Let me break this down. 5 stars for Meena. Patient, accommodating and helpful. 4 star for selection. 3 stars for quality. Not the best but no the worst. 1 star for "verifying" in-stock and promising delivery on Memorial Day. 1 star for pushing my delivery out 6 weeks. Imagine staying home Memorial Day weekend, disassembling and tossing out old furniture on Sunday, expecting new furniture on Monday! Not getting a call and wondering what's happening. Then getting a call that the delivery is pushed out and only part of your order os coming. Kids have no beds, our living room is empty and I need to go shopping again. Every four to five days they called and said the supervisor will back to us , It's took them one month and then they said we can't to refund cuz it's over 30 days . When I first saw the low ratings, I wasn't sure why because we had a good experience in store. However, delivery is another issue. I scheduled delivery for October 16th and it was sent 10/6 without any notice. I had to reschedule and the process is terrible! On hold for 30 minutes and the phone hangs up on their end. Try to chat and get two different answers from different reps. They need to ficus more being accurate and not just pushing sales. Disappointing and frustrating. read more

Horrible store. I bought a sofa in full, and was delivered a broken sofa. Called complained, they came looked and claim it just wasn't pushed in all the way. Mind you they set up, and installed it, and so how does it just, come unlocked? They never fixed my sofa or made it right. I'm just stuck with a flawed sofa from the very beginning. I also was an idiot and got the sofa protection insurance because they claim they would clean spills including puke etc from children. A guest inevitably spilled an entire mug of coffee in my sofa and after going thru hoops to get my insurance fulfilled and my sofa cleaned, someone comes out to spot clean my sofa with a scrubber, half assed. I will never shop thru Ashley again. Worse experience ever. Full of disappointment. read more

A 3rd super expensive recliner chair with electric back massager w/heat malfunctioned Feb 2021 (purchased April 2020, delivered & 1st used weeks later,) I utilized warranty I purchased, took weeks for 1st repair to finally show up March 2021, they got chair working properly about 2 weeks. Then it wouldn't turn on @ all so I called warranty again, they referred a 2nd company which STOOD ME UP TODAY! Today I finally closed my Ashley's credit card. We had a nice run through Better Business Bureau and Ashley's Corporate office. They claimed no wrong doing after I told them their sales associate with their manager lied to me. Like I stated in my last review they said the protection plan was free and I still refused it but got charged for it. BBB will post my claim to make others aware of the situation and also they suggested me contact another place I can report them for their bad business practice. Ashley's didn't budge or admitted their wrong doing and basically threw us in the corner like trash. I suggest anyone who will make a purchase to check the screen to see what you are being charged and asked to see the receipts before signing or do not sign anything! Bought an entire house full of furniture for our new place. Your delivery guy was so great. My little granddaughter with autism was a little fussy and he used his phone to play her kids music while they put the furniture together. Just over and above wonderful service. Our in store visit went pretty well. Few hiccups with the ordering iPad. And somehow the wrong bed was ordered but it was another I had liked in the same wood so we just kept it. Happy accident. Again! If I could give a 0 I would! We purchased a dinning table after still waiting on a couch (going on three months now) giving Ashleys the benefit of the doubt. Our table was delivered today with TERMITES! I am beyond disappointed in Ashleys as we've had numerous issues with them and this is by far the worst! this has exposed our home to a possible infestation. We now have to bring in an exterminator to examine our home. This is beyond unprofessional as you would think the individuals assembling the table would see it and bring it to our attention, not to mention there should be a quality check on items before bringing them into people's home!! When I called they didn't offer to pick up the piece they said I was responsible for disposing of it! They've shown very little regard to the entire horrible experience we've had with them. COVID procedures followed to a T. The sales lady was great and informed there was a delay. My delivery date was set for Feb but was advised I would be called and rescheduled. No one called. A week later I call and am advised mid March. I call to confirm again and a part is missing so they won't deliver until they get it and the new tentative date is set for mid April. I don't even think I would have cared about this delay if anyone had done their due diligence and reached out to me beforehand. It's shoddy customer service, I emptied out my living room because no one told me the March date was tentative or told me anything at al after the buy date. Beware terrible service terrible products, I came in on February 8th 2021 myself and my wife were looking for couches we were approached by a sales person named Mukesh he showed us around and looked at a few sectionals we explained that we wanted to separate them due to our living being awkward, when we finally found the ones we wanted the sales person told me how would you like to get these for free? I was listening who wouldn't want free couches he explained that if we were interested in a Tempur pedic mattress he could wave fee for couches, we walked over tried a few out myself and my wife talked we thought we were going to be looking for new mattress set up in about a year or 2 why not move time frame up for deal, we decided on a mattress with a motorized platform the total came out to 5,400 with tax we were approved for 9,000 we were told up front we would have to pay tax and the 300 dollar delivery so I decided to just put a 1,000 down and finance the rest, we went back and forth with sales person as he wanted me to pay 300 for couches I said no you told me free finally after 3 hours he said ok for free mind you during our conversations he told me he doesn't make commission which I found out was a lie and he also brags that he's a millionaire and doesn't need the money he does this for conversations with people ok sure. Delivery finally comes on February 18th they arrive with items when furniture delivery team tried moving the platform into the house and it was to large to go up my stairs it damaged the ceiling of my stair way, the delivery person said if I wanted to get it up there it was going to damage stairs and ceiling and I would have to sign wavier and they were not responsible, I didn't see the point in damaging my house for theirs I think so I refused it he apologized said I can refuse it and asked if I still wanted sofas I said yes, when they brought them in I went to move them around and noticed hey are not finished the material that is normally on sides of couch was missing I tell delivery drivers just leave it I'll deal with store...... those word would haunt me even as I'm writing this on February 23 standing in store, so I come into store on the day of delivery I explain to manager Ariel what happened he informs me it's not in the system yet to comeback tomorrow I ask about unfinished sofas he says we have to fix this first and apply money you paid to sofas since now you will be paying for them since we didn't want mattress and motorized base, mind you this is after he tells me he oils have sent a team in there to make sure base went upstairs I should have called him really I didn't know you know more than delivery team, so my wife goes in the next day to see if they took care of it guess what no not only that they send sales people out to bully her on how we can buy a different bear to get it upstairs that the delivery don't know what they are doing very unprofessional!!!! So she goes back on the the 20th and guess what still not done the manager said he's waiting for his clerk to fix it and walks away I let her know on phone I'll deal with it Monday mind you they still won't address the issues of couches have unfinished sides So I go in Monday, February 23 only to find out that they still had not finished the paperwork so on that Day it's still showed a $5400 balance and they still had not fix the paperwork I was told that they are working on it this is even after since the first day we went in we were told every day they would fix it every day so finally I was able to deal with the Stephanie who was very helpful and let me know that she would contact upper management the regional Patricia to fix the problem and to come back in on Tuesday the 23rd in the matter would be taken care of, I asked to speak to the manager Ariel because I wanted to find out about the unfinished sides on my couch he informed me that that's how the couches came no I mentioned before when I bought these to the sales person but I wanted to move these around due to my living room being awkward everyone for me that's how they come and pretty much you're stuck with them there was no apology about the bed but the damage to my wall about paying a larger delivery fee or anything basically those are your couches deal with it I told him I saw on Ashley's furniture online that there's a policy for 30 days if it doesn't look right in your house or you're not satisfied that they can exchange I said I was willing to pay more for a different couch as long as it had everything complete on the fabric he informed me that any refund policy or any exchange policy is not predicated to his store in Palmdale California that ashleys.com or Ashley's in the east Coast and mid west was different than California I said so basically I'm stuck with couches without any fabric he informed me yeah. read more

DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! We've bought items from here before and they brought us our sectional installed improperly. The pieces are cheap and break easily. DON'T GET THE INSURANCE! It's stupid and you're better off learning how to fix/ clean cheap pieces yourself on YouTube! This time around, My husband and I wanted to purchase our master bedroom pieces from a place that offered quality customer service and quality items. We thought we'd give them a second chance and we also fell in love with a set. We waited 2.5hrs after choosing what we wanted in the store and the sales rep kept asking to place more items into our cart... too much time wasted when we already knew what we wanted!-- also the system kept resetting, taking more of our time. They delivered our items 2 weeks later on a Thursday and the headboard and the frame were BROKEN! They rescheduled us for the following Thursday WITHOUT CONFIRMING THE DATE WITH US! I guess they assumed we would be home? My husband asked to speak to a representative regarding the date and never got a call back. After calling at least 3 times since the delivery and requesting a date that we would be home? The manager gets on the phone to tell us that she rescheduled us for Sunday... without asking us if we were available? So we are now returning the items and we will be taking our business elsewhere. This is a quick review for Annie K. That woman has the patience of a saint. My grandma is LOUD and has...opinions. And we were there purchasing for my mom's cousin Cynthia who had a stroke a while ago. Cynthia was trying to purchase something and have it shipped to Philly. It was something that could be purchased online but if you catch my drift about my family, that maybe didn't happen. Annie was incredibly patient with them and made sure they understood what was happening and how to find something that fit within the budget. I am so disappointed about the service received at this store. First and foremost as you walk in, a store seller chases after you giving suggestions, giving you a business card, and asking what you are looking for. I sense their urgency in making you buy their products. I had no time to shop around and just enjoy the experience of buying our family new sofa set without having someone asking me repeatedly what I was looking for. I said, I was not ready to buy anything, but that didn't work. We bought our sofa set, I was told I would receive the love seat on Nov 20. That did not happened as they were not able to produce it and deliver it on time. Next schedule day was on Dec 12, still no loveseat sofa. Their next guess is the love seat would be delivered on Dec 21, 2020. We will see what happens. I never received notifications about the delivery postponed dates. I try chatting with them on their website, but they only chat with online purchasers. If you purchase at the store, you have to call the store. Unfortunately, they don't answered and when they do after 20 or so minutes of waiting. They can't be as much of help to let you know what's going on. I wanted so badly to cancel the order, but our family really liked our selection and we were willing to keep up with Ashley's production, distribution, and delivery inefficiency. My other sofa arrived as planned though and for that I am extremely grateful. I understand about the implications Covid-19 has presented to these businesses, but Amazon has faced those implications as well and still manage to excel in distribution and delivery. I am an online shopper, but buying sofas was something I was not going to do online. Too risky for returns if you don't like them. Ashley is selling more that what they can afford to produce, and delivery in a timely manner. The quality of furniture is great, but tte customer pays a reasonable price for quality. read more

Bad place for business, no human relations, no customer service. Type of place where once you sign their sales contract they switch and stop caring. I do not recommend you buy your home furnishings here, and I'll share why. I walked in the show room on Jan. 03 and choose a living room set ( couch, love seat , sofa, even a rug) upon signing for it we scheduled a delivery date (which has a fee of around $300.00 ) We set it for 10 days out so I have the opportunity to request a day off work and receive said items. They verify the drop off a day before and we confirm. Then on the day prior we get a call saying they are missing the rug and have no ETA for it and they cannot let us know when it will be available. They reschedule without asking for 10 days after, now I have wasted a day off. I call the store as I think it's fair to give them a chance to fix the situation and provide customer service, but at the store "Evelyn" says the warehouse is their own department and it's not like she can do anything about it. After sharing my frustration further to her she agreed to email the ware house but pretty much says she can't tell me when our set will come in and said she is actually due to end her shift so that's all she can say, bless her heart, poor thing, I say thank you and let her go on home lol She said her Managers name is Olga ..... I hope Olga reaches out to us and attempts to switch this experience around, I'm open to it. The reason why I went to Ashley's was because I thought there would be better customer service, so far they haven't met those expectations. I bought this bedroom set from Ashley's not too long ago spent almost $6000 had a technician out to fix the rails on the bed the technician put paper in it and closed out the ticket and said everything was fine really we've had nothing but the runaround with this store and I've spent a lot of money and everything you buy you get nothing but the runaround I have it fixed I am so tired of it people need to stop shopping there because they really don't honor their stuff if it keeps up I will take them court .. we went to the store after the last technician closed out the ticket and said it was fine they were supposed to send us new rails now to go to find out they never set appointment up and now they want to send another technician out and not give us a new rails I am so angry and so fed up with the store read more

I absolutely hate Ashley! The customer service should win an award for the worst customer service for the last three years! (Or more but the last three years in my book!) I bought a very expensive, cheap, piece of crap farm table. It is cheaply made and wobbles. There are deformities all over it. I bought a very expensive protection plan when I bought the table that apparently doesn't cover ANYTHING! I called about the deformities, doesn't cover it. I called because the seats were stained, doesn't cover it. I called because the table is very wobbly, yep! You guessed it, not covered... wtf does it cover?!?! They said it covers it if it breaks. Can I take a chainsaw to it?! I want to. I can not believe this place. Not only that, it took over 4 months to get my table delivered!!! I despise Ashley. Save your money, save yourself hours on hold only to have a few minutes of shitty customer service, and save yourself from pulling your hair out over making a very stupid mistake. First I bought a 3 piece sofa set included a rocker recliner, sadly on day 2 it was already falling apart noise was very apparent and I wanted these gone, obviously a manufactured defect because they were suppose to be new, well long story short because they can't just approve an exchange or return once in your home an email to regional first had to be sent, they emailed me To question the problem and in order to get anything done I had to prove myself to be honest by means of photos and or videos, which I did. then I was told a technician had to come and first see what he can do. Now I agreed to all of it just cause I knew they weren't willing to except my word but thankfully a technician by the name of Felix came went over everything in detail and saw what we described and agreed to the defect In writing thankfully and I went back to the store right after to be sure they got the report which they did and within an hour Ashley's called with a credit to my account to buy something else at this point which was fine with us because we weren't stuck with sofas that were defective any longer. Thank you Felix the technician who did an awesome job at also helping to learn more about couches and what to look for he knew his job very well, was very professional, friendly respectful and did his due diligence and I hope anyone else who meets him gets the same great experience as I did. Although we did not buy anything today, we were ably helped by salesperson Annie and I just want to mention the great job she did. The fact is that the Antelope Valley doesn't have a lot of options when it comes to furniture and particularly selection, but the store is large enough to have enough options to increase your odds of finding something you might like. We are shopping for bedroom furniture for the small guest room. I found their style Cassimore to be a possibility, but I still have to measure to see if it will fit in the room.
