The track could probably use some re-paving and some more amenities could be added to bring it up to the levels of other local tracks. The location is just outside of a neighborhood and in a very private suburb of Savannah. The track is narrower than say, a Barber of Road Atlanta, but wide enough. The surface is actually very nice and not too bad on tires, but can get slick on the edges due to the sand in the area. The front straight is super fast and turn 1 takes some serious getting use to before you really learn how fast you can actually tip in. The grounds are very well laid out and well kept. Their's power all over the place so generators aren't really necessary. You have to pit in the sandy grass so be sure to bring a rug and some chairs when you come. I love the track and cannot wait to race on it again.

After being out in the yard for about two hours and 96° heat, I really wanted a red Powerade. So I put my card up to it and ordered the Powerade it approved. My card went through. Nothing came out the machine. As to not frazzle the already frantic old lady that runs the place I simply asked for change from my $20. Mind you this place collects three dollars per person for every entry into the yard. Not only was I told to just have the water that was free, but I was met with eyes rolling and sighs From what seems to be the new GM!(old Latin woman with a piss poor attitude!! ) So much so that I felt the need to just leave and say screw the Powerade and my money already spent in the machine as this was causing her undue stress that I didn't need to invoke on a senior citizen on what is only the second day of the work week. These people make it really hard to shop local and not go over to LKQ where they give you service with a smile and help you with the Powerade's in the machine. Let us not forget that you aren't paying us to take your old used parts, we're paying you to take your old used car parts that we take off the cars and pay an outrageous premium for so stop being so mean and hateful to your customers and maybe appreciate them Instead of making them feel so uncomfortable that they say screw their money and leave.
