Great experience at Norwalk dental center. The staff is amazing , very friendly and professional,…read moreand they made me feel comfortable right away. Dr. David is an excellent doctor. I went in with a lot of pain in my molar and was very nervous about getting it removed. He removed my molar, and it was nothing like I expected. No pain at all. The process was quick and smooth. Highly recommend this office!

The technique he used to distract me from feeling the novocaine injection is remarkable. One of a kind. Very successful in avoiding any painful discomforting issues. For a dentist to create his own technique in trying not to inflect painful injections, show to me how caring, considerate and pride in his work. This leads me to actually leaving my anxiety at his front door as I enter his dental office. Trusting him more and more after each visit. My next appointment was for a new cap for my upper front tooth. Once again Dr. David did his unique distraction ritual and painlessly injected my upper front tooth area. This time it was better than the previous one only because the upper jaw area is more sensitive than the lower. So I was expecting some needle injection pain but there was not much. Remarkable! I joked around with the doctor and his attentive assistant Lemmy, that he must have used the "tiny needle" because I hardly felt anything. Dr. David Doan is truly an outstanding dentist!

DOCTOR EZZATI DOES NOT RESPECT YOUR TIME!! I went in for 2 scheduled appointments and let the…read morereceptionist know I had to leave by certain time which I mentioned when they confirmed the appointments. After waiting 15 minutes I asked the receptionist what is the estimated wait time, she was unable to give me time frame but very rudely mentioned they were only waiting for doctor in order to call them in. The manager was right there and acted like she couldn't hear the tone of voice the receptionist used and didn't offer to find out the doctors ETA. After being called back 36 minutes after scheduled appointment X-rays are badly taken(no molars or teeth apex shown) by assistant we must wait another 10 minutes wile Dr.Ezzati walks back and forth looking lost until she finally starts seeing patients. In this time assistant did polish and fluoride however we had to leave before exams were completed because Dr. Ezzati was ignoring her patients and giving priority to her documentation, well knowing she had many patients waiting. I should also mention we will not be coming back because if they were to have an OSHA audit I'm sure they would not pass. In the time I was there I observed the assistants do not change their gloves after touching hoses that are on the floor, they do not change their masks per patient, so all the germs from previous patients go to the next patient. They have no barriers on any chairs or lights or commonly touched surfaces. Water and HVE lines are not being flushed in between patients so again bacteria and debris transfer patient to patient! And the assistant is wearing crocs not closed toed shoes!

I once jokingly told an office manager that in my opinion, dentists aren't allowed in Heaven because they're crooks. Just my opinion, of course., I discovered Healthy Smiles through my GPS when I searched for dentists nearby., What I found at Healthy Smiles was truly exceptional. The place is professional, honest, and rare in its quality., Unlike some of my previous experiences, I wasn't frightened or coerced into a treatment plan. I felt like my concerns were genuinely listened to.,Dr. Jacklyn Nargas, the dentist, really blew me away with her attitude. She's just really nice. Mayra, the office manager, played a big role in convincing me to make an appointment. Her willingness to answer all my questions, including those about costs, impressed me and led me to schedule an appointment for the next morning., As a person with disabilities, I always prefer exceptional service, and that's exactly what I received at Healthy Smiles. I'll definitely be coming back with my family from now on., A big thank you to Dr. Jacklyn Nargas and her staff. I love your office and your team!,And to anyone reading this, if you visit Healthy Smiles, let them know that 'Walt', the tall guy who had deep cleaning and antibiotics injected, sent you. Drove by this morning at 10 to the lot closed and no signage outside as to why (it's not a holiday either). I get that offices sometimes have days where they're closed for one reason or another, but please either update your website or voicemail to mention it. I ended up having to call my insurance to get an emergency assignment to another dentist to get taken care of and had to pay for another filling instead of having it covered by the office I got it from. Also, at my first ever visit, I didn't appreciate the receptionist trying to upsell me Invisalign or a mouth guard before a dentist had a chance to even looked into my mouth. I let it slide, but really wanted to try this place a couple of times before deciding since it had decent ratings.

The moment when we walked in there, something just did not feel right. We were asked to fill out the paperwork and when I went back to the receptionist to ask a couple questions about the paperwork, they seemed annoyed with me for even asking. We waited for a while and then finally someone came and called my mom's name, but they were not friendly with us. I was like OK whatever. To get her x-rays, we had to wait like 30 minutes until all of the patients before us got their x-rays first. I was like, then why did they ask us to come in? The dentist didn't even look at my mom, I don't even remember her ever greeting her. The interpreters weren't not good, mumbling things in Spanish. I didn't want to intervene, but it was so bad that I told them, you know what I'll take it from here. And I explained everything with care and patience to my mom myself. Because we were unfamiliar with the process to pay for partial dentures (upper and lower), which by the way, the price tag was $7,000 after my mom's insurance kicked in, I asked more questions and I asked them to explain the process to me one more time before we committed. Again, they seemed annoyed. I did not feel they were patient at all and I could tell that they were trying to be. But trying to be patient is not good enough when you are working with new patients nervous, sensitive, or elderly. I should've seen this coming since I made the appointment over the phone. They were just unfriendly. Overall, my experience at this dentistry was unpleasant. The staff was cold, impatient and impersonal.
