DO NOT -- and I mean DO NOT -- go to this place. If you look at all their reviews, you'll notice they're mostly about how nice the employees are -- not about the actual quality of their work. That's because they have customers fill out reviews in exchange for being entered into a drawing. My friend went here to get his teeth examined, and the dentist made it seem like he needed thousands of dollars worth of work or his teeth would basically fall out. They made him pay in advance before any treatment was even done. When he did get the work done, they messed it up repeatedly -- he had to keep going back just to fix what they'd done wrong. Ive gotten extensive work done here at Orange Estates, from a simple filling to an implant, and I do not lie when i tell you that Dr Mercados work is exceptional. I was very nervous about getting my implant. Dr Mercado and his staff assured me it would be a very easy process, and they walked me through every step of the procedure. **WARNING** **READ BEFORE BOOKING** 0 stars!! DO NOT COME HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. You can absolutely disregard the positive reviews this "business" has. I went for a routine cleaning. They said I had gum disease, two cavities, my bone was starting to deteriorate, and that I was on track to lose my teeth by the time I'm 40 (currently in my 20s). The dentist's first words to me after my X-rays were taken was "Do you like having teeth?" and proceeded to try to scare me into paying for their "treatment plan". After my talk with the dentist, I get sent to a room to talk to a "treatment coordinator" who is just a front desk person who is given the same script as the dentist but has no actual degree to be talking to me about my teeth. These people are crooks and shakedown artists. They trap you in a room and lie to you about your teeth to put you in a high pressure situation where you feel forced to pay for their "treatment" plan. I went to a different office to get a second opinion and essentially they informed me that EVERYTHING this dentist office told me was a lie and my teeth are in great shape. This office tried to have me pay for work that was unnecessary and when I asked for a moment to call my husband they questioned if I need to call my husband to make financial decisions. Their whole scheme is to keep you there and have you paying before you have a chance to even think about it. I was there for two hours and I had not even 1 tooth cleaned. There's more that I can say but I'll end this review with a very stark warning to anyone considering visiting here - DON'T. read more

Beware! My family has had horrible experiences with this place. In my honest opinion, they are high pressure sales people. They attempt to scare you into getting work done. They play videos of horrible dental stories to scare. In addition, they specifically said we cannot get a tooth pulled unless we agree to get a fake tooth put in its place. Bone graph, etc. What? I don't want a fake tooth. As a customer, I'm ok with a missing tooth. Its my decision. Not to mention, they call you so much that we have blocked them. Buyer beware. I wish I never went here. After spending almost 1000 dollars out of pocket along with whatever my dental insurance paid. I'm going to have to spend even more money to get a second opinion. After 9 visits within the span of 2 months I'm over this and need a second opinion. I'm convinced my crown was not placed correctly and is the reason I keep feeling pain. Nothing can be said about their customer service skills because they are super nice. I'm just not happy with the actual procedure which is honestly what counts the most. As a side note. I also saw a review about a Scientology pamphlet they send out. For anyone that's wondering yeah that's true. The pamphlet was written by the founder of Scientology. That's not the reason why I'm giving a 1 star review. I'm just really unhappy with the time and money I've spent and still have to continue to spent more time and money to find another dentist to ease the discomfort I feel. read more

Dr Mercado extracted my front tooth, something I've been wanting to do for YEARS. Broke my tooth when I was a child and it's been black all around. Finally found a Dr who was confident enough to help me. Still waiting for my implant placement but I can already tell the difference. Came in for an initial intake, was quoted about 1k out of pocket for just one filing and a deep cleaning (after PPO insurance). Staff was nice, but what irked me the most was the "thank you" booklet i was mailed from this office, which was nothing more than scientology propaganda. now, to each their own-it's not my place to judge who or what people's beliefs are. but i came in for a tooth cleaning, not to receive unsolicited advice on how to live my life and pay an outrageous price on top if it all. read more
