Izzy was our awesome server. Super friendly and helpful. Very clean establishment with well appointed seating. The food is so delicious and very colorful presentation and so flavorful. I love spicy foods!!! Some dishes are not spicy at all. Excellent lunch specials! Highly recommend this restaurant on Poinsett Road. Very welcoming staff!!

The exterior is quite deceiving for this delightful restaurant. It's cheerfully decorated inside, the service is friendly and quick and the food is delicious! My mom had the Mongolian Beef (4 out of 5 level spice) and I had the beef lo mein. The food was so good. Will definitely be back again!

Not a new place, but one that I somehow missed on previous trips. Perhaps because they've titled themselves an Asian Kitchen, which is generic and doesn't usually suggest the food is going to be particularly special. But this place is in fact run by a Malaysian family, with what I think were pictures of Kuala Lumpur decorating the walls. They have a separate menu with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free listings, of which there are many. I felt like a bit of a fool ordering basic spring rolls, but theirs were quite good with a nice mix of glass noodles and vegetables. My curry, at 4/5 spice, was enough for me on the night. It's not easy to find vegetarian green curry, but I enjoyed theirs, though it was a bit too much sauce for the amount of coconut rice that came with it. They did not skimp on the vegetables or tofu inside. A tea was perfect for washing things down, and I wish I could have ordered more. Their selection includes a number of items typical of Southeast Asian cuisine, but also some distinctively Malay items like roti canai or curry laksa. Be adventurous and try something different!

I came here for the first time for a takeout order. They have a very large menu which is nice that you can get a little bit of everything. Staff was nice. I got the lo mein noodles and it was really good. Singapore noodles had good flavor to it. Wonton soup was nice and hearty. The portions could be bigger in my opinion for the price you pay but I was overall happy with my takeout order.

Char Kueh Teow with beef - lunch portion - this dish is very similar to Pad See Ew

Yellow Ginger is awesome. All of their dishes are delicious and the service is normally really fast. Be sure to check out their expansive lunch menu of $9.95 entrees that even comes with a spring rolls. The lunch portions are also huge!!

This is our go-to place anytime we want something delicious and cozy. They put just as much care into the takeout orders as the in-house ones. Everything is made to order and with fresh ingredients, and Anthony is just the best. Some of our favorites: - Roti Canai (flaky flatbread with a spicy chicken sauce) - Tom Yum Kung & Egg Flower Soup - Lettuce wraps -Char Kueh Teow (similar to a Pad See Ew, but with a deeper and toastier sauce) - Nasi Lemak (Peanuts, sambal shrimp, stewed chicken, cucumber, boiled egg, and coconut rice in quadrants on the plate) - Chicken Rendang (slightly spicy chicken stew with cucumber salad and coconut rice, goes crazy) - Green Curry with shrimp, iconic - Pineapple fried rice

This is a cool thai and Malaysian restaurant that I was introduced to by my brother and sister in law. The place was sit down casual. It was a nice atmosphere to come and spend quality time with family and friends. (See pictures) The service was friendly and excellent. We ordered the roti, shrimp Laksa, chicken Rendang, and Mee Goreng for the table. I absolutely loved the food. It was excellent. Especially the roti, but really everything was excellent. It's the best Malaysian food I can remember, didnt think I would find it in Greenville. I would highly recommend this place for anyone and I will be back whenever in down in Greenville.

Roti Canai. A treat for the smell and taste.

It is what it is. Pretty standard fare. I was not overly impressed in spite of recommendations from friends.

Usually have takeout. Like their Gen Tao, fried rice, spring rolls, lettuce wraps or Pad Thai.

Nice greeting upon arrival. I was seated immediately. My waitress Annel, was awesome. I asked for…read moresome recommendations, and she was spot on. She said the soup, Gai was what she liked. So I got that. And the curry was the Panag. Nice, a bit thick so it would stick to the rice. It took me longer to look at the menu than it took to get my food. They were quick. The place was full and very busy. Even so, the service was quick. Everyone was checking on the customers. Very attentive. The place was nicely lit. They had a TV. Nice place. The food was awesome. The taste was better than expected. I got medium heat and that was plenty. I also got some chili paste j.i.c. I did use a little. You have a great place here. I will definitely be back, next time I'm in town. Highly recommend this place. You won't be sorry.

I had seen a lot of good reviews for Sweet Basil Thai so finally got to check it out. Parking is…read moredifficult here as there are many restaurants in a small area. We stepped into the restaurant the first thing we noticed is it's dimly lit. We waited a few moments before a server came over , she then took us to a booth. The seating wasn't that comfortable. We were given water very quickly. Then a server came to take our order. We had not had time to look at the menu so asked her to come back. Then another server came and asked if we wanted different drinks instead of water. We declined. The first server came back again so we ordered our Appetizers. We both decided on soup. My husband had Lemongrass and chicken and I had the coconut chicken with mushrooms. Yet another server came to take our Entree order. The soup arrived and it was very hot and tasty. The only down side was the chicken in the soup was overcooked and chewy. We were then given Spring rolls and dip. They were hot and crunchy. Our Entrees arrived before we finished the rolls. We both ordered our meals as a medium spice which is pretty spicy so be careful when ordering. Overall the food was good. Service was a little confusing as they all seemed to serve you! I did use the bathroom which again is dimly lit but you could see it was dirty and the floors need a good clean as they are black in some areas and very sticky. Noise level was ok even though the restaurant was busy and music was be played.
