Our house got hit the day before Milton hit land, it was a tornado the day before, I've been through many hurricanes but not a tornado before they usually throw off through the hurricane, anyway we got a phone call from a friend it was heading down 98 South and was told it was heading to Dixie Ranch , again funny how it hit one road jumped hit a out 4-5 houses on our road, jumped a road I believe totalled a trailer then jumps back on 98South and totalled a old couple trailer like rolled it several times with them in it, they made it anyway we went to our friends due to no power so the next day I knew to call my adjuster and tell them what I see wrong, now mind you I'm in shock, all I saw was window blown in , shutters gone but tapcons there, debris everywhere, I haven't walked properly around, now at this time I was told about Craig and ask a adjuster, but I haven't called yet, until my husband and I started seeing more damage, I believe the first citizens adjuster should of looked around and pointed out the things we were missing he did not he just recommended patch metal roof and just replace windows, so with just patching a 2.5 y old metal roof it would if been two tone, , they gave us 4600 or near and then my deductible I believe was 4500, so that was just to repair roof and replace windows not enough for shutters, then I decided to call aka and I met Craig Kossman and he took his time and showed us things we couldn't imagine even though we were starting to see things, Thank you Craig Kossman, roof has started, we are putting a secondary driveway in for weight of what needs to come on, we have someone to clear south side of property, we had someone pile all the oaks on the back side i know you saw it but forestry says we cant burn but we will make little piles or figure it out least of worries besides we are under burn ban, have a guy ready for windows after roof done, have a painter scheduled for inside and out, plus our back doors, front door, and possibly enough to do a little more Thank you Ask A Adjuster, Craig Kossman, we are in debt to you for doing what the original citizens should of done. From my first conversation with Charles Farro from the Tampa office of Ask An Adjuster, I knew he was the right person to save us from a very stressful situation. Our roof had sustained significant damage from Hurricane Milton. So much so, the insurance company investigator found 9 additional roof damage areas to include the ones from the damage we reported. Words can never describe how grateful I am to Andrew Bargo and his team at Why ask an Adjuster. I hired a plumbing company to come out and do a re-pipe and replace a water heater 4 days before Xmas Dec 19, 2022. My older children were met that afternoon with roughly 5inches of water rushing out of the house and water raining down from the ceiling. The house was deemed a total loss after what appeared to be a replaced main valve pipe busting in the ceiling filling it till it collapsed. Leaving me and my 3 children homeless for the holidays, as I am a single Mom who also happens to have a Medically ill toddler on several medications and 3 surgeries at only 2 years old. I filed a claim for roof and leak damage from a hail storm. The claim was approved for a new roof and "some" leak damage. The approved inside leak damage repair estimate seemed extremely inadequate.
