Zero stars! The service is red flags and I wish I would have just walked out but I bought a mattress.... First of the red flags: the salesman talked me into applying for credit.... He sneakily tried to put a 20000 dollar amount to be approved. Second red flag: ran over to skip over screens thinking I would not see the 35% interest and then played dumb when I asked. Third red flag: messed up the ticket and added other things( felt like he was hoping I would not notice) Fourth red flag: talked me into doing their in house lease when I just wanted to pay cash.... FYI this added about 700 to the total when I paid it off a week later.....( they charge tax on each payment, fine print warning) This is sneaky sales tackets, I fell for it so please beware so you do not fall for it. Be Careful when ordering anything online from this store, 1st They deliver 5 to 6 weeks after you order and they wait till the last minute to cancel your order with out a call or anything to let you know they are out of stock. I ordered a recliner loveseat from them I had talked to a online person about my order on June 18th to find out when it was coming they said the 23rd or 24th I should get it or a call, text or email to setup the deliver. The next day I get a email saying my order was cancelled no reason or anything so I call them they never even tried to make it right just kept saying I am so sorry that it was cancelled. Paid $500 for a couch warranty and it is a huge time consuming nightmare to try to get a hold of these people to get any sort of repair scheduled. They are happy to take your money for the warranty, but I've never seen a group of people drag their feet so hard when actually trying to fulfill the warranty. Since they were unable to fulfill our warranty, we've reached out to them for a refund approximately 30 times with a cancellation number and have yet to receive our money back after about a year of trying. Overall, kind of a crooked corporate set up that makes it easy for them to take your money, but impossible to get it back in the most dishonest of ways. read more

Where do I start...ZERO STARS...when we first went, we were impressed and happy with service. We put in our order for two bedrooms, living room, dining room, and some other furniture items in December. We were realistic to know about waiting a month, maybe two for some items. Now March... we just received some furniture in January and February, then the couch two weeks ago, still missing barstools (which would be the fourth time they would have deliver them because they either came damaged or not the quantity ordered), wrong bed set delivered, and still missing some more furniture. There has not been enough or any communication. I have to be the one on top of them. The are so disorganized and are not even communicating well with each other. Delivery has a hot mess of orders that they don't know what to do with and sales/manufacturing must have some type of disconnect of communication with delivery as well. Not enough delivery people either. If it wasn't that we're done shopping around, we would cancel our whole order. NEVER ordering from here again. read more

DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY!!! Several days ago, we went to Ashley Furniture in Longview and paid #936.34 for a recliner. First, the sales staff at the store were indifferent. We said that we wanted a leather manual recliner. The salesman, ROB MARIS, seemed befuddled and then said that he "didn't think" they had a leather manual recliner. We then looked for ourselves with no assistance from the sales staff and a manual leather recliner on the floor. We then paid in full for the recliner - plus $99 for "WHITEGLOVE PREMIUM HOME DELIVERY." It was to be delivered today and we lost a day's pay to stay home for the delivery - but then we got notified that the delivery driver could not find our house, so he just skipped our delivery. We tried to call the Longview store, but it seems that customers cannot call and talk to anyone at the store. Instead, we were subjected to several options on the phone, which eventually connected with some "Customer Service" person who was apparently in the Philippines or some other Asian country. When we asked how we could talk to the Longview store directly, she hung up on us! Tomorrow, we are going to the Longview store and demand a refund. Do not be fooled with how nice or heavy the furniture is. It's junk I bought 2 bedroom suites from this location. Besides the fact that the delivery took 6 months to long everything was ok. Then we started noticing that the finish on the bed and night stands were chipping. This was 6 months after the furniture showed up. I call the store and was supposed to have a service rep contact me. They never did. My living room furniture came from havertys. I have not had one single problem out of those pieces. The price of the furniture I bought from Ashley's was about the same as bedroom suites from havertys. Do yourself a favor and buy from a more quality dealer that will back there product. read more

I paid over $680 for shipping (which I was not told) on a $5000 order and they forgot a bench on the order that was worth a couple hundred bucks so I called to complain about the missing piece and the shipping and they won't change the shipping and will sell me the bench for $140, but that all they can do! Do not by memory foam mattress from Ashley! We bought our Sealy memory foam mattress in 2012. It has a ten year warranty. In Nov. 2020 I requested that Ashley have someone come out to inspect the mattress as it was sagging badly. A work order was entered into computer and was told someone would call. I finally called them. Call #1 Was informed that the ticket was closed because they could not reach me. They had both land line (answering machine) and cell phone (voicemail) Man set up a new work order and told me someone would call. Call #2 Week and a half later. I was told order had not been set up and that I had no item that was still under warranty. She went to talk to someone, came back and set up new service order. they would call me. Call #3 Two weeks later I called again. Was asked did I send pictures??? No previous mention of pictures. Was told I had to send pictures showing tags of mattress, picture of mattress with pad and one without pad. She said call back and tell them to attach pictures to work order. Call #4 Called back after I sent pictures. Was told they did not receive them. To send them again. So I did. Call #5 Called back and told lady to attach pictures. She told me that she could not access that area. !!!!! Finally on March 21st I received an email stating that since there is a stain on mattress that the warranty is void! (very faint stain) She stated that I needed to take it up with pad people. I got the mattress pad from Ashley the day we bought mattress. Absolutely the worst furniture buying experience I have ever had. Purchased two matching power recliners and three other items on 4/16/19 with anticipated delivery on 5/01. All items including the recliners posted to my MasterCard on 4/21. I received a call from "corporate", not from the store, that the three other items would be delivered on time but the recliners would be delayed until 5/11, then it was 5/18, then 5/28. David, the store manager, told me after the third delay notice that my delivery charge would be reimbursed and it has not been as of this review. The sales person and manager kept passing the delays off as a problem with "corporate" but they sure didn't try to keep track of things for their customer either. On 5/27 I received another call from " corporate " telling me the recliners we're out of stock and the earliest I might expect them would be sometime in July! When I went to the Tyler store on 5/29 they were totally unaware of the out-of-stock situation. I asked for, and received a credit to my MasterCard for the amount of the recliners but I'm still waiting for the delivery reimbursements. * * The delivery charge has now been credited to my credit card. read more

First off, the good..... Our salesman was friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to help us. The bed we bought is exactly what we were looking for. Wonderful quality, and we are thrilled with our purchase. Next, the bad.... We were called on Monday to let us know our bed would be delivered on Tuesday between 3:15 and 6:15. Great! Well, my husband took the day off work to be home for the delivery, and prepare our bedroom. We were told we would receive a call when they were on the way. Well, when 5:30 came and went with no call, we called the office. The operator (Who was very, very nice, BTW) apologized and told us our delivery was scheduled for Friday. Grrrrrr. Ok, no problem. He took another half day off from work. Last, the ugly.... When our delivery arrived, my husband was given an iPad by the driver with a video he apparently "had" to watch. It was a video about Donald Trump, religion and a charity. After watching, he was handed a phone so he could tell whoever was on the other end that he did, in fact, watch said video. Um, not ok. Regardless of how we lean politically, or religiously, we don't allow that type of proselytizing in our home. Someone needs to tell the powers that be those techniques are what alienates people. We will no longer spend any money at any Ashley Home Store. It was just such a turn off. It's a shame, too. While we waited in store for our sales person to write up our order, we picked out another $3k in living room furniture we were planning on going back for. In conclusion..... They were super duper rude to me. Wasted 4 hours of my time for them to tell me that i dont make enough money to have a bed to sleep on. They made it seem like it was practical and easy to finance. When i got there they should have started with the financing. They should have checked to see how much i could afford to finance at their store. After 2 hours of my time being wasted i went to the financing area to figure out my financing but they just ended up wasting 2 more hours of my time while telling me i dont make enough money, should go back to school now or i never will, and go to church. Bought a couch and recliner of apparently crappy quality from Ashley. They were broken in the first year and continue to fall apart. The "extended warranty" that I was told would cover "anything" is less than useless - doesn't cover anything other than a minor tear or stain. Even getting a small rip that the delivery guys caused fixed was a pain in the ass, as the servicemen only work during normal business hours, and couldn't specify a time window or anything - so had to take a day off work to be there for them. NEVER buy the no use no lose warranty. Mine matured 90 days ago and I am still trying to get them to honor it. I have left 6 messages with the owner and Dave has NEVER called me back. I have been shuffled between Candy and the salesmen. I was told one 2 occasions that my furniture had been ordered only to find out that was not true. It was to be delivered and it was set up for pick up instead. I have made more than 40 phone calls to the store and no one seems to know how to honor the warranty. Ordered furniture understanding it would be delivered in mid-August which they said it could take a while. The first time it was scheduled for delivery we waited during work hours at our house for their 3 -hr window. They never showed then I called and they said the headboard was damaged so they would need to wait on a new one which is fine. The dispatcher with the delivery team laughed when he said there was nothing that could be done that I would just have to wait. I waited at our house for their three hour window again today and watched a truck drive bu our house then back again. It was raining so I assumed it would be delivered later in the 3-hr window but they didnt call. When I called to ask what happened I was told there was an issue but it would be delivered tomorrow by the delivery team. When I asked to speak to someone with Ashley Furniture they told me to call back into the number and select option 4. The nice customer service rep told me that there was a note that the headboard was busted (issue from the first time) and they would have yo wait to get me an update. I told her the delivery team said it would be delivered tomorrow so it couldnt be the headboard but she said that was all that had been input in the system. I asked for a refund and she said I could call tomorrow to process it so I have been pushed aside for 5 hours now and cant get anyone just to let me cancel and get my money back so I can buy a bed for my kid. Well let's just start off with I went and looked at there furniture and found a couch and love seat that fit my budget & needs. It was delivered in the back of a chevy p/u not a moving truck are big van are closed in trailer. Yes" p/u truck They brought it in and set it up. They were gone a few hours and by then store was closed so I called the store to let them know that the back of the loveseat was broken. Lady on the phone said well honey I'm sorry there's nothing we can do because you bought the furniture as it because it came off the floor. Duh" REALLY I thought everyone done that. They blowed me off until I called corporate office and got the run around for several days. They were treating me like this was some Billy Bob's used car lot I was boiling mad at this point. But I contacted and Attorney that was more then welcome to help. Then I get a phone call to come to store and pick out something else. I did that and it ended up being 1000.00 more on top of the 4500.00 I already spent. Do not recommend this furniture store. I ordered my furniture in August, didn't get it till the end of October. That's wasn't the problem. Moe, the salesman did his job. It's afterwards that became the problem: Ashley Store does not provide a tracking number for updates, nor do they ever answer the phone. Had to leave work just to get delivery information and the receptionist (blondish brown/middle age lady) acted like she was the manager. She definitely did not want to hear about the phone issues! Do not buy your furniture from here. A year ago in July of 2019, I purchased a total of $5,769.62 worth of furniture for my new house. Justin was the salesman who helped me and he was great salesman. He told me to call him anytime with concerns or questions and he would be happy to help. Once the furniture was purchased, Justin was no help and gave me the customer service number to call. Since a year of owning the furniture, I have replaced my sofa twice due to the usb on the side of the furniture not working any longer and the couch no longer reclining. I paid a total of 599.99 for GBS 5yr protection. This has been nothing but a hassle to deal with and now on the third time of needing to get this sofa exchanged I'm now asked to take a photo of the damage to see if they need to send a repairman or replace the furniture. Their goal is simple. Sell you extremely cheap furniture for astronomical prices and hope you do not hold on the phone for 30 minutes for customer service or jump through the many hoops to get your warranty taken care of. Do not buy from here. This place is basically a scam to first time furniture buyers. There are so many better options. I will continue to jump through all of these hoops until my warranty is done, but after that, I can't wait to set fire to this sofa that only has a comfort that last for about a month. As a shopper I enjoyed my experience here. I have been to furniture stores where they chase you around and try to sell you on every piece, and that gets annoying. We had plenty of people offer to help us but also give us our space. The ordering process always takes a little bit of time but it was fairly straightforward. If I could give a negative star I would. First off, they said my sisters bedroom set was going to be delivered few weeks ago on a Friday. Then they call the DAY OF and say they aren't because they're back ordered. Which isn't an issue, I know they can't help that but the day of? We took off work to help set up so for them to notify us not even at 8am, is so extremely unprofessional and just overall rude. They tell us they're going to be here August 19th to deliver. Okay no problem right? No. They call us again, the day of, and tell them they're actually coming to deliver FRIDAY!! They also said "they don't even do deliveries on Mondays". We were understanding the first time but still a bit upset, but again? If that was the case why did you schedule a delivery on Monday?? What's wrong with Monday's? We have first day of school 2 days after Friday. She was supposed to move in 2 weeks ago so she could live comfortably before school starts. Now we have to rush to get things together, and I bet money come Friday, they'll make up an excuse again! Just a hot mess for no reason. I was approved for financing thru a credit company or "in house financing". Well I decided to go with what I thought was in house financing with Ashley Furniture. Turns out it's Rent A Center financing! If I wanted to pay more than double the price for furniture, I would have just gone directly to RAC. Very misleading!! I was NEVER told once during filling out the paperwork for financing that if I didn't have this paid in 90 days, I would be paying more than double for this furniture or that I was signing a contract with RAC!! My husband and I bought a leather sofa/love from this location paid if off bought a extended warranty and found that it was fading on a small spot. Called the store on Friday January 8th was informed to call GBS to handle it, did that on Monday GBS took my complaint and gave me the short version of it not being under warranty they do not cover fading but to call store back and the original manufacturer. Called Ashley back again on Monday the11th spoke with a man that kindly told me to send in pic of fade and they would either replace or repair and to call back in an hour to give them time to look it over did that too called back and Domingue answered the phone and told me to send in another pic to a different email, did that and put me on hold. She then came back and lost connection so even though they had my phone number I had to call again. Had to wait another 30 minutes until Alicia got on the phone who introduced herself as the conflict resolution adviser. First of all she came on the phone with an attitude and I let her say what she had to say, she informed me that my warranty did not cover the fade ok I can accept that but why waste my time. I had been on the phone trying to deal with this for over 2 1/2 hours why would they tell me that they would be able to help and now to just brush me off but when she said that I didn't know her and she didn't know me that is correct. She doesn't know me but I know where she works. Now I'm not a violent person at all but if she is the conflict resolution person to contact when you have a complaint everyone in that store is in danger when she comes across the wrong person on the wrong day. She has no customer service skills or ability to know how to correctly speaks to people that assist in paying her salary. When you get on the phone with that type of attitude there is nowhere to go but down. The way she spoke to me tells me that it is not the first time and that it is common because she sounded common. It is sad that some people can not be given any type of title because they do not possess the intelligence to be able to handle it. Now as far as Ashley reading all the other reviews makes me feel better because I know that it is only a matter of time before we all see the closing store sign in the window. My mother always told me that a bought lesson is a taught lesson. I feel sorry for the other employees at this location because if she has this little respect for a customer I can only imagine how she treats her fellow employees. So will a complaint to the manager who she refused to tell me their name matter, no it won't because the problem always starts at the top. These people harassed me for over three months, called my phone every single day, and emailed me trying to get me to take a second couch after we had told a manager, warehouse associate, and store associate on numerous occasions that we already had our couch. They never delivered the table we ordered but kept calling about the couch. They even came to our house with the couch on multiple occasions. We declined it a gazillions times but they just kept on so we finally took the couch because we felt forced into it and told someone who needed a couch they could have it. Well guess what now Ashleys furniture has charged my account for the couch and never even refunded me for the table that never came. They harassed me, and now are charging me for something they refused to keep no matter how many times I said I did not purchase it, and charge me for something I never got. I am beyond belief at the horribleness this company would do to someone. Please do not buy from Ashleys. I will make sure I put this review everywhere until they call me back and resolve this. However, we decided to pick up the furniture ourselves; and when we went to get it, they had misplaced our love seat. For that, I am deducting 1 star. We went in to the Tyler store this weekend in search of a guest bed. Tre listened to what we were looking for in style and price and immediately showed us a bed that fit our our exact needs. We were very pleased to not have a typical furniture store up sell on things out of our price range. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because we had to go elsewhere for our matress set to be reasonably priced. Great experience though and we would shop here again! read more

The worst furniture purchase ever. We have several pieces of Ashley furniture but this last living set we bought is a nightmare!!!!! have had the repair guy out at least 3 times, they have even replaced the set. Just admit it made poorly and give us store credit. It has had to cost more for the replace and repair and it still is crap. I would have bought at a side of the road store and had a better outcome. So this is my last purchase of ANY Ashley brand furniture. Save your time and $$$$$$$, make sure you never by this brand. read more
