This is one of our go to take out restaurants. Orders are prepared for pick up in a timely manner. There is seating for dining in. The food has always been fresh, with the exception of the sesame chicken sometimes being a bit tough and overcooked. My favorite is the sweet potato roll. read more

I will say that most of their foot traffic does seem to be people picking up and that does make for a more casual/fast food but its a cozy spot for a group of friends to go and have a sit down meal. Customer Service I have always had good costumer service, but because they are our neighbors I am not going to factor this into my review or rating. Food I think for most of their food items they have are average to slightly above average, and by that I mean you can expect similar quality to a decent Asian fast food place. What I like about Asian Peal though, is that there are a few dishes that stand out. For example, their sweet and sour chicken is amazing! At most Chinese places sweet and sour chicken tends to be very greasy and often the sauce can be a little too tart. Asian Pearls is amazing! They also do really good fried chicken wings. We have ordered food from here for the past 6 years, always delivered timely and we enjoy the food always (never had a problem). This past Sunday my wife and I ordered are usual order. An hour went by and no food (never taken longer than 30min) we called the restaurant and were told "the driver is on their way to you now". Another hour went by and no food, we are now at about 2hr and 15min from the time we called. My wife called to ask that our order be cancelled and our money refunded. We were told 3 different versions of what happened, then who we think was a Manager came to our house with the driver on facetime making a scene outside the house. He finally leaves and then about an hour later my wife received 3 phone calls from an unknown number, picked up the 3rd time and it was the driver giving an attitude because he has to pay for the undelivered food. My wife called the restaurant to inform them that we were now being harassed by the driver and the woman at the restaurants response was "we will make a note and never deliver to you again, that's what we do when people cause many troubles". I laughed the whole thing off but there's really no other Chinese food restaurant in the vicinity and there food is good, it is a shame how poorly we were treated after 6 years of a relationship and treated like we were doing something wrong. read more

The best steamed dumplings I have ever had. I recently moved to Manorville and this is probably my 2nd or 3rd time ordering from Pearl. In the past I have gotten their sushi, and have had no complaints. Today I ordered their steamed dumplings for delivery and I am in love. I did not expect to be writing a review today, but when I tasted these dumplings I knew I had to tell the world. I really like steamed dumplings. Their probably one of my favorite foods for take-out. Usually they are quite doughy and somewhat bland... not at Pearl. These meaty morsals have a thin dumpling wrapping and are packed with seasoned meat and chives. Went in for a quick lunch. They gave me the menu and looked at the lunch specials since it was 12pm. I ordered the pad Thai shrimp. The shrimp were big and fresh. The noodles themselves were too sweet for my taste. Not a dish I would order again. The gave me the bill and it was 17.00!! The lady explained that it was the dinner size and that they told me at the time of ordering. I certainly did not and that it was for lunch. I was told that I was mistaken again. What a disappointment. We ordered online. They delivered and forgot two main dishes. But included the sauce for one of them. We called and figured we would go pick it up to get it quicker. The person on the phone tried to tell us that we never ordered the items. We explained the receipt is in front of us that we received via email. We also let them know we received the sauce for the sweet and sour chicken, but no chicken! No apologies. Just said they didn't get the items as part of our order. Finally a great Asian restaurant in Manorville...and they deliver...and you can order online! These things are literally unheard of out here. I've always been a fan of their Speonk location and this one is just as good. It is very small though so you might end up having to opt for takeout. Their prices are comparable to most sushi places on Long Island and they have good lunch specials that are a great deal. I've been here quite a few times since they opened and the food is always fresh and delicious. The service is just fine for my taste but I'm also not a very fussy diner. I'm really surprised with some of the negative reviews for this place. My family and I have been on the quest to find the best Chinese food in our area and we have pretty much hit them all. We found this place on our travels to Starbucks (right across from it so another perk). I had stopped having Chinese for a while because I would get really nauseous after having it. I realized it may be from too much MSG put it in. When I tried this place I felt fine after and the food was great. What I really liked about the place was it was really clean inside and they were very accommodating by even allowing me to substitute an eggroll for a soup without the upcharge I get from most places. DECOR: pretty small place, some seating but seems more geared toward a takeout place rather than a restaraunt. FOOD: ordered off their website for takeout. I did the 2 rolls lunch special, which was $9 for 2 rolls including a side miso soup and side salad with ginger dressing. I picked the Shrimp Tempura Mango roll and I really liked that. I always get Shrimp Tempura but I have never tried mango in it and that gave a nice sweet side to the roll. Also picked the Spicy Crab and Avacado roll and that was good too. Miso soup was average tasting, nice and hot. Salad was average. SERVICE: i really liked the order off their website option. Super easy and when I got there my food was all ready to go. This is hands down the best sushi I have ever had and they have exceptional chinese! If you go there and just want chinese I recommend their pork lomein, chicken and broccoli, and/or cheese wontons! For sushi beginners (or experts) a rainbow roll is the way to go! My brother often gets Thai food from here too which he says is exceptional. decent food. hot and sour soup is amazing. i had two sushi rolls, salmon avocado was less then spectacular. Very fatty and the avocado had alot of brown spots. not so bad but would of been nice if it was fresher. Shrimp tempura roll with mango was better but im not a huge fan of their batter here. Won't go here anymore. They could never complete my order correctly. After several chances (we all make mistakes) we mentioned it and they were rude and unapologetic. We waited a while and tried the place one last time but the order was incorrect again. I called and said we received the wrong food again. They promised a " free meal" to compensate for more than 5 orders of mistakes. When we went to get the free meal they gave us a hard time and didn't want to honor their word. Ordered a variety for company on Sunday. Chicken and broccoli, sesame chicken, pork egg foo young, pork lomein, wonton soup. All were the best chinese food meals that I have had in a long time. The egg foo young was crisp and flavorful. The broccoli was not mushy in the chicken and broccoli. All sauces were flavorful. I would definitely return for more meals.
