We had a leak from our upstairs bathroom toilet, which we discovered because of the wet stains in our downstairs dining room ceiling. After the plumber cut out a portion of the ceiling, there was clear evidence of black mold. The plumber fixed the toilet, and recommended Dry Tech to take care of the mold and wet wood in the subfloor. The plumber called Dry Tech, and put me on the phone with the owner, Chris Williams. Mr. Williams explained the process and within 30 minutes, Bobby, Austin, Kyle and James were at our home (the day after Christmas). They quickly assessed the situation and brought in their machines to dry out the wood, and filter and clean out the air and the mold. Not only were they professional and courteous, they were careful with our furniture and belongings. They came to our house again the next day to check the air quality (machines still running), and on the third day, when all machines were ready to be removed, Austin and Kyle assured us all was dry and clear. They cleaned up everything and wiped everything down with a microbial cleaner. We have never encountered a home repair that required this type of "mold clean up", which at first was a bit unnerving, but I can say with certainty that I would highly recommend Dry Tech. Wow, I just began business with Dry Tech Restoration and have been completely blown away. I experienced the nightmare of a pipe burst and all that follows, a home owners nightmare. First, I couldn't believe how fast their response team was (1 1/2 hr). Second, Chris, the owner, was so incredibly proactive. I have never experienced a need to file an insurance claim so I barely knew what to do first. Chris walked me thru step by step. He even went out of his way to contact the people he was recommending to help me further and arranged to meet them the next day. I am a pretty independent woman and have functioned quite well for many years but this knocked my feet out from under me. I can't say enough about how amazing this company is! Our Washer overflowed and water was everywhere. They got here so quick to cleaning up the water, check for damage and they even pulled up the baseboard that needed to be replaced. They left fans and equipment the dried the house in 48 hours!
