We have enjoyed every meal we have ordered from here. Very nice staff. We usually order ahead and it is always ready when we get there.

The food was not that good. The honey chicken tasted weird. The prices were good but the taste of the food is just not good.

I have to say it's good. I have had a few of there dishes and liked them all. We get delivered by Door Dash so I have never been in the restaurant so I can't speak to the service. Great shrimp egg rolls. read more

We have gotten take out from here a couple times now and have eaten in person once. The food has always been really good traditional Chinese and it's the best in Greenville in my opinion. The sesame chicken is my favorite. I also like their orange chicken and my wife gets the hibachi and really likes it. read more

Such a wonderful place! I've heard great things about this place and decided to get some food to go. They were super friendly and my food didn't take long at all. My first order was house lo mein, chicken and broccoli, and hot and sour soup. All were delicious and came piping hot. Very filling with generous portions. I've been here a few more times and have always had a good experience! read more

Food was delicious and crispy, and was ready faster than I could even get there to pick it up! They're also using a good solution for being covid safe: they converted part of their entrance into a contactless to-go window! read more

Dang! We're almost ALWAYS disappointed in Chinese takeout, and so we try new places with trepidation. We just got to this area a few days ago, and the reviews were good here. I had the tofu with Szechuan sauce and got three meals out of it! Delicious and flavorful each time. Hubs had the chicken fried rice and wanton soup. He rarely raves, but he did say he'd eat it again, so that's a five in his book. read more

lol the food isn't great. It's not terrible but it's not anything special. The reason they get 1star? Because they tipped themselves. I payed the price of my food and crossed out the tip. Why? Because my food was to go so there wasn't a server involved for me to tip. The people in the kitchen and cashier all get a standard pay and don't get the tips. So tip would be going to the owner. I'm not for that. I'll tip wait staff sure but that's it. 24/h later my account updates the amount. Who ever processed my card just added a tip without telling me. This is illegal by the way. It's a kind of theft. Now I was not given a receipt, was not even offered one. So all I have is my bank statement and word against this entire place of business. I'm not getting that tip back. But I'd figured I'd let y'all know what they are doing. read more

They have large portions and are super friendly. With all the food we order to go they literally never mess any up or ever have anything missing. Their meat and veggies are always cook perfectly. You should definitely pay them a visit if you're getting the craving for Chinese take out. read more

The food was fresh and hot, but was tasteless. It had such little flavor. None of the four of us enjoyed our meals. It was just bland. The service was fine but there was little of it. Order at the counter, then they bring the food. I'm responsible for everything else. read more

Great food and efficient COVID-19 service. It was my first time here and I got the chicken Hibachi with and order of wings. I'm from Charlotte but I will definitely eat here again when i'm down here. 5 Stars!!! read more

I can always count on this place for cheap, yummy Chinese food. I always either get the small beef lo mein or the small beef fried rice, which is especially delicious with their white sauce. Both costs less than $6 and I leave feeling stuffed! I've gotten hibachi teriyaki and it cost around $7-$8. Juicy chicken and they don't overcook their vegetables which many takeout places do. Vegetable were well cooked and well seasoned. Staff is not there to make friends, they're there to make good food and feed you! But the food is consistently delicious and fast. read more

Not good at all! We had beef hibachi that we could not chew. Fried rice was not too bad. The egg roll was terrible. Tao chicken was a bit on the Soggy side. Overall not good Chinese food. read more

I had a late lunch take out from Asian Kitchen today around 2:30pm. It was the closest Chinese restaurant from my hotel and the Yelp rating was not bad at all. So I tried and I actually liked it. I had fried tofu with vegetables and steamed white rice to go. The fried tofu with veggies had a lot of deliciously flavored veggies and tofu (oh I ordered a large) and the white rice was very moist and tasty by itself. Sorry I forgot to take the photo of it because I was so hungry and enjoying it. :) read more

This is our go to for Chinese takeout as it's close to our house. It's definitely the most "familiar" as far as this style of Chinese food coming from NYC (NYers will understand). I'm always impressed with the quality of food that we receive and also the friendliness of their staff. Super convenient that you can order online! I hate talking on the phone and that way you know everything is right! read more

This has become our go to mainstay for carry out Chinese. It is very good, very quick and comfort food. We like the Happy Family, the Orange Chicken and the Pork Lo Mein. Usually I order using the BeyondMenu app on my phone and incredibly it is ready within 15 minutes. This may appear as China Kitchen as the name was changed a couple of years ago. It is not gourmet food, but it is excellent comfort food that usually can feed my family twice for about $45. We love our Chinese food leftovers. The only real downside here is that when you order anything "spicy" it is not spicy. Then you order with the comments "make this really spicy, like a 7 out of 10", it is not spicy. The BeyondMenu app has a requirement for entering the level of spiciness on certain menu items such as Orange Chicken or General Tso's Chicken. That is completely ignored. Aside from this, as a regular, go to for Chinese carry out, this place hits the mark. read more

I really need to stop procrastinating my reviews for months at a time. For future reference to those who follow my musings, please go forward with the assumption that when I check into a business and do not review. All was well! If something is horrible I will be sure to let you know. Having said that, Asian Kitchen quickly became one of my favorite local Asian spots, I have been nursing a 3-month long Chinese food craving, one of the longest I have ever heard of for any food category, especially one which I detested for a significant portion of my youth and early adulthood. Tastes change. But the food at Asian Kitchen is flavorful and the lunch specials are a great deal. After a few weeks of daily ordering I was able to try a significant number of dishes ranging from teriyaki chicken to Kung Po, cashew chicken, sweet & sour and more. Everything was great and the woman taking and checking out the orders is very friendly and appreciative of regulars. In addition to Min Hibachi down the road, Asian Kitchen is a must-try in the Pelham Road area, but beware: you may become an addict like I did! Fortunately if this does happen you can rest easily knowing you won't break the bank here! Thanks! read more

My hubby and I go to this spot quite often as we live close and who doesn't love take out?! Typically we call in an order and in 10 minutes go pick it up. It is always correct and taste so delicious. Everything taste like it JUST came out of the kitchen. Nothing tastes old or like it has been sitting. You can even watch them make your food right at the counter if you want too. They package it well and are considerate about sauces and utensils. The prices I feel are more than fair. I can go and spend roughly $35 and have left overs for the whole family's lunch tomorrow after stuffing our faces the night before. 10/10 recommend for that take out and movie night kind of day!! read more

Excellent food, had Shrimp and lobster sauce, wonton soup and I asked them to make - pork Yakamein soup(that was not on the menu) all was exquisite!! If you are looking for NY inspired food, this is the place! read more

Painfully average, and I was hoping for better based on the reviews. Shrimp egg roll was mostly cabbage, fried pork dumplings were okay and they did give you vinegar rather than some sweet plum like sauce that other places have so that was a plus. House Fried rice was nit bad, though kind of salty. Mongolian Beef though had almost no flavor. Still looking for really good Chinese food in Greenville read more

It's been rather difficult to find good Chinese/Asian food in Greenville. How lucky I am now to have TWO fantastic restaurants within a mile of each other and on the same road! We found KOI last year for upscale Thai food which is absolutely out of this world. Now, with Asian Kitchen, we have wonderful and delicious take out food or can sit in the small casual dining area. We ordered sweet chili wings (so good), Szechuan Chicken (flavors galore), shrimp Mei Fun (tasty as all get out), and General Tao's chicken (not exactly sure the difference between "Tao's" and "Tso's). This food was jam packed with flavor, had an abundance of extremely fresh tender vegetables, and packed the right amount of savory heat. The sauces were out of this world and everything was made fresh. Even the hand rolled egg rolls! The chicken was buttery and tender with zero fat bits and no sinewy pieces which are unpleasant. The shrimp was new and had the perfect "bite" to them. Also, these meals came with beautiful sticky rice and fried rice which was aromatic and jam packed with ingredients and flavor. The fried rice was also made fresh and had lots of fresh egg throughout. We're so happy that we came upon this new restaurant. It's our new favorite and can't wait to go back! One my favorite restaurant. Outstanding egg rolls. Great egg foo yong. Staff very helpful.

We've visited this establishment twice now and the best I can say about it is that food is prepared pretty quickly. That being said, I am sure there are OTHER options locally to choose from besides this place. Food taste and quality are only mediocre AND while out walking our dog this morning, I saw that there was a restaurant company food delivery sitting OUTSIDE on the sidewalk in front. Refrigerated food items!!! Store was not open yet. Seriously??!! This has to be against some sort of Health Department code. Guaranteed we won't be returning to eat here again. I'm going to upload the photos I took right now so you can see for yourself. Note to Owners: get your lazy rears out of bed to be there to receive your food deliveries properly. Shame, shame. read more

Asian Kitchen - Chinese Near Me - Greenville, South Carolina

Its good take out Chinese food. Pickings are slim for decent Chinese food in and around Greenville. Very slim. This is about the best Ive tried in the area. To the person who gave Asian Kitchen 1 star, compared it to Joy of Tokyo and wanted a reply stating whether he was crazy or not. Yea you are! JoT is Japanese/Asian. Asian Kitchen is Chinese w/ a very small sample of Japanese. There really is no comparing & its unfair to do so. It's like comparing Italian to Greek. They may both have a similar item or two but different concepts entirely. Asian Kitchen, Good Food, Good Portions and Fair Prices. read more

Absolute gem! The best Chinese food you can get around the area. We had the Beef Lo Mein and Chicken Hunan. My kids who just finished their Chick Fil-a take out joined us to polish this off. Surprised by their fresh veggies in the Hunan chicken, so so good. Sadly by the time we realized we shoul've taken a pic, the food was all gone. Needless to say, we'll be back. read more

We ordered Chinese takeout here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. The portions for each item ordered were very large with the food very good. Best steamed dumplings and sauce around. Good prices for fast food Chinese staff very nice and helpful.

Food is super greasy. Prices are about the same as any other Asian take out joint. The place is clean but the food is horribly greasy.

Compared to Joy of Tokyo or other quick Asian restaurants, it's at the bottom of my list. The rice was way too salty and the only redeeming factor was the white sauce. Hard to mess up white sauce.
