We have several pieces of Ashley furniture but this last living set we bought is a nightmare!!!!! have had the repair guy out at least 3 times, they have even replaced the set. Just admit it made poorly and give us store credit. It has had to cost more for the replace and repair and it still is crap. I would have bought at a side of the road store and had a better outcome. So this is my last purchase of ANY Ashley brand furniture. Save your time and $$$$$$$, make sure you never by this brand. read more

We were shopping for a powered reclining couch and we found that they have so many selections to choose from! We also found great accessories for my sons room and they even took an extra 25% off. Our sales lady Donna gave us two free pillows to go with the comforter we chose. My husband was assisted by Preston the night before and he was very helpful. David C. My wife and I purchase our adjustable beds and mattress king size and bedroom furniture on February 10, 2018. Being first time customers of Ashley Furniture on Broadway Tyler, Texas was lied to but went back after the sale and they made it right with us but I had to drive 160 miles back to the store for them to make it right it after the sale that is still the nightmare. The store kind of wash their hands after the sale here it is April 5, 2018 have had three deliveries of furniture that so far a need a headboard, footboard, and a chest. Sent them back they were bang up and this is not what happen in back of the truck this is what happens in the warehouse when it been sitting there two or three years. Then some of it the manufacture (Ashley) can't seem to put funiture together and make it look good. Who ever is putting this furniture together needs glasses. The chest whe they made it the rails for the drawers was not on track looking at the chest you can see in the drawers. Still waiting on my furniture all I want is my furniture looking desent and I promise Ashley will never hear from me again. I have a life. By the way my wife has called the store three times and complain about how we haven't got our furniture yet she has got not our problem any more call customer service they have got their money. Ashley Homestore in Tyler, TX is literally the worst experience i've ever had anywhere! My husband and I had trouble even ordering in the store what we needed, the people helping us messed everything up, ordered the wrong things while we were there and then did not know how to add delivery to our order. We were there passed closing hours. If that wasnt enough, this was in December of 2017. It is now March 20, 2018 and I am STILL waiting on our chair and a half to arrive, it has been backordered several times and keeps being promised to us by a certain time and it never happens. Our rug that we finally just got was first shipped to the wrong address, i had to go through a lady in Memphis just to get another one shipped to us, after Tyler supposedly already had, but could not give me any tracking information on it or tell me anything about it. At one point one of the sales representatives even refused to speak with me and told me she would only speak with my husband, when i am also on the account. She would not let me talk with the manager either. My dining room table and chairs is the only thing that arrived within i believe a month, and one of the wooden chairs was cracked, we were promised a new one shipped to us but I seriously doubt it. We also ordered a couch that just arrived about 2 weeks ago. Our new rug arrived about 1 week ago, after me getting the run around about it this whole time, and now we are waiting still for our chair and a half. We confirmed delivery for today and now they are saying we are not on their delivery schedule. I am not surprised and I will not be back. I do not recommend this place, unless you want to wait 6 months for it all. read more

We ordered a table in April of this year and when it was delivered it was damaged . I decided to keep it because we had family coming in and ordered another one . Since then it has been delivered 5 times and every time it has been damaged . We decided to keep the first table because it was the better one . I will never ever order from them again ! If you want your furniture delivered on time on the day you ask DO NOT SHOP HERE. I bought a new bedroom set about 3-4 weeks out from my move to my apartment. I also purchased a mattress. These were two separate transactions and on both of the forms I wrote my cell number and my delivery address. The night before my move I had received a text about my delivery for my mattress only. I called Ashley and confirmed that my furniture would be delivered the next day with my mattress. They assured me it would - but it would be delivered to the wrong address. I thought I corrected the issue and gave them the correct address - sure it would be later than anticipated, but I was still getting my furniture. Come this morning I call again to verify that my furniture will be here. No, it won't be here. I understand that waiting an extra day might now be a huge deal - but I paid a pretty nice sized delivery fee and scheduled this 3-4 weeks out to ensure something like this would not happen. Also, about a week prior I switched items that I would be getting for my bedroom set and the woman who sold me my furniture tried to be slick and not give me my nearly $250 refund saying that "the difference isn't that much." Nice try, Barbara. Roxy, who I spoke with on the phone was professional and as helpful as she could be, but this was not her job or place to fix the issue at hand but I do appreciate it. read more

Despite reviews we were blown away by the variety and attractiveness of the furniture. Some of the furniture seemed to be in good quality but when we took a closer look we realized tables and beds weren't actually that sturdy. As we continued to look, Josh, a sales rep came to help us by persisting us to fill out a credit card application. Our first response was no, that we would talk to him after we looked at the rest of our options. He continued to nag us by bringing out the application and setting up a place to fill out the paperwork. He assured us nothing could go wrong. Then he took both of our drivers license and debit cards to the back, this instantly made us feel uncomfortable about the whole situation. When we were finished we started looking again and noticed he left his computer. This is located middle of the store, on the computer desk was all of our information exposed for all to see. Anyone could have taken all of our information, social, addresses etc just by swiping the papers off the desk. I took a picture of this and after the whole experience we decided we didn't want to buy from Ashley regardless of how much credit we would be approved for. My fiancé asked for our information back and Josh laughed at him, papers in hand and said oh no you don't get these back. Well I'm sorry but we will never go back to an Ashley's Furniture store. read more

Our horrible experience with the Ashley Furniture Store on Broadway in Tyler Texas. We went shopping in Tyler Texas for Christmas gifts on Black Friday 2016 we stopped at Ashley's furniture on Broadway looking for a Dinette set with more room for the holidays, I found one I liked and I was thinking of paying cash, but we were told that we could finance for 12 months with no interest, I paid half of the total and agreed to finance the rest, we weren't given any kind of contract that night, just a folder with forms telling us that we had so many days to cancel the sale, later on I found out they had charged us $129 for a furniture plan we were told they weren't charging us for, that's only a small part of all this ordeal. The dinette set was delivered ($99 fee for that) and the top of the table was badly gouged so we refused it, they brought us our replacement the next week (3 days before family coming for Christmas) guess what..it was the same badly damaged table and it had been poorly repaired, it was left there until the "real" replacement was brought to us, the delivery guy said that was the only way to make sure they didn't keep sending us that same table over and over again, sad isn't it...but that's what he said. January comes and this loan shark Finance company they financed us with sent us a statement, I made a payment for a lot more than my minimum payment, we were charged a $49 set up fee but I let that slide, Feb. comes and I get my next statement, over half of my payment in January went for interest (36.99%) I contacted the finance company and they tell us we never got a 0% interest payment plan so I call the furniture store, they said yes but you only got a 6 month no interest plan not 12 months, OK but I was only on my first payment and had already paid 36.99% interest, I call the finance company again and they tell us to send a copy of that file showing deferred interest from the furniture store, my husband drove over to Tyler (we live in Nacogdoches) to get a copy and guess what..apparently no copy exists, so I call the store back and they give me this wild story about how we have deferred interest for 6 months but it's up to the finance company whether we would pay any interest..WHAT? the last time I talked to the people at the store I was told yes they had written down in our files and would dispute it for us with the finance company, but guess what? she can have the sales person call me back and go over it with him...another person who lied to us. I'm going to pay the total off tomorrow but I feel so sorry for hard working people who don't have the money because otherwise I'd be trapped into paying almost half of every payment in interest, I thought Ashley Furniture was a reputable company but my experience with the Tyler store has been a nightmare, if you speak to anyone over the phone please get their names, I got the "I don't know who you talked to last time" even though I recognized the lady's voice on all 3 calls. My family purchased a new Tempur-pedic bed from Ashley furniture in Tyler, Tx. This was a king size bed with a special frame for allowing to adjust the position of the bed. (Ergo King Tempur-pedic was the exact name) I would like to say the staff was super friendly and helpful. Now, here's my review....This bed is the most uncomfortable bed we have ever slept on. Our purchase was slightly under $6000.00 for a BED!! A bed that is suppose help back and neck pain, not make the problems far worse than before our purchase. We cant sleep on it! We contacted the store told them of our situation and they told us we have to keep the bed for 30 days before they can help us, and at that point all they will do is exchange it for a softer version of the same mattress. You would think after making such a large purchase on one product that the store and/or Tempur- Pedic would want satisfied customers and do what is necessary to keep a customer. Hell, it could of been store credit on the purchase of something else, something that we could have been happy with. PEOPLE DO NOT BUY A TEMPUR-PEDIC BED!!! I don't usually write a review, but people have to be told how awful the service is at this store. I purchased a sleeper sofa on July 17, 2015 and was told delivery would be Aug. 20, then Sept, then Oct. 7, now today told Oct. 13! The salesperson, promised me there was a sofa with my name on it to be delivered by Oct. 7. This is unacceptable. I was called today and the rep. said they could deliver on Oct. 10, which we will be out, so then was told it was not coming in until the 12th. I am very tired of the run around and my card was charged in July, so now interest has accrued and months later, still no sofa. This is very frustrating and disappointing. The salesperson promised to have it here by Oct. 7. It took me a while to find what I wanted and now wish I had shopped elsewhere. read more

The corporate office reached out to me and resolved all of the issues we had with our purchases from this store. I only gave 1 star because I will never buy from this particular Ashley location again but I give the corporate employee who helped straighten this mess out 5 stars! My thanks to her. Bought couch and love seat quality was not the same as in the store wanted a refund said they do not give refunds at all only another piece of junk furniture or repair the new one ?? They are very different after they get your money. If I could give this company 0 stars that would be the most appropriate. I have had nothing but drama and terrible terrible customer service. When I ordered my furniture it took several more weeks to receive it than promised and it took me having to go pick the furniture up from the warehouse to actually get it. Once I had it, I realized the quality was not at all like the displays in the store but realized it too late to return. Good thing I had the extended warranty... NOT! Calling into customer service was even worse. They told me too email them pictures of the sofa and then NEVER called back to send a service person. This was after doing this multiple times. It took 3 months to get the first part repaired and the second part is still not completed. After being called a liar about telling them the service man didn't show up when I took the day off to make sure I was home all day, the supervisor was still extremely rude. After researching several reviews, I now know this service is typical for this company. I only hope that this review helps future furniture shoppers to not make the same mistake I did. I will never use Ashley Furniture ever again and will be sure to let everyone I know so they don't buy there as well. read more

When my parents and I first walked in we were greeted by the assistant store manager who asked what we were looking for, a mattress. She took me to the most expensive one first... granted I did not tell her a price range. But kept creeping down to the lower price points that I was looking for. She was very knowledgeable about the beds, and when we said we wanted to look at one other store she kind of began bashing them about what services they could not offer us and how Ashley was the best, etc. We still went to check the other store to be sure. But ended up feeling like the better choice was at Ashley. Filled out the app, got approved, and they said the warehouse would be calling me to set up a delivery time. Well the following Thursday (I bought the mattress the previous Friday), I was worried bc we had not received a call. So I decided to call them. Well...the assistant store manager had typed in the wrong area code for my phone number that I had WRITTEN DOWN for her, she just assumed it was a 903 area code I guess and didn't pay attention to that minor detail. But the woman that answered the phone was very nice in informing me of the mistake and transferred me to the warehouse where I could speak to them about delivery. Apparently, they had tried to come that morning and obviously we weren't there. But he said we can deliver is tomorrow morning between 8:30-11:30. I agreed reluctantly because I teach a class at 9:40 and was scared I wouldn't make it in time. But they showed up at 8:11 and had the bed set up and were leaving by 8:30. So I was the first on their drop off list, I like to think because of the phone error I was pushed to the top. The buying experience was pleasant and the delivery guys were professional and nice. Deducting a star simply because of the phone number incident, just annoying. read more
