The place appears to be nothing more than a take-out counter. I went to pick up an order and it was ready on time and well-stocked, with napkins, sauce packets, everything you could need. Professional operation, I say. The food is quite good in taste and they don't skimp on the ingredients. When they sell you beef and broccoili it really is BEEF with broccoli added on. I can't complain about the taste, either. Often at these Chinese restaurants the food is really salty, but not here. It was well-seasoned and reasonable. Service is Everything!!! Stopped in last night for dinner but the last time I was here was probably a year ago. Not for any other reason than I just haven't been. So why do I make the point of saying this?? Because my girl Nina!! Not only did she remember my first choice dish but the second choice as well. She proceeded to rattle off my entire party's favorite dishes like we had just been there yesterday!! Well that's damn impressive in my book. Place is clean, and service was prompt. The food was just ok. Probably didn't help that i recently went to an incredible Thai restaurant and got the same thing...so the comparison was fresh. I went with the Thai spicy garlic chicken and shrimp. Not too much spice to be found, but ordering the extra red peppers helped with that. The sauce was a bit sweet for me - and I'm typically a fan of sweet and spicy. Just didn't seem to fit here. The portions were generous. The shrimp were also a good size. In the past this was my preferred Chinese food restaurant in Owings Mills, unfortunately my most recent visit was not as good as I'd hope for. My go to is the crispy beef (the soup choices are great when under the weather). I placed my order on the phone and arrived about 10 mins after ordering. My food was bagged when I arrived so I make the assumption it's just finished being prepared. I live roughly 5-7 mins away. Hungry, I wash up and prepared to eat within mins of arriving home. The rice, perfectly cooked. The beef was neither crispy nor as enjoyable as I remember (soggy and awfully sweet). This was my first meal of a long day so I eat until full. Preparing for an early day the following morning, I head to bed and about four hours later I wake with a horribly upset stomach. I don't know for sure if the food made me ill, but since is was the only meal I had it will probably take me awhile to forget this experience and want to return. read more

We had Hot and Sour soup that was neither spicy or sour and had very little flavor but they did have wood ear mushrooms along with the shiitake but almost no meat or tofu. We tried the General Tso's. It tasted okay but wasn't very spicy despite the red peppers and the chicken pieces were heavily breaded so overall there wasn't much meat and again only four tiny pieces of broccoli. I've never eaten in before, but that is an option in the separate dining area. My favorite dish is the General Tso chicken which comes with ample chicken and fresh broccoli. Sometimes the chicken can be too fatty, but you can request white meat chicken if you like. I also enjoy the Moo Shu Chicken. Today, I'm ordering the Shrimp and Chicken pad thai and Hot Crispy Beef. I am not a huge fan of the dishes that I've had here but my husband LOVES their cashew chicken. I have tried the Pad Thai and one other chicken dish and found them Both lacking in flavor and sauce. The reason for the three star review is it that it is an average of my 2 star for my food and my husband's five star for his food. One a positive note, they have a number of vegetarian options with meat alternative. I am moving to a plant-based diet and plan to try some of those items. Surprisingly a great vegetarian spot. They also had a fresh seaweed salad and decent kimchi if you need something not made a wok. Lightning fast service. I'm always suspicious of a place that does too many types of Asian cuisines, but I have enjoyed the Chinese, Korean, Singaporean and Thai food here. Asian Kitchen is one of my go-to places for Chinese takeaway. The menu is pretty standard in terms of Chinese menus; however they offer Thai food as well. The one time we ordered something off their Thai menu it wasn't very good and lacked authenticity - so concentrate on the Chinese offerings. We usually start with their chicken dumplings, which aren't the most flavorful but still good. Their Kung pao chicken is one of my favorites - small crispy pieces of chicken in a slightly spicy sauce and crunchy peanuts. The key is that they don't over sauce the dish. I also like their Singapore noodles, which is thin rice noodles in a mild curry sauce usually with some vegetables, chicken and shrimp. For the most part everything is pretty good and everything is VERY reasonably priced. Furthermore their food comes packaged in "click-to-shut" containers which guarantees the food doesn't leak and stays hotter. Not a big factor but definitely a nice change, especially if you have ever had to deal with one of those crappy white paper containers that leaks through the bag. My first visit on recommendation from friend and I was pleasantly surprised to see good vegetarian options. We decided to go with lunch menu. I ordered Pad Thai veggie option and my friend ordered with meat in it. She was really happy but for me there was strong fish oil smell ( not sure they use it) and that put me off !
