Craig Kossman has been a breath of fresh air to work with through an otherwise challenging…read moresituation. After Hurricane Milton, our roof had damage so we contacted Ask an Adjuster after Craig was referred by a friend. He's friendly, knowledgeable, responsive, and transparent around the process, and setting expectations. We're still in the process, but have already deposited the first checks from our claim which exceeded our expectations. Craig and his team looked at everything and we are so glad they did. We didn't see a number of things that they noticed - as of now 40% of the estimated damage has been paid, and we're in process of getting quotes for a new roof and the additional work. While additional money may come our way, we're very glad for what has come so far, and know that we would likely not have had close to the same outcome on our own. Highly recommend!!!

After a wind storm damaged our roof in 2024, Our roofer suggested hiring Ask an Adjuster. They sent me an estimate of what the case was worth. It was much more than I would have expected which should have been a red flag. Without going into the details, the company was unable to do anything for us and recommended we hire an attorney. We ended hiring a local attorney who was able to settle the case for what was actually a little more than the cost of the project. However, we still had to pay Ask an Adjuster 20% of the settlement as well as the attorney fees. The attorney was kind enough to lower their fee under the circumstances. But between the two the amount was woefully short of the cost of the roof. We had to eat that, which I am not happy about. I called to talk to the agent and asked about a reduction since the company did nothing for us. She said she thought that was doable and get back to me. I never heard another word. This settlement with the attorneys just came a few months ago and I am still aggravated by the whole thing. I can see why this is such a litigious society now. I am considering filing suit to get my money back.

After trying to struggle for a fair claim from my Insurance and waiting for "them", to send "their"…read moreappraisers... I heard from a friend, that a "Public Adjuster" could get more money for us... I never heard of a public adjuster and went on the internet and came across Claimsmax. Sam came over to meet me at the house right away and assured me, that I could get much more than what the Insurance was offering! The way I saw it, if my Insurance was making me wait anyways, I was then going to wait for a better amount. Sam, made this possible, getting us aprox $11,000 more! This was heaven sent, if anybody experiencing a crisis of water damage! Just a heads up, if you don't know about public adjusters: they don't charge anything at the beginning, they only charge 10-15% on the money they ADJUST. For example my company only wanted to give us aprox $9000 but when Sam came in with a $25,000 the Insurance Company then counter offered, to settle at $21000, so the % would be only taken on the "difference", I settled for, not the original $9000. Not knowing what to expect, not knowing anything about Claimsmax, especially if the check was going to be sent to them, I was really nervous, anxious and skeptical to the end... I finally got the check and it was sent to ME. It also has their name on it, so we have to meet at the bank to disperse it... I have only good things to say about this company, I hope everybody knows about "public adjusters"! Thanks to Sam and Brian, who patiently worked with me along this trial some time... I was skeptical to the end but they were patient with me, so glad, I was able to wait it out, "good things come to those who wait"!

I don't normally write reviews on contractors or vendors that work on my house because most of the…read moretime, even when the work is done well, I still feel like I get ripped off on price. In this case, I feel like Sam and Bob with Claimsmax Adjusters were the ones that got the short end of the stick. The amount of work they did and customer service was outstanding! I had a serious leak coming from the air-conditioner build up in the garage, and (as it turned out) leaked all the way through the wall and into my kitchen. The insurance company was originally going to simply cover the box the unit sat on and the garage damage (and that estimate was very low). Bob and Sam with ClaimsMax came in and did their due-diligence! They took the time to check every angle of the situation and found that the water had gone through the wall causing damage to the kitchen cabinets on the other side of the wall. They knew right away that this would eventually grow mold and found some of the lower cabinets had even been slightly warped by the water. They did an estimate that covered every aspect of what it would take an average contractor, and remediation company to make the property back to how it was prior to any damage. They explained every step (something I never hear from contractors and why I can explain with such detail), and dealt directly with my insurance company. I got much more than what they had originally told me just for the garage and wall portion. They also got the entire kitchen fix included and covered, and explained that because they couldn't match the cabinets perfectly they would all need tp be replaced to make the kitchen look right. They didn't add a bunch of things that shouldn't be included or try and take advantage, and in the end the adjuster for the insurance company agreed. I've told a lot of my friends now why having a trusted public adjuster should be a first call when something goes wrong in your house. Thank you Sam and Bob for saving the day! Seriously, I would have had a nightmare of a shock if went to sell my house and found mold in the wall and serious kitchen damage. I told you I would write a truthful review.
