We were in the area to look at some snow geese and my in-laws recommended this place and how good it was. I thought the burgers would be really good but they were a bit dry and lacked any flavor and seasonings. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and the bacon was quite small as well. Considering this is part of a meat processing plant I thought the ground burger would be the highlight, unfortunately it was the worst part of the meal. The fries looked fresh cut and they had the skin still on. They tasted really good and had the perfect amount of crunch. I ordered the onion rings and those were also really good. We also ordered a raspberry shake but it was not my favorite. It did have good flavor but I think it was just a syrup as I did not see any chunks of real raspberry in there. Of course I'm comparing a raspberry shake to a Bear Lake raspberry shake and nothing beats that. They do have a section where you can pick up some of the meat to take home so I grabbed some brats, bacon and a few other names. If you are feeling adventurous they do have a food challenge, Eat 8 1/4 pound patties And a pound of fries for only 20 bucks and you get a T-shirt. read more

Everyone working there shows pride in their work and they are happy to be there. We had the hardest time deciding because everything sounded good, our cashier was most helpful. I was driving through Delta for the first time in my life and I needed dinner. Scrolling through my options on Yelp, I laughed when I saw ABB. With a name like that, how could I *not* stop here? The reviews solidified my decision, and I pulled right in. I'll address the elephant in the room right off the bat: this place is definitely a bit grungy and/or dirty. This didn't bother me in the slightest, as it seems to fit the atmosphere of the place. For those other reviewers who cried about it, what were you expecting? After all, it says BARN right there in the name of the place! Anyway, on to the food. They offer a variety of interesting burgers as well as some other non-beef choices. I didn't think it was right to come to an eatery attached to a butcher shop and not get beef, so I ordered the nacho burger. I wasn't really in a french fry mood, but when the gal pointed out they peel and cut the potatoes in house, I caved and ordered those, too. The fries did turn out to be good, and the burger was fantastic! Lots of fresh ingredients, and it covered my hands in a cheesy, gooey mess as I ate. This was the tastiest burger I've had in quite a while. Now I am looking for other reasons to drive to/through Delta. I would eat here again in a heartbeat. read more

Me and my kid were doing some rock-hounding in Western Utah and thought we'd give this local carnivore-friendly place a try. The bad: I phone ordered, was told 10 minutes for pick up and waited 30. Kid ordered BLT with no Mayo and got Mayo. The good: tri-tip was flat out the best I ever had, and they gave me a bunch. Where do I begin... I live about 3.5 hours from Delta where this restaurant is located. After eating there I would literally drive back just to eat there again. It's a very down home feel. Definitely nothing fancy but you can tell that the employees definitely have a passion for providing good customer service. I made up my mind that I would order whatever was recommended to me by the lady taking my order. Without hesitating, she raved about the peanut butter hamburger of all things. I know what you are thinking... who the heck puts peanut butter on a burger!? Short answer: these guys and it is fantastic. They also have a full service butcher shop at the same location. Best place in town. Wouldn't recommend anywhere else this place has all you need. The Slammer is amazing. They have a meat market as well with solid prices if you want to take things home or for the road. The owner will talk to you first hand and make sure everything is how you want it. A local food haven for burgers of all kinds..a bit off the beaten path, but worth a stop if you're driving through Delta, UT. It's a casual dining joint part of the local butcher shop..."farm to form" is what one of their signs say. In such a tiny town in the middle of nowhere, you would not expect this level of yumminess. Everything we ordered was really, really good- and I am a picky foodie person from Berkeley, CA. The burger- big and juicy. The onion rings had a crispy exterior but the onion was fully cooked so that the whole thing did not pull out from the batter with your first bite. I ordered a really good French Dip sandwich with a crispy toasted roll and tender beef. Everything was delicious! The desserts looked good but we were too full to order them. read more

Menu has a good variety of food and can get deli meat and ice cream too. Burgers are big but so delicious and all meat is farm to table.

Ashton's Burger Barn is the oasis you've been searching for in the middle of the food desert of Delta. After driving through miles of scrub-brush and fields of cows we came upon this restaurant and immediately were met with the mouthwatering smell of their fresh meat cooking inside. The place is small and quaint, with very friendly staff who cook everything quickly for you and bring it out to your table. I ordered a bratwerst that was so incredibly juicy and flavorful, and I was equally blown away by the barbecue sauce and the ketchup. This was a great grab and go burger joint in the middle of nowhere. We were starving and it was the first place we could stop. They cook everything right there and it's made to order. I got the chicken baked ranch sandwich and my cousin got a regular cheese burger. Both were super juicy which was surprising as the patties were thinner than we are used to. The husband and I are glad we stopped by Delta on our road trip through Utah. We had a fabulous lunch at Ashton's, probably one of the best meals I have ever had.
