I had purchased a bunk bed for my daughter from beds and bunks 2 go. It was a mess from start - two days before delivery they told me they wouldn't do set up for me anymore. Most likely cause they knew they couldn't - when we tried we realized the holes had been drilled wrong so hardware for bottom bed couldn't be attached. It took them two days to even agree there was a problem. Three weeks later it still wasn't resolved and they were not responding to my texts. When I told them I either needed fixed by that week or i was returning bed, they immediately replied and told me I was welcome to return the bed. No apology or reassurance or would be fixed or anything. So I brought it back. Then I went to Ashley to find a new bed. Linda was great and showed me all options and was very patient as I tried to figure out what I wanted to do. Once I had the bed picked out delivery - with set up - was arranged for two days later. It came on time and the two very nice guys had it set up within half an hour, and cleaned up all trash after themselves. Everyone who saw both beds have said how much better the Ashley bed is then the one from beds and bunks, and my daughter even noticed that there are three times the amount of support slats under the top bunk on the Ashley bed then there was on the other bed. And the Ashley bed was same exact price read more

Ok. I'm a forgiving guy and obsessed with honestly. I've had bad experiences with the corporate world, but not all people or corporations are necessarily bad (just most). It turns out they did refund me for the mattress cover after I threw a hissy fit with my favorite credit card company. THEY like me because I'm honest and they don't mind me standing up for what's right (like being reliable, fair and not manipulative). I still believe their default refusal to take back defective merchandise (in this case a mattress cover that did not fit with (breath in) 46 one star reviews on the manufacturer's own website for the same reason) does not cut it. The rest of the review is true but I am raising their rating to 3 stars for paying for the broken planter, and refunding us for the mattress cover we could not use. They still get poor marks for the "Ashley Cash" draw backs. Please see previous review. Lastly, I did notice a fair number of African American and Latino salesman which is to their favor. At 62, this old back-to-the-country boy supports BLM and Joe Biden and immediate action on climate change. read more

First off for anyone that doesn't know Ashley and Sam Levitz, Same ownership, same business so that means same issues. That is where I went wrong. I already had a miserable experience with Sam Levitz but totally unaware Ashley is related, until the end of my shopping and time to pay for my purchases. I certainly should have walked away and I did not. I did stop though, gave it some serious consideration but foolishly proceeded. My purchases? Mattress/box spring, lovely dresser and headboard/footboard. I was told upfront the headboard/footboard would be delivered May 10. Which was fine. The other purchases were delivered when expected. Then the phone calls started with updates on the HB/FB which included later dates of delivery with each of course. After the 5 the call and being told delivery date would be now late August, NO, I'm done! I'm canceling the order and you're giving me my money back. Since it was the salesman calling he said he'd have to have a cashier in his office call me. Yeah, I trust you doing that I'm thinking. By 3:00 pm the following day I had not received a phone call. That started a whole other explosion. Suffice to say I did get my money credited back to my card for the HB/FB This experience taught me a lesson. Sharing this can help save the next person like me the same aggravation and disappointment. Avoid this business. I gave 2 stars because I did get 2 pieces on time. That's all. The dresser is lovely. But I should have avoided all of this knowing what I knew about Sam Levitz could be a problem with Ashley and as it turned out it is!!!! read more

Bought this set with extended warranty a little over a year ago. It has been "serviced" under warranty. New cushions cut to prevent the rolling of fabric. Still rolls. Now height of sofa is so high my feet don't touch the ground and I'm 5'7". The fabric has pilled horribly which is not covered. The back pillows were plumped up with bagged filling which lasted about a month. Just so disappointed as we trusted our sales person who doesn't answer calls once purchase is complete. Company will do nothing to assist. Buyer beware. read more

Ashley Store - 1 yr old used half year by 2 60 yr olds - Furniture Stores Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

This is a really nice store, they treat you good until pay for the furniture then they forget about you. We came in during Christmas time we got two bedroom sets supposed to be here on middle of February it is now April and every time I call there fewer items. Worst experience ever how do you sell something you don't have. SHOULD BE ABBLE TO DO ZERO STARS OR NEGATIVE STARS read more

Ashley Homestore offers significantly better quality and aesthetics than does Sam Levitz (even though they occupy virtually the same space and use the same financing). I'm happy with the selection here; the furniture is very classy in my opinion and you can even style your home with the small budget items like rugs, lamps, throw pillows, etc. as each room is staged and every item is priced with a conspicuous tag. Financing is usually very accommodating (no interest for 6-12 months depending on your credit). They usually have everything on display in-stock and can deliver within the week. You'll usually pay on the order of moderate to pricey for any items found here. They have a wealth of associates that will assist you upon entering and I've never felt that they were predatory, as you might expect when the employees work off of commission. In fact, I appreciate that they only have approached me when I've shown clearly apparent interest. In my opinion Ashley is probably the best big-name furniture store in Tucson. I would not recommend Sam Levitz or Circus Furniture. read more

This store is awfully incompetent or even vindictive. After spending thousands, we received a defective couch - and Ashley has now come to our house FOUR TIMES with the wrong replacement piece. Each time is a half day off of work, of course. Avoid this store - they are great at the sales pitch but horrible at delivering. read more

Pretty disappointed in my experience with these guys. I spent $2200 on a home entertainment center and for that amount of money I expect a pretty good experience, but getting this thing delivered and installed was a headache. Day of delivery: window for delivery was between 12 and 4pm. Truck shows up at 6:55pm and starts to unload. At this point I am told that one of the bookshelves is damaged and they would need to deliver a new one 2 days later. Delivery guy assures me that the appointment is set and I would get a confirmation call within 15 minutes. 2 hours later I call and they had to record of scheduling the appointment. Delivery #2: window for delivery is between 8am - 12pm, truck shows up after 1pm. 3 guys for the install that don't know what they are doing. Finally they get it put together and I notice right after they left that they had over screwed the bookshelf and damaged it on both sides. Email my salesman and some guy with crappy customer service calls me and scheduled the appointment for the next Monday. Delivery #3: Shows up in the middle of the time window and does the install. I had to explain to them how it had to go together. They were careful though and got it done. Conclusion: after calling and complaining I ended up getting 5% back which to me is nothing compared to 3 wasted days off waiting around for them. People spend their hard earned money, you would think that they would have trained drivers that know how to install the products and find a way to make it right as soon as possible. Very unorganized. read more

Very poor quality control and customer service. Would avoid and take your business elsewhere. Bought a couch, loveseat and chair. Delivery was delayed multiple times. When delivered, two of the items had visible damage. A few additional deliveries over a few weeks also included damaged items that were returned. Subsequently was told that the furniture was discontinued. This was all a total waste of time over a few months. read more

I've shopped here before. Should not have returned, but the quality of furniture appears to be very good. i have a problem with their sales people and office staff. This place is spooky. Was interested in information on mattresses. They had quite a selection, but was routed to an expensive model, before even shown the choices I had. Started out with one salesperson, but soon after another salesperson joined in. Who was this person? I thought he was a mngr assisting the new hire. No. Just another sales person. Not a good sales person; indifferent, not interested in being where he was, just not a comfortable place at that time. This place is spooky with the feeling you are being watched at every move. If you work off commission, this is not how you approach a sale. I bought a pillow, but after inquiring from the back store room, or where ever they get their stock, I was informed they did not have it for me to purchase and take home that day, it could be ordered and delivered. Really?? A pillow?? Delivery was to be brought to my house by a truck from the warehouse. A box truck just to deliver a pillow?? Okay. No cost to me for the delivery so I went ahead with the sale. I don't get this whole process. My initial purchase a few months past was so much of a hassle, what with delays, delays, and more delays it too much to write about. Just a bad company to deal with not matter what they call themselves, my advise is to not shop here at all. Buyer. Beware! read more

Purchased a mattress from this store instead of online solely because they said they would take away the old mattress. 1- never received an email confirming the delivery date/time, luckily we work from home. 2- The guy who delivered mattress refused to take the old one, said call the store, the store had NO RECORD of the sale supposedly but we pulled up the sale online and chatted- and we're told repeatedly it would be picked up- we would receive an email (ya right). After a week we called again spoke w/ the asshole they gave the worlds worst job to, she was useless, clueless and rude, transferred us twice then cut us off completely. Three years ago I purchased an entire bedroom set from Ashley Furniture/Sam Levitz. I had just purchased a new house and they delivered it and set it up for me. Fast forward three years, I had been sleeping in the bed but it had never moved from the spot they set it up and all of a sudden it was sort of dropping every time we got into bed. We moved the mattress and boxspring and found that the entire support system under the bed was broken. Not only was it broken, but because it broke it scratched up my hard wood floors to the point they are not fixable, I'll need to replace my whole floor in the room. I went back to Ashley to see if they could help direct me to a way to fix it. Turns out I had purchased the extended warranty and so they sent someone to my house to take a look at it. The person from Ashley Furniture told me that when they (Ashley employees) put the bed together, they put it together incorrectly. He advised me to call customer service in 2 days after he filed his report from the visit. When I called customer service two days later they were not helpful and in fact told me that it was my fault for choosing a bed with the type of support system I did. Who blames the customer during a call discussing what they caused this entire issue by not putting the bed together correctly? (In TWO PLACES!!!!!!) After a couple of weeks of considering my options, I decided to purchase a new bed using the credit they would give me for my set. I was hesitant to purchase it from Ashley again but the sales people were so nice and gave me every indication that they, and the store, would be on top of everything to "make it right". That was hardly the case. I picked out a new bedroom furniture set, a mattress and a boxspring. They lied about the amount they were giving me and the promotion going on at the time (that they didn't ever resolve with me to this day), they ordered a completely different headboard than what I chose, they tried to deliver it and I refused delivery...which come to find out they didn't even have the bed I picked out available to me. So I chose ANOTHER different bed. Then they tried to deliver the boxspring weeks after the purchase when it came in but they scheduled delivery without ever speaking to me and then just called about 15 minutes before they were at my door! The boxspring they brought in was damaged and clearly cut by razor or boxcutter. I refused delivery again. If I'm paying full price for this furniture, I expect it to be perfect. I also tried speaking to them about the credits for my old furniture and the promotion that I was told I received and they didn't have the answers and never called me back. I tried MULTIPLE times to call and leave messages for the manager of the store to call me and they couldn't be bothered to pick up the call. DON'T GO TO ASHLEY FURNITURE on Pantano and Broadway. They don't care about customer service. They don't care about fixing what they broke. And they certainly don't stand behind their work, service, or products. read more

On Nov 14, 2023 I put a down payment on a couch. I was told that the couch I purchased would be in stock on Dec 10, 2023. I finished paying it off on Dec 7, 2023. I was then told after finishing my purchase, that the couch was on back order until mid December. Mid December came around and my salesman called me and said it would be end of Dec/early Jan. Every time I called, I would get the same excuse, still on back order. On March 8, 2024, the Asst. Manager called me saying that the couch was actually discontinued and blamed the previous owner (Sam Levitz) for the issue. I was told I could get my money back or get a different couch with the $781.54 credit I had. I went in the store the next day March 9, 2024, and picked a different couch. I had a difference of $78.07 owed to me after the purchase. The salesman told me he did not know who was sending out the refund checks, but it would be mailed to me. I still have not received that check for the difference of $78.07. On top of that, last week on the 21st of March, I received an email confirming the delivery of my couch for March 25th. The couch was not delivered and no one called me to tell me it wouldn't be delivered. After multiple unanswered calls to Ashley on March 25th, I finally spoke to someone and they said it would be another week for delivery. I've heard that before. So I went to Ashley Furniture on March 25th and asked for a return of my money, because I know longer wanted the couch due to bad customer service and constantly being told that my couch was on back order. I requested to speak to a manager/asst. manager 3 times and both employees I spoke to refused to get the manager for me. The lady at customer service helped me with my return but was clueless on who is doing the returns and how long it would take. She said I would receive an email about my return and to this day, I have not received an email and no checks have been received. I have also contacted the BBB and they have submitted my complaint to Ashley Furniture and they have not received a response either. I have left a bad review on google.com, pissedconsumer.com and I have emailed Ashley Furniture corporate and I have heard no response. I am owed a total of $781.54. read more

I've been to Ashley's a few times now and can say I'm very pleased with the beautiful layout of the store, quality and variety of pieces as well as the polite associates. I hate how most furniture stores have vultures who follow you around & pressure you but the associates here were not like that at all. Upon walking in we were greeted by an associate who let us know he'd help us with any questions etc and after we said we were just looking around he eventually found us again after some time to check in with us, by then we knew more or less what item(s) we wanted. So far my family has purchased a bed, mattress, sofa, table, and chest here thus far and are very satisfied with the quality of all the items. Our more recent sofa purchase we needed before a family Easter party and one of the managers there helped us to ensure the item could be expedited to arrive on time before Easter at no extra cost! Would definitely recommend. Prices range from low to $$$. read more

Tim was very knowledgeable and helpful as well as professional. Seemed reminiscent of Zig Ziglar as he put the hard sell on me.

My friend got a new apartment and she was ready to buy a couch. We walked in and got help from no one. We tried to find someone and were treated with disrespect and carelessness when we asked questions and were asked to help find a specific couch. We are younger women and the sales men were only talking to the older people in the store. Walked out and didn't buy a couch when she had cash in hand out. read more

I recently had an issue with a bed foundation that I ordered, based on the recommendation of the online customer service representative who sold me my bedroom furniture. I did not require a foundation based on the type of bed I ordered. I spoke to several people before I finally reached the person who made sure that my order could be both returned and refunded appropriately. A gentleman by the name of Jason Davis, who is the Retail Customer Care Representative Lead, very patiently discussed the situation via email, and he always followed-up to provide me updates on the status of my request to return the merchandise. He sent very nice individuals to pick up my foundation, and he made sure I received a refund back to my payment source. Jason definitely lives up to the title of "Customer Care Representative Lead" and Ashley knew what they were doing when they hired him. He was kind, patient, understanding and an exemplary model of professionalism for his peers and this company. JoAnne Ellis read more

really liked the salesperson but very disappointed in the quality and what transpired with the purchase of the mattress I bought. I was buying a Sterns and Foster out of the discounted area. I was told it came with a box spring. when I got there, they had the mattress removed off the box spring and set up by itself. I was told the box spring wasn't included with the mattress and if I wanted it I would have to pay another $100. The one that matched the actual mattress they would not sell to me. the other box spring had a different mattress on top of it so I could not see it. I truly believe this was on purpose!! when they brought it out to the vehicle to load the box spring had a huge hole in it and was messed up. the mattress didn't seem to be the exact one I saw as it had a grease stain on the corner. I ordered a mattress and bunk-bed stairs in August 2022. I receive varying degrees of updates on my order over the literal months between purchase and April when I finally got notification that my items are here. They will be delivered in May. I am giving the store 5 stars because of the great service of a manager, Joel. He straightened out a messed-up situation, followed up repeatedly, and made me possibly want to come back to the store when I have something else to buy in the future. Had it not been for him the score would've been zero stars. (Yes. I know I would have had to give a minimum of one star.) If the big boy owners of this store are listening, let me make some suggestions. A customer should not have to wander and search through the huge store to find a salesperson. I even saw three salespeople standing together having a laughing conversation when they should have been looking around to make sure customers were taken care of. Also, there needs to be oversight to make sure purchases are actually ordered so the customer is not sitting at home foolishly thinking something is actually going to be delivered. Yes. You read that correctly. Furthermore, there is no excuse for a salesperson to order king-size mattress protectors for queen-size beds. This is called carelessness. The customer should not have the responsibility of catching mistakes like this on their order form as they stand at the checkout, ready to leave. Our salesperson had to do no selling. By the time someone sent her to the bed area, at our request, we had decided what we wanted. This was not complicated. I have even wondered if the salespeople are not on commission. This store needs some major training of salespeople and immediate efforts to do oversight before the buying customer walks out the door. read more

It's interesting to me that you can buy a mattress, not from Sam Levitz/Ashley Home Store, and they give you a 90 day to 1 year trial to decide if you like it. But, Ashley's gives you 24-48 hours to decide if you like something in your home. I bought a bed for my toddler. Once we got it home, I wanted to try it out for her but we have not really used it because I do not feel comfortable with how high it is off the ground. When I called today, the woman in customer service said that if it hadn't been delivered within the last 24-48 hours, they could not help me and I was stuck with it. Very frustrating especially since we have been long time customers of Sam Levitz/Ashley's. read more

I have purchased a few pieces from here in the past with minimal issues but never again. I bought a bed frame and had it delivered and set up a couple weeks ago. Our new mattress is caving in the middle and we feel like it's not safe to sleep on. I've never been to a furniture store where a sales associate did not want to complete the sale. I came into the Ashley Furniture to purchase a coffee table and was told they didn't have any currently in stock minus the floor model. I offered to pay for the floor model but was told that the customers who have already ordered their coffee tables had priority. So, of course the first person who was called agreed to come pick up the floor model. Sales people at this place are overly pushy and sticky. DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEYS My wife and I placed an order in store for a tv stand and a sectional couch. The sales manager assured me multiple times that it would all be delivered on the delivery day we set for the following week. When it came to the delivery we only got the tv stand and 1 out of 5 pieces of the couch. The tv stand had multiple scratches, dents, wasn't fully put together, and came with no instructions. When I called customer service they told me that some of the pieces weren't in stock, therefor starting my frustration. I called the store again and then they told me that the pieces are in stock, but they're at a different location.. more frustration. I asked to speak to the manager again and was then promised that they would get the missing pieces on a truck and at my house the following day. The next day comes but the pieces do not. I called the store once more and they told me in short that the location of the missing pieces are unknown pretty much and that she would work on it. I was lied to and reassured delivery multiple times for a product they dont even know exists and they clearly don't have their shit together. Lying is just bad business. Now they're delivering it even later and I pray that it's the right couch and pieces cause now I'm not so sure, if it does arrive, that it'll be the right one. Then finally after calling and calling and being put on hold and only being able to reach a terrible unhelpful call tree that hangs up on you mid call I was able to reach a human being. After explaining my situation I told that I would receive a call back by 7pm from the corporate customer service rep... I never did. Third lie and again terrible service. You can find some great deals during the holidays! My issue is what happens after you purchase something. Lol, it's like a night and at difference. You go to the back of the store where you can find gross thrown out furniture. There's a sign that says "pick up" that just points to a brick wall. You just have to magically know to ring a small bell and they open the garage doors. Then on the way out you pass an alley, where today a small gang was! Lol it was ridiculous. read more

I absolutely do not recommend doing business with this store. My wife was sold "discounted" small space carpets that were rolled up but the salesman said they were like new. After unrolling them at home, they were used, dirty and it was a rip-off. We also bought a new mattress with the agreement that they would pick up and take the old one. The price on the new mattress when up $70 at the time of purchase and the salesman tried to aggressively push some kind of pad which we didn't need. The new mattress is fine but they DID NOT take the old mattress as per the contract and it still sits in the shed. It was literally impossible to get anywhere with these people on the phone. Time to upgrade the 20 year old sofar, we headed off to Sam Levitz/Ashley Homestore at Pantano and 22nd. The salesman was great. Then it took him 20 minutes to enter in the order details on two computer systems. Then he said he needed to get "manager approval" on a retail public store where the prices are clearly marked. He wouldn't waive the $40 delivery fee. The customer-hating cashier had to manually enter in the order on her version of two systems. She was rude, and unprofessional. The only two things she said amongst 10 minutes of "paperwork" was "cash or credit" and then a larger number. When I didn't know what she was saying and asked politely she got her anti-customer attitude on and said that was the total. Still she didn't get the credit card I was holding out Then she charged the card; I signed the slip. An equally hostile "assistant manager" showed up, her hands folded across her chest, and would not look us in the eye, talk to us, or so anything other than criticize the original cashier (who post signed-CC-sip was STILL typing away). I told her she was radiating hostility and she didn't even look up. It took us an hour and a half, the last half hour due to incompetence, 1970s systems, and rude cashier cage workers (oh yeah and the "assistant manager who should have been shown the door.) 14 days delivery. Then we got home, went to their website, ordered the same stuff, saved $500, got free delivery, and got the merchandise yesterday (no 14 day wait, no 30 minutes of paperwork, etc.) They should fire the people who clearly don't want to be there, fire the "assistant manager" who was useless, and allow their sales staff to order online -- much quicker than filling out pages and pages of stuff. Our salesperson -- Damon -- was great. The ladies with the attitudes scuttled that sale. We should have walked out at the first sign of "I don't like customers." Don't go to Sam Levitz/Ashley Homegoods. Do not buy there. Do not reward their attitude and sheer incompetence. Buy online, save bucks, get it delivered (for free) in a reasonable timeframe, and enjoy your furniture! Ehud Tucson AZ read more

Had such high hopes in this company. Heard nothing but decent word of mouth from former and current customers and decided to give them a try for a new mattress purchase for our new home. Walked in and we were amazed at such good quality furniture and helpful salesman. He took his time and got us situated with a new mattress to be delivered and we even got our credit limit increased--yay good credit lol! My wife took pictures of bed, tag and all because let's be honest-you can see one thing and get another...now here is where the issue begins and quite frankly the reason for 2 stars. Delivery 1-wrong mattress --we selected a hybrid latex firm and we got a memory foam and memory foam is what we 100% decided against due to the lack of comfort for us. Manager and salesman promised to fix--we had to wait a few days due to thanksgiving but anything worth having is worth waiting for so I agreed to a new delivery day Delivery day 2-WRONG FLOPPY mattress and it had stains all over it. To the point that the delivery guys tried to hide it from my wife seeing it. Unacceptable. This time I was beyond irate--called again and spoke to the manager (different one) and she took care of business--she called the warehouse and made sure it was the exact FIRM mattress we saw In store and she gave me her number to call if ANYTHING was amiss. Thank you to Lola for making sure it was right because 3rd time is a charm. Finally the correct mattress stain free was delivered and we are all set Until another manager called and asked that I edit my review on Facebook --so I did--I removed the tag and made my FB review visible to only friends --but let's be honest it had already circulated to anyone that needed to see it. Not sure how ethical it is for a company to ask me to edit a review if it's nothing but the truth...perhaps my profanity was uncalled for but the lack of accuracy I encountered for the first time deliveries for such a well known company blows my mind. If me "editing my review" cost me the compensation this last manager (not Lola) offered then so be it. Take pictures of everything!!! read more

The King Tempur-Pedic Luxe Breeze mattress and mattress pad purchased have been great - soft, cool, and comfortable. The sheets, on the other hand, 2 sets at almost $800!!! were totally unnecessary and overpriced (thought they were necessary for the warranty to remain in place). The Tencel fabric doesn't slide easily and one has to yank to get the top sheet to move. The King pillowcases swallow the Queen size pillows purchased (Kings pillows are not available) so they have been ditched. So has the top sheet. Sheets purchased elsewhere are being used. The only sheet in use is the bottom sheet...pretty doggone expensive for 2 bottom sheets. In addition, the sheet has to be dried on delicate. Even with a top-of-the-line dryer, this takes well over an hour. The sales associate was nice; just beware of the sheet situation if purchasing this particular bed. read more

Not the greatest experience. Bought an expensive king mattress, salesman wrote it up wrong and we got the wrong mattress. They did get the correct one out to us in a few days. Salesman sold us a mattress protector for $109 that was like slippery rubber mattress protector that you put in a crib. The sheets slipped all over the place. We were not told there is a 48 hour return policy on this and we were also not told that if we opened it, we couldn't return it. I was given a phone to call customer service and was told the same thing (after the fact) I asked for a manager but have not gotten a call back about this. Overall, this was not a good experience and I will not shop there again. read more
