We have been to this restaurant, probably a dozen times at this point and it is always good. They have a great Mongolian area with lots of options, and their normal buffet has great options as well. The only thing that I wish they would do differently is include the potatoes on the buffet on the weekends and not just during the week. They do fries instead of the diced potatoes with onions on the weekends and it's just not my favorite. Aside from that, this place is really good. The service is always on point and the staff are very friendly and attentive. Restrooms are clean. Your experience is consistently good across all your visits. Highly recommend eating here. This is one of the cleanest and best cared for buffets that we have ever been to. Edited to add: The buffet is also constantly cleaned. They are always going through stirring the food, swapping it out for a fresh batch and dumping any extra food if it's been out at the time limit for the day. They are meticulous about this. The absolute best Chinese buffet in Springfield. Been going here for almost a decade and it is always very fresh and delicious. They are very attentive to keeping your drinks full and your empty plates gone. It's a moderate selection but it's all the food that you would want from a buffet without any of the things that only a few people want which let's them really focus on the quality of the food they have. Shameful treatment of customers. Ive eaten here about 8 times. Food was always respectable for a fair price. After you eat they bring your ticket, you take it to a lady sitting at a desk by the exit door, pay and go. Today, I did the same as normal, taking the ticket to the desk with my family, and three people ran to the door. One baracaded herself between me, my wife, and my son and the door like we were trying to dine and dash. The other stood next to us, and the third went behind the desk to take payment. Ive never stolen a thing in my life. How humiliating! We're not thieves. Maybe this place had someone do that before, but thats not us. This is discrimination. We won't be back. Friends of ours introduced us to this place. They swore it was one of their favorite Chinese buffets. While it doesn't look like much walking in, the amount or food is deceivingly bigger than you initially think. Not only that but it is really good. Chicken sticks are really good. I have no idea why this place is a 2.5 star restaurant. My family and I came here cause we love Asian food. I have to tell you this place was the BOMB, the food was fresh and hot, nothing was cold, there servers for the buffet kept up, even the crab legs were kept up and you don't see that at all. The frog legs were fresh as well and so darn good, there wait staff was friendly and they cleaned off the table from the dishes as soon as you were done. The ombiance in the restoration was fantastic, you were greeted at the door with a smile and say right away. The restaurant was packed people just kept coming in as fast as they were leaving. Accidentally Vegan Friendly They have a Mongolian BBQ so that is an easy vegan friendly option where there are language barriers. Other than the French fries, nothing on the buffet appeared vegan as all the vegetables had dead animals in them or were cooked in butter. No real salad bar other than lettuce and a melon option. Not sure why this place gets such horrible reviews. The wife and I went because I heard they had crab legs included in the $11.99 price; so we went based on that. The place was packed! Could have been cleaner, but people were pouring in as fast as they were coming out! The buffet had a large range of dishes for the price. The only issue I found is they bring out crab legs every 15 minuets. Some people are literally setting as close as possible because it's all they're eating! The hot food was hot, and the cold food was on ice. They have hibachi, and some pretty terrible sushi, but for $12 you could get an entire plate of crab legs and the buffet would pay for its self. the food was mediocre. the staff was nice but the bathrooms were pretty dirty, the waste bin hadn't been taken out from inside the stalls so it was overflowing with toiletries. there were lipstick marks on the wall? We drove to this location from Branson because all of the Asian buffets in Branson were closed for the 4th of July. My wife has had gastric bypass surgery so she cant eat much ( maybe 4-6 ozs of food) she also has a medical card stating this and it says she should be charged a childs buffet price. Long story short the lady asked her how many plates of food she was going to eat and then watched her fix my grandsons plate and generally made my wife mad because they didn't trust her so my wife ended up not eating at all and for me and my 4 year old grandson to eat still cost 24 dollars . Nothing too special about this place. It was $10.00 for Sunday lunch buffet. Price is cheap, but food isn't that great. A lot of the dishes were overcooked - the salmon, chicken and beef dishes were hard and dry. The soups were too watery. Teriyaki sauce was too salty. Some of the carrots and green peas in the fried rice were still frozen. The food didn't look appealing, so I didn't even try a lot of the dishes they had. I left feeling bad for not finishing my plates. The only dish I really liked was the coconut shrimp, which was creamy and flavorful.
