On the day I first visited this location, I had been haggled, insulted and broken-hearted at a few other stores around town. With a brand new home and a mile-long to-do list, I took a deep breath a hoped for the best. I was always under the impression that Ashley was too expensive and would never be on my list of stores to shop. I couldn't have been more wrong. The sales team was quick to say hello and introduce themselves but they gave us space and didn't make us feel uncomfortable or "hunted". My husband and I closely examined a few pieces and were impressed with the craftsmanship and quality of the furniture. If you're looking for something Amish-made, imported from Italy or similar to Zsa-Zsa's palace, this is not for you. I happened to be looking for quality, decently priced items to beautify my brand new home. Ashley met all of my needs and I will definitely be back for the next phase of my projects. We purchased an entertainment center from Ashley HomeStore furniture. We are very unhappy with their delivery and assembly of the product. The whole experience was very unpleasant. The entire time while they assembled the entertainment center the delivery men complained about what a "headache" this piece was. It was obvious that they had no idea what they were doing because they had left the sliding doors on the ramp without the screws properly placed to stop the doors from actually sliding off. I pointed it out to them and they did fix that however, they then asked me if I had a step ladder for them to screw the pieces at the top together. I didn't, so they brought in their dolly to climb and screw the top together. If I am paying money for the assembly and delivery I am going to expect them to bring all the materials they need to do so. I was very over it and their complaining that I wanted them out of my house which eventually they managed to half way put it together and leave. Once my husband was home and we looked at everything we noticed several scratches. He also took a look at the top where they struggled to screw the entertainment center together and there was several screws left and missing screws which they never said a word to me about. I have called Ashley's home store the guy asked for me to send him pictures which I did and I was very vocal about how unhappy I was to which he responded it's kind of dumb, but we use a third party for delivery. We are waiting for someone to call me tomorrow about what they are going to do about this. My family & I ordered 2 bedroom sets, a dining room table with its four chairs, & a recliner. They kept post-poning the delivery & set up. When they came in to set up, we offered them water & to pay for their lunch. We treated them very well. They told us they forgot some parts to my bed so they would be back tomorrow. Well tomorrow turned into a week. Finally, I was home expecting them, I looked outside & there was one of th guys sitting in his truck on his phone. He sat there for 20 minutes. After 30 minutes I went to go check if he was still there, & if he was going to fix my bed, he was GONE. With our missing parts on the floor! He did not even ring the doorbell or knock. Had the wind been strong that day, those parts would have blown right off my porch. I am SO disappointed with their service. We called Ashley's furniture, & wanted to be reimbursed for our lousy delivery fee, & set up fee. They were only able to get us a gift card for THEIR store. If you are going to purchase from here, make sure you are able to pick the items up for yourself or you'll be waiting a LONG time to get it all to you. read more

We started walking around to look for the pieces we were interested in and were passed by an associate and again, nothing. Excitedly, we walked in and walked past several sales persons before anyone even acknowledged/greeted us. My husband and I made the comment that no one said hi. I don't know why Ashley has such bad reviews; my husband and I had a great experience there. We had done a lot of comparing of features of various Ashley couches online and had a pretty good idea of what we were looking for just walking into the store. Right away we were helped by Teale. Now let me explain two things: 1) my husband is on the Autism spectrum and can be rather awkward around people he doesn't know and in unfamiliar surroundings, and 2) he also has very specific requirements when it comes to physical comfort and seating. The couch couldn't be too soft or plush; the seats couldn't be too deep, the back too angled, the material scratchy or rough, etc. We explained this, as well as the color and material of couch that we were looking for, and Teale put us at ease right away. He was polite, professional, and patient. He took us back and forth across the store several times to compare couches (they were far apart and hard to find--the store is huge) even revisiting the same ones a few times. There was never any pressure, and Teale asked about our needs and why we wanted the specific color and material we did (blue, to add color, because our living room is basically tan, brown, and white; and microfiber, because we have cats and friends recommended it vs. kitty claw damage). When it came down to a question of budget, Teale gently suggested we check out one of Ashley's "no interest for x months" credit plans. There was no pressure; if we wanted the more economically priced couch, he would help us with that. But my husband preferred a more expensive sofa, and so we explored our options and were pleasantly surprised when we were approved, which allowed us to also get a matching chair and ottoman. This visit took a long time, between the back and forth, checking credit, explaining the return policy, etc. Teale got us water, checked in, and didn't try to rush us in any way--and I forgot to mention--we got there about an hour before they closed--and when we left, they'd actually been closed for about 15 minutes, and no one said a word. I was told up front about the various costs and how long it would take for the furniture to be delivered. The delivery team contacted me by phone and email to notify me of the delivery window, and then called about 10 minutes before they arrived within that window. They put the furniture together, removed the plastic, and carried it in and set it where I requested. The furniture is gorgeous, my husband is happy, and I am thrilled. Teale Foster, thank you for making our experience as painless and relaxed as possible. If you're looking for new furniture at reasonable prices and don't mind waiting a couple of weeks for it to show up (I think it was more like 10 days), I highly recommend that you go to Ashley and ask for Teale. read more

However, the prices did not reflect faux leather. However, it was very clean. Luckily, the sales people were not at all pushy, just a little more than the average kind of friendly. Here to comment on the purchasing experience from this store. Firstly, I'm surprised to read so many negative reviews! I'm now holding my breath about delivery. They mentioned they use a third party service, so maybe that's part of the problem. My partner purchased a bedroom set from them about 2 years ago and didn't have any issues, for whatever it's worth. (I'll update if anything goes wrong!) Secondly, we had a really good buying experience at this location. We were helped out by Johana, who was SO helpful, very knowledgable and not pushy. My partner pretty much knew he wanted a sectional sofa with a chaise, so that limited the options. She did a great job at showing us all the options, including catalogue options. She wasn't pushy and just provided us with the information we needed, which I appreciated. My partner ended up purchasing a sofa, and the check out process was smooth, all the fees were clearly laid out. I didn't feel there was much of an upsell, except for the 5 year protection plan, which you supposedly get back as store credit if you don't use it. Overall, it was a good experience and we walked away pretty happy. read more

Where to begin ... It should be noted that we had bought furniture in the past from Ashley's with no issues nor problems. Dining room tables, couches, etc. Went in to get a new couch at the end of November. Wife and I already knew what we were looking for so it was easy for the salesperson. And then the problems started. Salesperson tried to talk us into the 5 year protection plan which we declined. Then he mentioned that at the end of the 5 year period,"We get the money back". Seemed too good to be true, but we figured ok. We have dogs, maybe it's worth it. Then he accidentally double charges us for the plan and says that he has put in the refund. 5 days later I noticed that it hadn't posted and go in to ask a manager... The assistant manager tells me it takes 5-14 business days for the refund. After being given the actual paperwork, I find that the protection plan applies to a future purchase and is NOT refunded back to you. I inform them that we want the plan removed and a refund. At this point they now have over $1000.00 being held. So we move on. Sectional couch is coming in sections on different dates... we were informed so no worries. First part comes in fine. Only waiting for a reclining arm chair and side chairs for our dining room table. Told the recliner would be here in a week. Then get a confirmation call that it will be a week longer. I go in to ask what's going on and told that it is an "estimate" Recliner shows up in a week and does not work. We send it back and I go BACK to Ashley's to re-order and complain. 12-18 Salesperson does the best she can to help. Resubmits the order, tells me it is in the warehouse and should be delivered on 12/26. I express my frustration and she says that she will talk to the store manager and have her reach out to me. I get a text on 12/23 to confirm the deliver for 1/6/21 Figure it being Christmas weekend I am not going to bother with it. Go BACK to Ashley's on 12/28 and sit for 20 min waiting for the Store Manager while she is being yelled at by 2 other upset customers. Figure now is not the best time and ask when she is working next. She relays to the assistant that she is working Thursday (NYE) at 2. I go in at 2:30 to not inconvenience her but am told that she worked the morning shift and has left for the day. I go BACK AGAIN on NYD and explain my frustrations with being "misinformed" as to the protection plan, delayed deliveries, non-functioning furniture, still waiting for refunds (they eventually posted), multiple trips back to the store to have to resolve issues and all in all the most frustrating experience I have ever had. Told her we want to cancel the side chairs we ordered and just be done with this. If it was up to me I would have had them take everything back and sat on the floor until we went somewhere else to spend 5k. But cooler heads prevailed. I should note that she DID comp off 120.00 off the bill. As the store manager was processing cancellations and refunds, (should be noted that I was very curt with her and monosyllabic because I wanted to remain calm and professional) she leans forward with a conspiratorial whisper trying to make small talk about new year eve and yelling Jumanji at the stroke of midnight with her family. As a manager when you have an upset guest you are dealing with, joking around with them is an odd style to try and use. End of the day, their sales and discounts are NOT worth the frustration and aggravation you have to deal with. read more

I think Ashley stand behind their product and takes good care of customers. I had purchased a dining set from their Pfluggerville location from a company called Montage. But when i filled the claim for some scratches on the table top and rips in the leather seating at montage, they refused to repair either of the two damages. Ashley's customer service responded to my negative yelp review and took care of both the damages themselves. When they realized they cant repair the scratches and cant replace the table, they have agreed to refund the money I paid for the table. That is a very good customer experience. Thanks to Shannon Welch at the customer service department for following through on our claim. I will continue buying furniture from Ashley but will stay away from the protection plans sold by them that are offered by outside companies. read more

Went in to make a quick purchase of a small table then Jacob asked if I needed anything else, maybe look at a new mattress I said. 2 hours later I had made a large purchase. Jacob was amazing, he was so professional and very knowledgeable about what type of mattress would be best for me. He recommended a bed frame to go with it and it was t the most experience, he really listened to me about my taste and style. I must have asked 100 questions and he answered or got the answers every time. He wasn't a salesmen he was guiding me through a major purchase with no pressure, with kindness, respect and his easy going personality made me feel like I was shopping with a friend. I left excited to get my new items but even more excited that I was treated like every customer should be in a perfect world. I will be a customer for life thanks to my 2.5 hours with Jacob. This deal deserves zero stars! Mattress was supposed to be delivered last Tuesday. It is now Thursday night and it still hasn't been delivered. Promises have been made and broken. Customer service has been called they haven't been of any help. Delivery service is a mess and they've kept us waiting three days. I wish I could have this option to give zero rate. There was one month headache dealing with poor customer service and rude behaviors with Ashley furniture. Here is the story: 1. They set delivery time for us. I get off from my work waited more than 5 hours at home, nobody showed up , nobody called. 2. Called the customer service and waited behind phone line for more than 1.5 hours to be able to speak with customer service. Nobody even oligopolies for stood me up at the home. 3. They set another delivery schedule and brought me damaged and broken items. They don't even check the items before delivered to customers. 4. Refused to accept those but again nobody contact me with new delivery schedule. Called again customer service and waited 2 hours to talk to customer service representative. 5. Delivery staff came for last time with very rude behavior ( it is like they are angry at the customer, not me at them). 6. Called the store again, again 2 hours waiting, talked to manager and she said she will investigate and will call me back to explain the behavior but off course nobody called again. If you like to be respected ( not only before purchase), please find another store to buy. This place sucks, slow customer representatives, and when you call they never answer the phone Incase you want to follow up with an order. Will never buy/order anything from here again. Super unprofessional that their employee is telling misinformation to their customers. And apparently can't do anything about it. This will be my last time doing business with them. Well. I received my furniture. The dresser doesn't sit level... the delivery driver says if u turn it sideways it does. Tell me who wants to spendmoney on a dresser when they hv to hv it sticking out to make it level and it still wobbles when u open the drawer. Wait there's more. The chest of drawers 3 of the 5 are not put together correctly because it falls on 1 side when u open it. I went to Ashley over the Memorial Day weekend to confirm if they would match a price from another furniture store on an item they both had and was told they would. After putting in my application and comparing the Ad from the other furniture store, the guy checked with his manager and the manager decided he would not honor the price. After some consideration and haggling we settled on a price, which was $180 difference. But the sales guy had to check with the manager to confirm. The next day, still the weekend, the sales guy texted me to say his manager would not honor that price either, but that he would on Memorial Day. He said his manager agreed to offer 25% on Memorial Day. Before I made the drive to Ashley, I texted the sales guy to make sure of pricing...you guessed it, the manager, for the third time, decided not to honor the price. This was my first time to Ashley. Come JUNE we decided we were going to either cancel or switch our order. We went to the store and could not find anything similar to our original order so we canceled. This was in mid June. To this day we have NOT received our refund of over $800!!! We keep getting the run around and all they do is blame it on other people. I am furious with this place and can not believe they can get away with this. We have never received what we ordered in March and they still have our money! This company needs to be out of business! Terrible! I purchased a leather sectional about 6 years ago, within 2 years, the lower part of the chase collapsed, Ashley refused to take care of it and stated their warranty was for only a year. I paid $6K for this sectional. Never again! I paid a furniture repair company $350 to repair. Oh yeah, the extended warranty I purchased didn't cover it. Also, the "coloring" on the leather began to come of from wear, and the warranty doesn't cover that either! Fast forward 6 years, I now have a credit since the leather warranty wasn't used and I decided to just purchase a bed frame to get some use of remaining credit. This location doesn't answer their phones and the customer service number doesn't help. 3 different occasions I selected the option for a representative to call me instead of waiting 12 minutes and never received a call back. Arranging delivery has been a nightmare. I provided the new address and they confirmed delivery to our old address. Then because the new address wasn't noted, the person on the customer service line (who I could get to answer) was unable to do anything. Fast forward again to the rescheduled day of delivery which they informed us they would be there between 2-5. They call at 12:04 that they are waiting for us at the house. The service representative tells my husband that they tried calling us on a number that we had never heard of, insisted that we were incorrect, that our time was scheduled from 12-3. Oh and someone would call right back as they had to leave in 20 minutes, could we get someone at the house, and then no one calls. Go elsewhere, it isn't worth the frustration. They aren't easy to deal with and do not stand behind their products. 11/20/19-DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE!! The furniture that you will receive or get deliver will be very low quality or damage. You will be charge 120+ just to get it deliver and their delivery guys are as rude as it gets. Literally. We purchase a bedroom set about a month ago and this is the 3rd time that it gets delivered and the pieces are broken/ or damaged. Never had this experience with any furniture store including Rooms to Go!! Could not get thru on the phone w/ the Store manager so have to go all the way to the Store. I requested (of course) to look at the furniture before they were to put it inside of house on the 3rd attempt and the delivery guys were all pissed off and keep telling me they were taking all the pieces back if one was damage... The in person experience of buying my furniture was great. But.. since then it's been a disaster. 7 weeks on and I am still awaiting even being scheduled for delivery. I received a text message asking me to select a date for delivery. The date for my selected delivery came and went without even a call. Calling their helpline requires waiting on hold for 20+ minutes before the system hangs up on you. The salesperson and service is great while they are trying to take your money. Once they get your money the customer is practically non-existent! The delivery driver shows up within the correct time frame, however not all the pieces arrive. The driver states the store called to inform me of the missing piece. NOPE! Store never called! I call the store the next day, get transferred to customer care (oxymoron), where I am on hold for an HOUR! I finally hang up because I have to work. The store finally calls me 5 days later to schedule my deliver. I get a new deliver date with a time frame of 11:30-2:30. The day of deliver I get an email with a link to track deliver.....oh wait ..... no phone call, no heads up.... my deliver window is now 3:30-6:30. I call the store to speak with the manager to find out how and why my time frame was moved. I get put on hold for 48 minutes before being automatically transferred to customer care. I will say Bridgette at corporate customer care listened to my frustrations and did an excellent job of actually showing some actual concern. We'll see if she follows through on what she promised. I will say that we were planning on returning in the next few months to purchase a new bedroom set and that will not happen. They have lost my business! **Update ** - I did receive a refund of the delivery fee. I still have never heard back from the store or from anyone else. Purchased a kitchen table (round with leaf) and chairs. Paid premium price for poorly manufactured furniture. The tables are not solid wood, the finish began to peel almost immediately. The table seams are not flush - when you remove the leaf, the table center comes to a peak and is not flush. Your plates will rock because the surface is not flat. After 3 table swaps, all with the same issue, your only option is a store credit. The chair cushions will crush after a month. You'll feel the chair frame in a short period of time. I'm 192 lb 5' 11" size 34 waist. used the chair at dinner only - 1 month into using chair - you can feel frame - it's crushed already. Beware - once you purchase , all sales are final. They will send a technician - he will make a judgement call. Little he can do when you put a straight edge on the table and see the light of day on one end. "it's bowed", "warped IDK".. You can try a swap. You need to call someone else to setup a "swap" or exchange for different table. So we tried to find another table - I asked a sales person - are all brands made by the same company? "All our furniture is made in Vietnam! - The new China!" they said in glee. So they had no round 48" that would work. So we tried a swap - they brought two different tables - all 3 had same defect. So we returned it - we wanted to return it all but "Those chairs have been in your home waayyyy tooo long!!!" - The time in between all the table swaps and the return we're due to their scheduling. Bottom-line - we took our in store credit and had to find a few things we didn't really need just to use this money lost. All their stuff is expensive, made in Vietnam , sub par furniture that chances are will not become some family heirloom. We ended up stripping the solid oak table we had and refinished it over the holiday long weekend. Just looking at the workmanship of this old table makes me wonder if this craft is almost lost in the USA. I didn't find it in Vietnam or at Ashley Home Store for sure. I have my old table with your chairs and other stuff I didn't need. I do have to say that one lady who helped us over the phone was great. She told my wife to keep rejecting the furniture if it's not right. Except you get 3 runs at the fence, which is understandable. Then after we used up the in store credit - you charged me delivery again! lol.
