The line was too long to see the chalkboard menu, so I was looking on the app for new seasonal drinks(very convenient). One of the girls came up to us and kindly reminded me that they close in 2mins. She took our order and I asked what is the popular coffee right now? She quickly said Salted Caramel Biscoff Latte. I said YES I'll take it. And I apologized that it was closing time and thanked her. We ordered 3 drinks. I wanted to make sure and leave a positive review for the amazing service and kindness the girl showed to me. They could have been rude, rushed me or turned me away because technically they were closing. Sometimes ppl don't even give a recommendation. She was helpful, kind, it was hot and I'm sure she was ready to go home. I appreciate the help and it really made my day. Huh? I called the Imperial County Dept. of Public Health and inquired about Eddy's assertion and was told that the health dept. would not issue such an edict, risking violating an ADA requirement that service dogs are allowed to go wherever their handler does. I filed a discrimination complaint with the Dept. of Justice, alleging that El Sol Market and Eddy the manager have violated my civil rights under the ADA. Shop elsewhere if you have a handicap!

They looked leaves from a Giant Gunnera plant, commonly known as Dinosaur Food. I only brought one bunch home 'cus I had to fold them both vertically and horizontally just to fit them into the produce sleeve. The leaves measured 15" across. Unbelievable and delicious, I hope to find more from Joe Heger farms in the future.

Let me tell you, it makes for a nice little road trip from a beach city for some delicious honey. So, the address took us a little off the side of the actual location. We ended up asking one of the locals if he knew where the farm was located. The man graciously took us (we followed his truck in our SUV) to the farm. We ended up picking up about 14 half gallon containers of the citrus honey for family and friends. Vic has honey in either wildflower or citrus. Turns out Sanchez's is a generational farm. My parents inquired about purchasing jelly, or larvae in the honeycomb, and Vic said his dad runs that farm. Pretty sweet! Sanchez's will have all your honey needs taken care of. NOTE: Call in advance for large orders of honey or bee jelly.
