Never thought I'll be writing a review for this place never have problems, But I ordered my usual shrimp and broccoli Shrimp Lo mein And chicken with vegetables and wings. And they messed my order up too,the only thing that was good was the white rice and the wings.The shrimp was so salty it wasn't funny almost Throw it back up Not sure if I will be coming back. My first time ordering from here as it was on my route home. Ordered shrimp fried rice and it was such a large quantity... definitely more than the quart size. Customer service on the phone and in person was on point. Food packaged neatest with menu and sauces. No complaints, I will order again!! read more

I order take out from Asian Garden at least once a week. I have had my favorites and some not so favorites here, but it wasn't so bad that it stopped my weekly order. Good customer service friendly delivery drivers and food is always hot even when it's delivered. I love their beef with spicy garlic sauce, give it a try. read more

Giving 3 stars bc the hot and sour soup is terrible. Not enough sour too much hot. The fried rice needs more seasoning and egg and frying longer. The veggies were overcooked. The steak was perfect. Medium well. The crab Rangoon perfect! I had good customer service/prompt delivery. Asian Garden China Bistro and Hibachi Grill is conveniently located in the Kroger Shopping Center with a cheap fuel station and Chase Bank near the Jonesboro Road location which contains multiple shopping options and I-75 access from Exit 221 or from easy travel from the square in town. The atmosphere is very clean with tiled floors, soft lighting and Chinese musical ballads playing in the background. Décor is not overbearing and booths are private, roomy and high back semi-textured synthetic. The restrooms are nice, fresh and well stocked. The table condiments are Rooster Sriracha sauce, Kikkoman soy sauce, salt and pepper, sugar varieties and highlighted with now rarely seen self serve containers of duck sauce and wet Chinese mustard. Even in finer Chinese restaurants do you see these two condiment offerings anymore. Complementary fried won ton chips with warm, red sweet and sour sauce is brought to the table. Lunch Combos start at $5.25 and include choice of Won Ton, Egg Drop or Hot and Sour soup. Also included is a crispy fried Vege Spring roll, choice of steamed or fried rice and a fortune cookie. You can choose from 48 combo specials of lunch portioned size that are generous, but not over plated. The Hot and Sour soup is one of the best I have had anywhere. Balanced perfectly, as not to be too sour or spicy, this lightly thickened soup was classically prepared and full of flavor. To round out the appetizer segments of the combo, the Vege Spring roll was hot and crispy, not greasy, and boasted crisp fresh cabbage, bean sprouts and carrot. The Human Beef I opted for was prepared in a light yet flavorful brown sauce full of tender beef slices and expertly cooked al dente fresh mushrooms, yellow onion, carrot, bell pepper, snow peas and zucchini. Szechuan pepper added a small amount of heat and a burst of elegant enhancement. This dish was simple, fresh and very good. The fried rice accompanying was classic American style Chinese with a splash of soy, scrambled egg and diced mixed vegetables. The Green Tea was served in a large ornate ceramic pot with bamboo handle. It contained one bag each of Chinese Green Tea and Fijian Oolong. The steeping blend created a smooth, medium bodied elixir that was pleasant to drink--neither strong nor bitter. Server was attentive but not over bearing, well informed in the menu items and ingredients and polite. Cost for the Lunch Hunan Beef Combo was $5.25 plus a pot of Hot Green Tea $1.60 equaling a total of $7.33 without tip. The menu is fairly extensive for the small establishment covering beef, chicken, seafood and vegetarian with Hunan, Szechuan, Japanese (Hibachi and Tempura) and some simple Thai cuisines. Wing Specials and a Kids Menu are also offered. Over all, this is a great little spot for fresh Asian cuisine with an incredibly price friendly menu. Stopped by here for lunch today with a friend &. were both pleased with our meals. My friend had the shrimp with Àsian vegetables. It came out looking & smelling great . The shrimp & the veggies looked very fresh & my friend said it was pretty tasty. I had the Mongolian beef & it too was very good- crispy on the outside & tender on the inside with crispy fried noodles underneath. Lunch is an excellent value.Eating in you get a choice of hot soup, your entree, an ample portion of fried rice, & an egg roll. All for about $6.50!!! Sure beats a burger! read more

We have been going to this Chinese restaurant for quite some time. When I read some of the reviews yesterday I was hesitant thinking that things had changed somehow. But we once again tried them and were simply delighted by the quality of food and service we received. We ordered an appetizer platter, Orange chicken and house fried rice and ALL our food was very good. Service was very attentive and they were very busy with both dine in and carry out. I wouldn't think twice about choosing to dine here and don't see where some of these bad reviews come from because I have eaten Chinese food all over the country and believe this to be one of the better places to eat. I've only been here once with an actual waitress, most times its an owner or manager maybe? The food is a bit better than the Chinese in a box that dots the landscape of Henry County. Consistently hot, freah food. If you're expecting to be waited on hand and foot this isn't your place. read more

This place has the best Chinese food in McDonough, but don't go here if you are big on customer service. We order takeout from here quite often and noticed they don't have any customer service.... But they were just overtly rude on my last visit. The cashier had several customers that were ordering for takeout and so he asked several people if they were there to pick up. He completely skipped over me and went to a customer who came in after me. I spoke up and mentioned to him that that was very rude, and he just ignored the comment and kept ringing up my order. I loudly stated again that his behavior was extremely rude but he chose to ignore it instead of apologizing. read more

Have been here a few times and each time the attendant either serves someone who came in after me or customers who order 10/15 min after me get their food before me!! This was a total let down! I ordered two fried chicken wing plates with shrimp fried rice egg rolls and a coke thinking if I keep it simple it'll be pretty hard to be disappointed BUT BOY WAS I WRONG ....I can't really put my finger on it but the shrimp tasted fishy and dirty and the rice, egg roll, and wings tasted like it was all fried together. This was our 2nd trip to this place. The first time was really good. We walked in this time and there was only one other table so we expected great service. And it started off quick. The waiter was there as we sat. He took our drink and soup orders. When he brought them out we placed our food order. We enjoyed the soup and our food came out, well not our son's food. He didn't say anything. A few minutes later he brought out our son's sweet and sour sauce and said it his food would be out soon. We couldn't figure out how his sweet and sour chicken and french fries were taking so long. About 15 minutes after our food arrived his plate showed up. This isn't acceptable. A child's food should hit the table before an adult's and definately not 15 minutes after. Partly because now the food is piping hot and we have to wait on it to cool so he can eat it. As we finish our dinner we wait to get take home boxes for the rest of our meal. I had to walk over to what I assume was an owner/manager to get the boxes and even longer to get our guest check. Finally the server brought our guest check, and I immediately put my card in it so that we could pay and leave. The server proceeded to bus our table instead of checking us out. He made two trips to the table. I had to go to the owner/manager again to pay so that I could leave. His excuse was that a waiter called out. Really? We are the only dine-in customer about 10 minutes into our visit. We won't be back. read more

I usually eat there three times a month with my daughter and have always loved the food there until this last time. My daughter and I ordered the Mongolian chicken and when it came out there was only like 4 thin slices of chicken and the plate was filled mostly with onions. So we sent my daughters back they were supposed to to bring me some more chicken for mine and my daughter said I may get the chicken fried rice when the waitress look like she got mad my daughter said she no that's okay I don't want anything. The waitress kept saying no no no I'll bring you chicken fried rice and we kept saying no we don't want it. She brought it anyway set it down on the table never brought any more chicken for my Mongolian chicken never came back to refill our drinks. When we went to pay our bill I looked at the guy and I said you can take off one of the Mongolian fried chicken cuz we returned it. Then the waitress have the nerve to argue with us because she brought us chicken fried rice that we didn't want and that we did not eat. I have been going there for years with both of my kids.
