However, I checked into this. Jay & Central Florida did not determine this $800 value, the insurance companies do (car was over 15 years old). Central Florida has no say whatever, so let's not shoot the messenger. This week, Jay straightened out my confusion on car insurance renewal dates & sent me the proper (non-expired) proof of insurance cards. Quickly, all questions answered accurately; professionally executed. I will start by saying that I have been using this company for years for my home owners insurance…read more In December I was informed that my my home owners policy would not be renewed because Florida Peninsula was reducing their exposure to hurricanes and other perils. LOL.. So I contacted the Insurance Center of Central Florida and was given the representative Amy. She informed me that I would need a 4-point Inspection. I got one on 12-14-2021and it was emailed to Amy immediately. Amy said that I would probably have to go with Citizens insurance. Knowing and having my 4- point, she let me know that I would have to wait until 30 days before my expiration on 3-38-2022 to submit for a quote or it will expire. She let me know that she would get in touch with me then. Then on 3-1-2022 she calls me and informs me that I have "cloth wiring" in my house and that NO ONE would cover me ... sorry.... This sent me into a tailspin. NO ONE will cover my house!!! Calling around I found another agent that told me that Citizens does cover cloth wiring as long as it does not have knob and tube wiring. Which my house does not have and clearly stated on the 4- point. BUT...... the roof has to have at least a 3 year life left on it to be considered. Which my garage roof only has 2, which again was clearly stated on my 4-point. Now because of Amy's negligence in informing me knowing that I was going to have to get Citizens and knowing my roof would not pass, I am now forced to come up with the money in a 25 days to get my roof done. If I was told back in December I would have had time to come up with the money. Plus, in December, it was off season for roofer and may have gotten a cheaper price. But now, they are coming into season and it may take a month to get the work done. This all could have been prevented if Amy would have done her job and looked at my 4- point and done her research of the policy. I am very very upset. I will NEVER use them again. And you should not either.

After going to State Farm, All State, and a few other major places for homeowner's quotes, I decided to look up a broker and gave him a call. He got me insured through Metlife for a lot less than State Farm quoted me. We also switched our auto insurance over when he gave us a quote through Safeco that was half as much as we were paying with State Farm (he says Safeco is one of the cheapest major insurer in Chicago). Outside of the great rates he finds as a result of being a broker, his service is excellent. He's in Berwyn but I've never needed to go to his office. He's very on top of e-mail and on the phone and follows up on things... He gets me what I need when I need, makes good suggestions, etc.

I refer to the Tow Service Technician, Juan, that assisted me through AAA on the morning of 9 March 2023 at approximately 8:49. On the evening of 8 March 2024, I discovered that one of my tires had been punctured. A local business allowed me to park my car overnight. On 9 March I called AAA and immediately a car was dispatched to the location and towed the car to Discount Tire where the tire was replaced. Juan was efficient and professional. AAA replaced a battery on my fathers car last year. Battery comes with 3 year free replacement…read more This is only good if you have a current membership and it does not cover the 60$ fee to send someone out. I tried to take the battery to the NAPA store where AAA told me i could replace it but after a day of charging the battery and testing it, NAPA auto parts told me they don't stock that battery for AAA. Why wasn't i told the battery stocked by NAPA and why was I told it would be replaced for free. My fathers membership had expired a few months earlier and AAA said since it expired the renewals fee went from $65 to $102, I also have AAA membership but they wouldn't honor the battery replacement under my membership either, but they did offer to roll a truck for $100 and sell me another new battery.
