Jake and the Wheelhouse crew catered our family reunion in Otis, MA. Working out the details with…read moreJake was easy and effortless. Our guests LOVED the food truck, crew, presentation and especially the food!! The farm fresh dishes were beautiful, creative and delicious- the brisket was to die for! My family is still talking about it. I would definitely use the Wheelhouse Farm team again!

We were so lucky to have had Wheelhouse Farm Truck cater our autumn wedding this past October, and…read moreit was 100% everything we could have hoped for. We knew when it came to the food, we wanted 1) a farm-to-table experience with pure, delicious, locally-sourced ingredients, 2) an elegant but down-to-earth seasonal menu, and 3) plenty of options for our vegan and celiac guests as well as our meat-lovers. Bonus points if our caterers were a pure pleasure to work with. The instant we spoke to Jake about our day, we knew we hit the jackpot. From the beginning, it felt like working with a friend. Jake was open, flexible, professional and generally awesome. Since we planned our wedding in about 10 weeks, I can't tell you what a load off it was to have the catering piece taken care of. Jake and the team were super on-point and helpful with our semi-DIY plans, and they couldn't have been friendlier through the entire process. Oh! And the food was SO good, SO perfect to what we envisioned and our guests have had nothing but highest compliments. I often get cravings for that meal... just delicious. As a side note, before we met in person we visited the Wheelhouse truck at the Amherst Farmer's Market in an impromptu detour and the team was so warm and welcoming to us, having us sample their amazing arepas and chatting with us about our upcoming plans. These are just great people doing great things, making special food and spreading love. Honestly, we couldn't want more than that.

Even with the long wait times (granted I got there on a busy day. Plus that's actually good, since…read moreit means it's actively being prepped (seal of freshness)) the food is so good that even if you had to wait, you will feel greatly rewarded with the food graciously served. Recommendations are Chicken Shawarma (though any variety should be worth it) and Maqluba Rice. Get it, you won't regret it! p.s. - The food truck is now located by the skate park in Turners/Great Falls. That's near the River... to the Sea!

The Mohawk Falafel & Shawarma food truck recently located to a big parking lot on Chapman Street…read morerecently. This popular food truck serves up sandwiches & platters (falafel, shawarma, kabob), gyros, fries, hummus, grape leaves, baba ghanouj, meat & spinach pies, and baklava. I stopped by the Mohawk Shawarma Grill recently for dinner takeout. There was a small crowd of people standing near and in front of the trailer waiting for their orders. There was only one person working the trailer, so it took a while to place my order (7 minutes) and for my food to be ready (20 minutes). Once my food was all set, I enjoyed it in my car parked on the street. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma Sandwich ($7.99 plus tax) and a Gyro ($7.99 plus tax), which were both grilled to order wraps with tasty fillings. The shawarma sandwich was filled with tender pieces of marinated chicken, tomato, pickles, fries, and garlic. The gyro was filled with gyro meat slices, tomato, onion, fried potato, and tzatziki sauce. I will definitely have to stop by again for some kabobs next time!
