dental office a 0 stars i would. I called to make an appointment and they offered me an appointment for the following week. I also asked Jacky if i needed a Deep cleaning if I could do it the same day if needed and she said "Yes of course" . Before hanging up the phone, Jacky asked me to call my insurance and tell them to send over the fee schedule to my insurance . That should of been the first red flag ,but i still decided to go in still since i have HMO and i was assigned there. I didn't know that it was the patients job to call their own insurance and ask them to send it over to the office through fax. i went in at 11am for only xrays and exam and they didn't explain my treatment to me I waited until 1:30 and still they had me waiting on the xray chair. There was nobody in the back only me alone because everyone went to lunch even the doctor. I asked them if they were gonna take longer and they said they were on the phone with my insurance. Not sure why this office took so long to verify my insurance when they should of done it at least at day before. So i had to leave so i left . Before leaving they explained to me that they will call me later that day to explain the treatment plan. Instead i got a text message at the end if the day which was on a Thursday that shes sorry ,but shes going to have to call me that coming Tuesday to explain my treatment to me threw the phone. I was so confused and worried. I felt like they were avoiding me and i felt so uncomfortable. I didn't receive any calls or text messages that tuesday they were supposed to "CALL" Me so i ended up calling them twice and the girl with the blonde hair with botox i believe her name is Mayra said that she was gonna call me back to explain my treatment plan to me, instead i told her to just email me my treatment plan and she did but there printer was running out of ink so i could hardly see the codes and treatment i need . DONT GO TO THIS OFFICE. Its a waste of time and money . I still don't know what my treatment plan is and they haven't even tried calling me or anything for a follow up.
