Not only do they have the candy shop staples of handmade fudge, caramel apples and other chocolate sweets, but they also serve ice cream, shakes (my personal favorite is their caramel apple pie shake) and have a whole separate room full of bulk loose, bagged and prepackaged candies, including many throwbacks from your childhood. Seriously, there's something for everyone here! Service is always fantastic. No matter how busy it gets, you're never made to feel rushed as a customer. Staff is patient, warm & welcoming and will remember you if you're a regular. As amazing as this shop is, the owner is equally as wonderful. They came ready for business! They had a variety of products and could accept any version of payment your pajama clad self offered -- including Google pay! I had a good time laughing and exchanging jibs about Garrett's popcorn in my childhood hometown -- Chicago! I was told to try the "Chicago" label from this shop. I warily agreed and promised to write what I discovered! First, let me say! Garrett's is my all time FAVORITE!! I am one of those people who would stand in the line that wraps around the block for hours in the sub zero weather just to buy a bag of the cheesy caramel mix! I have to report, with a heavy heart ... I will not be driving to Chicago for Garrett's again! As the owner promised, this popcorn is wonderful! It was WI cheesy and the caramel made me feel all Christmasy sweet and buttery inside (and I don't celebrate Christmas)! I only wish I could have had this cheesey popcorn warm right out of the kettle. I can just imagine what THAT tastes like! I will definitely have to make a trip to Cedarburg to find this shop. They're located on the second floor of the Cedar Creek Settlement (you know, the buildings with the sticky-sweet wine?) and sell Christmas stuff all year round. Everything is made in Germany, the Czech Republic or Poland and the craftsmanship is top notch. So are the prices! In addition to ornaments, they have other Christmas home decor, German woodcarvings, Advent calendars and candles and even a few German candies. They have beautiful mangers and several wooden candle "spinners" that turn from the heat given off by the candles. Super cool, but also very expensive. This kind of quality always is. Everything is made in Germany and absolutely authentic. Prices here are on par with other German Christmas decor outlets. There is also a small selection of Polish items and even some liquor filled chocolates. Get some for your Oma. She'll love them!

We spent an hour in there looking at gift items, holiday, jewelry, decor, children's and tourist/Cedarburg products. This would definitely be the place to go when shopping for a birthday, baby, bridal or housewarming gift. The variety was impressive. There were no empty spaces yet it was easy to shop. The price point was very reasonable and they have a sale area as well. The woman at the front desk of the store was super sweet. She was so friendly and chit chatted with us as if we were old friends. There is something so sweet about customer service like this. It made me want to return the next time I am in town.

Troy is the owner and we have talked with him here during both visits. He is super nice and passionate about this place. The moonshine is not what we expected- when we typically thing moonshine we think its going to burn and have no taste- not the case here. Everything we tried was delicious and could be enjoyed straight. I also love that most of the moonshine is sold in mason jars. When you visit, there are moonshine flavors available to sample- we tried Caffe Espresso (and left with a bottle of this!), pumpkin pie, and root beer. Samples are $2 and very generous! We also ordered a moonshine mixed drink to go- the blue-raspberry drink had their blue moonshine with lemonade and white grape juice (maybe vodka or something else too) - but it was delicious! We will definitely be back to visit next time we are up this way. Also- if you buy any of the mason jar moonshines, I would also get the mason jar pourer lids they sell- so much easier to pour from the jar without making a mess!
